I have been trying to figure out if I can put pictures that are in my camera folder in my gallery into different folders. I have over 400 pictures in my camera album and I get sick of scrolling through all these pictures looking for a certain picture.

Any idea what could have caused this and how to fix it? I won't be able to share photos, videos since I can't view them whenever my WIFI is on.
Also, my Android Market App where you tick going to the Android Market site is not working. It just says loading. Of course this is with my WIFI on.
its been a month using the xperia play but the photo captured by camera cannot be view in gallery.
after snap using the camera the photo can be view in camera option but after log out the camera option and come back in gallery the photo cannot view.
it showing icon a grey icon sort like the photo has been tear off.
Since I've had my S5, when I would download a pic from the internet, I'd be able to go into my gallery, into a folder called "download" and edit, send them, etc. All of a sudden that folder just disappeared! I downloaded a pic just to check, and the pic IS on my phone (not SD card, I've never used one), but there's no way for me to access it in the gallery. I don't know what changed, and it's annoying!

it's getting increasingly annoying that every piece of album art in a music folder i copy onto my memory card, and every single jpg used by any installed applications, just automatically gets added to the gallery when i don't want it to, nor need it to.is there any way to stop it? none of the files are being added to the image folder, the phone just seems to automatically add EVERYTHING with no thought for where it is and why it's on the phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a problem trying to transfer my Contacts from my Xperia X10 mini/pro to my computer via PC Companion. I followed the instructions, copied the contacts to the Memory Card, the vCard File was successfully created. But when I mount the phone via USB, the memory card cannot be recognized by the computer. I tried different combinations, but the PCC cannot find the contacts. I had to use Bluetooth to transfer the contacts to my new Xperia S, but for some reason, some of the contacts were not transfered. I believe all contacts that I got from Facebook were not added to the vCard File. To be more specific, I have 631 contacts in my phone and only 495 could be transferred.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a folder with some icons that I hide in gallery. I updated one of the pictures and wanted to show it again and gallery will not show it.
If I go into gallery and click on hide/show album that album shows with a check mark. I click on done and it displays something like hide/show was applied. However, the album never displays.
I have tried deleting the album and putting it back and it will not display. But if I change the name of the album in file explorer it shows. Is there any way to get the original folder to appear in gallery?
I got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 a week ago. Well I have that little problem with it that whenever I download a pic from for example Google or Hangouts I don't have the -Downloads- folder in my gallery. They do not show up anywhere except if I go to "My files - internal memory - downloads" but nowhere in the gallery. In the gallery I chose the option to show every pic which is saved to the device but they don't show up only camera photos, screenshots. Nothing else.

Recently my SD card got full while I was taking pictures, and so the new saved pictures were moved automatically to the internal memory. Now, each time I take a photo or a video, it is automatically saved to a "DCIM" folder in the device storage (the photos taken with the Facebook app are saved in the same folder too).Since the folder changed, I have problems with camera apps like the default camera app, the facebook camera app or the paper camera app. They freeze each time I try to take a picture.I also have a problem with the gallery app, which cannot upload (display?) the photos and videos I took anymore. My camera seems to have corrupted autofocus functionality "it seems to be locked on infinity and I cannot focus on any object. I know that autofocusing should normally be triggered by long-tapping camera button in the default application, but it never happens". I always get red focusing mark and a blurry photo.
This behavior is observed on both 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 with default application, Camera ZOOM Ex, Camera 360 and lgCamera. I tried every focusing setting (auto, infinity, macro), but no luck. I also tried to clear application data for Camera app, but it didn't give any results either.
I opened service menu > service tests > camera, and after tapping on screen I got a message: 'Autofocus failed, taking picture anyway'.
Here's an example of my photo: As you can see, it is of quite poor quality. It was taken from approximately 25-30 cm above surface, with 'Macro' focus settings and other settings in default state.
Just yesterday my phone has started to malfunction. A pop up window keeps appearing ''Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped''. I have to click it around 6 times before it stops popping up, this happens frequently every minute.
When I try to use my camera it says ''Unfortunately, Camera has stopped''. When go onto Settings, Half of the menus are unusable. If I click one that's ''broken'' It closes itself immediately.

I know many of us did not buy this phone for its camera capabilities, but given that this is part of the Xperia line, it's disappointing that this phone did not ship with at least the X10's imaging software. Sony Ericsson was content to put their on touch on many areas of the device, yet, they decided to NOT touch one of worst pieces of Android. Would anyone else have liked SE to tweak the camera software? I wasn't expecting Arc-status, but I also wasn't expecting such a low-quality experience on such a "high-end" device.
View 4 Replies View RelatedA few days ago I stupidly dropped my xperia play in the bath. I let it dry out and place in rice in a sealed container for a few days to dry it out. However when I now power the phone up the camera flash light stays on and will not switch off even going into the camera settings and turning it off. I done the software repair download from the sony website but it hasn't helped.I also purchased a new battery as well. I am guessing it's going to need repaired but I thought I ask on here if anyone has ideas as to what would be causing the problem.
