I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to have a seperate folders and be able to hide them and store pics In them I was also wondering how to if possible make ur pictures password protected meaning you would need a password to see the pics you know for those sneaky folks!

Anyone able to hide or unhide (since one seemed to have vanished on me) their picture folders? I had a folder, ticked the hide button but it was still able to be seen. Battery pull (for a different issue) and than the folder is gone and have no idea how one would get it back.It's not like on the 9700.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have tried everything to try and resolve my issues but have not been able to do so.
First, I accidently hid a picture by checking the 'hide' field. Now how do you get it back?! I've had a couple of my friends with the same phone try and figure it out and they havent been able to.Secondly, when I choose a picture to be my wallpaper, it shows in a zoomed in version of the top left corner of the picture. I do recall when I was choosing the picture to set as my wallpaper, that I zoomed in on it before setting it, but used the 'back' key to remove the zoom feature. It appeared ok on the screen but set the wallpaper as the zoomed in picture. Now it doesn't matter which picture I choose, I get on the top left side, zoomed in showing up on my wallpaper. - even though it appears normal before setting it.
I can't hide my pictures from Media Folder. If I go to properties, Hide Button is inactive.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just upgraded my Blackberry 9700 to firmware 5.0.0.593. I noticed the Auto Standby 2.4.1 utility that locks the keyboard after 30 seconds doesn't function anymore. An automatic keyboard lock is a very basic functionality for every phone and it would be good if it can be reinstated in a future firmware release. I'm now using Ultimate Lock but this can't be activated by the top-left lock button. I'm also a fan of the Bedside mode as it prevents the LED from blinking at night and switches profiles automatically when you put it in the charging pod. Is there a way to prevent the clock from being displayed while the phone is charging in bedside mode? I've already set "Dim Screen" to Yes but it still lights up the room.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry bold where all my emails are being bulked into groups/folders.Basically in short, all my emails are bulk bulked up, such as if anything forming from person A will go into a folder, anything from person b goes into folder b.I am using also several email account and it happens to all of them.
This also makes it hard to search for any recent emails that just came in. I talked for numerous hours to Tmobile and even more with specialist with blackberry and they couldn't find a solution. Someone did mention to me that the Bold 9700 and if your on a 5.0 software with gmail account it messes it up and bulks up the emails.
It's strange because my son uses a Curve 8900 and has access to my email account but it doesn't bulk up the same emails, and he is on 4.6OS

When I select a folder to view the contents I can only see items that I have dropped in there. All my rule based emails (basically when an email comes in I have an outlook rule to move it to a folder) don't show up.

I have a 9700 Bold.I am running Oulook 2007 on my laptop. I have been synchronizing my contacts in Outlook with my 9700 without issue, using Blackberry Desktop Manager. However, I have now split my contacts within Outlook into two separate folders; one for my personal contacts and one for my business contacts.When I try to synchronize now manually, the Desktop Manager only reads my personal folder contacts and and asks to delete all my business contacts - which have been moved within Outlook out of that folder into the new business folder.Q. How can I set up a second, business, folder on my 9700 so that both folders will be synchronized when I next connect to the Desktop Manager?
