IPhone :: Contact Photo Not Appearing Full Size When Making Call
Jun 21, 2012I have a iPhone 4 with the latest iOS. When I add a contact to my phone, I choose a contact picture from the photo library. I make a test call to the number, and the photo appears full size. The moment I leave the contact screen and try to make a test call again (for example, adding the contact to my favorites and using a favorite link to make a test call) the picture appears as a thumbnail. This happens immediately and to every contact I have. I sync the contact list with Google contacts.

Mar 21, 2012I've been searching and searching on how to change to contact photo size when you make a call or receive a call. I prefer to see the small thumbnail in the upper left corner as opposed to the entire screen being taken up by the contact's photo. After checking multiple threads on this website every answer states that when you use the Address Book on the Mac it syncs the small thumbnail and when you apply the photo on the iPhone it displays the full screen photo size for the contact. Well this solution is not working for me. I've tried deleting the contact's photo then applying them using the Address Book on my Mac and after they sync with iCloud and I make a call it still displays as a full screen photo.

When I add a pic to a contact from my iPhone it is full screen but after a few calls it reverts back to the small thumbnail size.
Any way to fix is so it stays fullscreen?

May 14, 2012With my iPhone 4, when I make or receive phone calls, I can hear the other person,but they cannot hear me. Apps like Pandora, iTunes, Voice Memos, and Shazam all work fine as far as playing music and recording sounds.Does anyone have any suggestions? One thought I had was to get a bluetooth phone set.

Feb 2, 2012When watching any video on my S2 (either downloaded or streaming) the video itself is very small in the centre of the screen. This wasn't always the case with it though. I think I must have dozed off watching something the other evening, leaving my finger on the screen, and now the "video ratio" icon that should be on the bar with the play, rwd and ffwd icons is no longer there!
Whatever I try, I cannot get the icon back or reset the video to maximise itself on screen.

May 13, 2010I got a replacement iPhone due to battery issues a couple weeks ago and ever since then my contacts pictures only come up very small in the top right corner of my screen if I receive a call. On my last phone, the contact picture took up the whole screen.I did some research and it seems that this is caused from syncing your contacts and their pictures onto your phone instead of adding them from your phone manually. I assume that I synced them with my Gmail and them Gmail put them back onto my new phone and this is what messed them up.Anybody know how I can remove all my contacts pictures and then re-sync them with Facebook? Or any other type of workaround?

I'm thinking this is only Verizon? My boyfriend has AT&T and his contact picture shows up full screen when someone calls him.

Mar 8, 2011Recently I discovered that when I navigate to a particular contact (it just happens to be the people I talk, email, text with most often) their information doesn't open up when I click on the trackpad.This only seems to be happening with specific contacts and not the majority of people in my address book.At this point I can only get my frequent contact's specific information (phone numbers, email addresses etc) by clicking the trackpad to find their contact name, clicking again on the menu key (I cannot click view either) and then selecting email, call, sms, mms etc and only then can I do the specific task.This is a new problem so I'm wondering if I've turned off some feature on my frequent contacts when I updated my FAcebook app on my phone.

Apr 19, 2012For some reason, when i scroll to the top of the messages between me and my daughter, the call button is not there. EMail face time and Contact are there, but no call. When I press contact I get her contact and her number is right there, face time and email work as well; but I cannot call her from the message screen.
Additionally when I sent her a text and she responds my text to her is not shown and hers shows us as a new sequence of messages.

I do use Lux pro for screen brightness control. Otherwise the screen is just slow in getting bright when I turn on the phone. Am I missing a setting?

Aug 22, 2011E6 #1 (made in Finland): had to bring it to repair service because of pathetic battery lifetime and no notification light.Got a new one 2 weeks later:6 #2 (made in Hungary): had to bring it to repair service, as the screen blanked out when making or receiving a call (proximity sensor broken?). Notification light issue unchanged, Couldn't test battery as it went back to repair after one day only.Got a new one 2 weeks later (i.e. today): #3 (made in China):first of all I upgraded to OS V22. Needless to say notification light didn't change. Besides:- battery cover wobbly, a fraction of a millimeter too short. Chinese quality issue?- bluetooth doesn't work properly. A connected and authorized headset (that worked well on the previous 2 E6s, an X7, an E72, a Blackberry etc.) doesn't connect when being turned on. Have to connect manually when wanting to make call.

And it says...Go to setting and manage storage with iCloud. I have deleted most of the app, photo, and just about everything else, and still keep getting this message. It's almost as if I will be paying additional 3.99-19.99 a month to manage the icloud for apps that I already had. Perhaps this is the gimmicks to order the 64GB iPhone 6. In fact, the 64GB is offered as an upgrade to new or additional line customers. Come On give us a break for the loyal customers Geezh!!
Plus can't even upgrade software update to iOS8.1.1 because there is not enough storage. What sense does that make to even upgrade to the new iPhone 6

May 10, 2010I just got a new Cosmos from Verizon and so far I love it. Just having a bit of a problem figuring out how to send full size photos to my PC. I tried one at 1280x960 landscape and it auto resizes before I can send it anywhere.I took another 1280x960 portrait and it will send full size to my email addy.I haven't experimented a lot yet, but I'm thinking the landscape orientation used too much file size for the network so it auto resizes. Is there a way to decrease the file size a bit without decreasing the resolution? I need to send pics to my email that are at least 1024x768.Auto resizing is BAD.
