I use TrekBuddy, a navigation software. Trekbuddy stores map snippets on the phone, hundreds of little images in graphical format (JPEGs or PNGS).When I go into "Photos", Under "All"I see thousands of pictures because the phone finds all the map snippets.How can I hide the map snippets from the "Photo" galery?

it's getting increasingly annoying that every piece of album art in a music folder i copy onto my memory card, and every single jpg used by any installed applications, just automatically gets added to the gallery when i don't want it to, nor need it to.is there any way to stop it? none of the files are being added to the image folder, the phone just seems to automatically add EVERYTHING with no thought for where it is and why it's on the phone.

But I do not want or need to install this update. How do I hide the notification and delete the update from my phone. You used to be able to ignore updates, now I can't seem to find out how. View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently encountered issues with the photo gallery and the media player on my nokia n900 where all the photos, music and videos are not detected by them. If I were to browse to them via file manager, I can find what I'm looking for but if I go into "photos" in the main menu, it just displays "(no images)" (there are images on the phone) and in Media Player (main menu again) it just shows all 4 icons but shows "(no songs)" or "(no videos)" under music, video and shuffle all songs (again, there is music and videos on the phone). Internet radios still show 48 stations.
If I were to use file manager to open images, music or videos, they run normally as if their programs can detect them but they are still undetectable when gone into "photos" and "media player". Even with music, if I play it via file manager, hit back to go to the media player menu (with the 4 icons), it still shows no songs or videos, despite it playing one!Can anybody help me resolve this?Firmware version = 3.2010.02-8.203.1 (recently reflashed, issue was not occuring when I had the latest vodafone uk firmware version, forgot it's version number)Edit:Forgot to add, this happened gradually. These did work at first after the reflash, photo gallery went a week ago the media player stopped working today.
I didn't have this problem before -- usually games keep their sounds to themselves. But today, having refreshed the Music Library after installing Pipemania from OVI Store, I found out that its sound files are all there, among songs. I most certainly don't want to hear some splashing water in my shuffle, so I need to find a way to hide them from the library.

The shortcut or wiget option on the desktop does not go to anything except installed apps And the Options on folders only show copy or move but not to desktop.
I have copied 2 zipped folders on mass storage. Now when im trying to move it to PC or even when im trying to delete the 2 zipped folders, its giving me 'Access Denied' OR 'You dont have permission to delete the files'. I have few apps installed on my cell, which i might not get back, hence avoiding the formatting.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a question about deleting unnecessary folders from phone memory ( mass memory and memory card).When navigating through memory seeing those useless folders is a big annoyance, they basically just on the way.I'm talking about folders like - playlists, music , games, video and sound files and so on, for which I have no use.Some of them I cannot delete at all.Others after deletion reappear like nothing happened.
I'm not a child and like to keep everything organized.How can I delete those folders permanently or at least hide it?
I sync photo albums from my HD to my iPhone using iTunes and the albums show fine on the phone,but I can't get rid of the golly darn PhotoLibrary album. If it has to exist to hold the photos, no problem,BUT I don't want it to SHOW---have tried everything for hours, except something that will work.And why can't I drag and drop images to the phone and not have the pain of iTunes?

In Nokia Pureview 808 gallery should be more functional. For example, send option should be added to gallery. Send with Bluetooth, email, etc. In its current state, the options for gallery is very limited.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince I've had my S5, when I would download a pic from the internet, I'd be able to go into my gallery, into a folder called "download" and edit, send them, etc. All of a sudden that folder just disappeared! I downloaded a pic just to check, and the pic IS on my phone (not SD card, I've never used one), but there's no way for me to access it in the gallery. I don't know what changed, and it's annoying!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just installed Kaspersky mobile, and after a scan I've seen more than 18000 jpegs in E:system, a folder that I cannot access from phone or via Nokia Suite. Is there any way I can browse that folder and delete unwanted files? I think I got lots of useless files there after I installed Nokia Belle since lots of applications dissapeared. Also, I'm trying to see the hidden process that runs on my phone and I have no idea how because that dont shows in the application list. I dont know how to free more space on C: , got 46 Mb free and I dont know to free up more space.
View 2 Replies View RelatedNokia 808 Belle FP2's gallery is still crippled. There is no way to organize photos into folders or tag them in any useful manner. And there no possibility to select multiple items for sharing etc. Gallery cannot zoom images that are downloaded to the phone from other sources no matter how big these images are.
None of these limitations were present in Symbian Anna, so this is a major drawback and downgrade in terms of features even this 808 shoud be Nokias's current flag ship phone on photography domain.
Nokia N8 -- Belle Since updating to Belle, all my old videos I have filmed refuse to appear in teh normal Gallery. Any new videos I record go into teh Gallery as normal. Is there anyway to force teh gallery to rescan memory to fidn teh videos? It was fantastic having the videos and pictures in the same place sorted by date taken. Now it's just plain horrible. I thought about "syncing" the videos, backed up to my PC, to the phone using Nokia Suite, in the hope they would then appear in the Gallery, however it seems to insist on "transcoding" the videos! (Even though they were originally recorded on this phone!)
View 2 Replies View RelatedLast week I noticed that all my photos and videos have are missing from gallery and i thought I might have deleted them accidentally, but discovered tht after taking a picture they go missing withing a short time, A carefull search with OVI suite and my PC revealed tht all the videos and photos are still in the E;mass memory but for some reason I cant access them from my phone.
I also noticed tht there seem to be a problem with the E:mass memory when I access it through file manager. I cannot access any of my folders saved in the E: memory.
i want the new fixed FP2 update because my old FP2 has some problems with camera and gallery it got bugged sometimes and also camera button doesnt work untill i restart my phone
