I'm willing to accept this could be an issue with my media software transferring the MP3s (MediaMonkey - an otherwise excellent application), so I'm asking this question on their forum too.I've recently synced a load of MP3 files from my main PC to my X6 Mass Storage via USB.For some reason, most of the albums have had the album art images reduced in size enormously so they look really blurred and ugly.Is this a known issue with the X6, or perhaps a problem with my media software?
I would like to download images to my phone e.g. from my Facebook albums. 1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?
I can take great high res photos but every time I ask to email it says "the attachment file maybe reduced in size" this doesn't happen in Facebook or when I bbm the photo and I never had this happen with my old Tour phone.
I have a Torch 9810, provider is Rogers. For some reason now when I try to email a picture I receive a popup that says "the attachment file may be reduced in size". Then it takes my nice high resolution photo and reduces the file size to under 100kb. The picture file size is much higher but the phone just reduces the file size.
I believe at some point when I emailed a picture a pop up came up and asked if I wanted to reduce the file size of the picture. I said yes but I think there was a check box that makes this choice apply to all pictures I try to email.
I can't find anywhere in any of the options where I can reset that decision and have the phone send full size pictures when I email them.
When attaching a picture to an email the following popup is displayed. "The attachment file may be reduced in size" The picture no matter the size it was taken by the camera is drastically reduced in size. When viewing the picture on the recipients email the picture is very poor quality.
I recently got myself the nokia lumia 1020 after seeing and hearing about the camera on it. Well, I'm disappointed with the photos after transferring them to my computer and I am wondering if I am only getting the 5 mp shots off of the phone. I have a mac, and so I downloaded the Windows Phone app onto the computer so that I can hook my phone up via USB and take the photos off. When I take them off, they are grainy when you zoom in a couple of times. They also only appear to be, on average, 2mb in size. It seems to me that the full sized photos would take up more space than that, or am I wrong?
Recently I noticed that all of the contacts details I've had stored in my phone (names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses) have been reduced to part of the name and telephone numbers (all labeled mobile). I cannot find any addresses. I've had problems with I-sync and wondered if it's to do with that. I don't seem to be able to back up my phone onto my mac, so I can't save the info that's on there if I have to restore factory' settings. Do I have to start from scratch and just hit the 'restore factory settings' button?
I recently bought Nokia 5800. When installed any jar or .sis files on Card Memory, eventually my Phone Memory is getting used. Even though I am very diligent in selecting Card Memory while installation, Phone Memory is getting reduced. Kindly Help me please.
I was using the full on screen keyboard and actually getting use to it, lot's of mistakes made but I was still going with the flow. I read a post yesterday that suggested switching to the Reduced Keyboard.
It made all the difference, I type a million times faster!!!! No need for the slider keyboard.I recommend to everyone out there, at least give it a shot and see the difference if you aren't already doing it.
Anyone else experiencing this? Since upgrade my phine can be sleeping and drop a percent in five mins. May be the email app in the bg, nothing else really open just texts and phone.
I have a Curve 8900 which I have had for around 18 months with good battery life. About 8 weeks ago it started to fade quickly and not last long at all. I thought the battery had run its course so purchased a new genuine battery, fully charged and discharged at least 10 times and is no better than the one it replaced. It even runs flat from full when switched off for a couple of days.My network provider is orange although it was BT but the problem started before this.I also get email on the phone.I hope this is enough info.
I have Bold 9700 and recently upgraded the OS from 5 to 6. I have 256MB storage space in My World of which around 80MB was free before upgrade. Now only 12MB is left without adding any applications. I see that the new OS has stored the OS files on application memory; is there a way to transfer the new OS to the Media card?
I have a 32MB media card, if i upgrade the card will my application memory increase?
After accessing net in ELM, mobile the phone memory reduced in KBs often. So that I was unable to play any video files. Could you anyone suggest me how to mange the Phone Memory efficiently.
When a friend of mine sends me a group of photos, as in get like 5 - 10 pictures in a single message, the quality or size of each picture is reduced. On my Message app the size is reduced to about 1/6 of its original size. On Go SMS Pro, the size stays the same but the picture are blurry. At first I thought this was something caused by texting Apple / iPhone users but it also happens when I get pictures from other androids. Also if I send pictures after a certain number at once, when I check preview the size of a picture gets smaller.
I was eating dinner tonight and I dropped my iPhone in Alfredo sauce. Everything works except my speakers are muffled and the sound is reduced. What's my next step? I tried cleaning it out with a toothbrush.
I downloaded the new update for the tour and I've noticed my battery life has reduced significantly. Is there anything I can do to get more out of my battery?
I am suddenly experiencing vastly reduced battery life on my Bold 9650. It sounded the low battery alert in the middle of the afternoon on Friday and at around 8:30 p.m. today. The phone was off all day Saturday and was plugged into the charger from Friday night until the middle of this afternoon. This makes no sense to me, because I barely used the phone Friday or today, and as recently as last week, it was showing a good charge when I'd plug it in at 11 p.m. after a fair amount of usage through the day. Even on days of heavy usage, I've been making it until bedtime without the low battery alert. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to track this down without buying a new battery?
One difference in the last few days is that I have been home (some kind of human virus) all day, but I live a block from the cell tower, and my wifi signal reaches throughout the house pretty well. I thought that Friday's problem might have been interference from a wifi tablet, but I have scrupulously kept them apart today. Bluetooth is on, but that's normally the case. The battery is relatvely new, bought within the last six months from a vendor on Amazon. It appeared to be identical to the factory-installed battery, which lasted about a year-and-a-half.
Background apps that have been running on both days have been Blackberry Messenger, Facebook, Password Manager, BHive Tasks, Google Maps, Google Search, and Evernote (which says it last synched on Nov. 27th). Nothing unusual.
Phone: Blackberry Bold 9650 Carrier: Verizon OS version: 6.0 Bundle 3084 (v6.0.0.719, Platform 4.4.0.560) No Enterprise service
When I receive a call and phone rings, ringer volume shows on screen and it is reduced by itself to the minimum in a second). Is this behavior due to specific settings?
I have a few mp3's showing no album art & would like to download the images (from Google images) to enable the "change album art" option to work.I can't see an obvious way to do this e.g. there is no option to download images, either from Nokia web browser or via the album art function.
I accidentally removed my memory card without safely removing it, so what happens, images were broken. When i go to the file manager, there are no images in the photos folder. If i will delete the broken picture, it says, general system error. I tried updating the firmware but still nothing happened
my nokia x3 is brand new (bought 5 july 2012) but eversince i acquired it, it has problems opening all my photos. though there are photos in file it takes hours loading "please wait' and "no photos to display".l have formated my memory card and lost all the files that came with it. I've searched all over the place and cant get at least a relating topic, off google searches or here.I just got the phone and what Ive noticed whenever I view still images in internet browser on my E72 they all appear blurry, like very bad quality, yet other images like the letters on Google Website are in high quality. Why is that?
