May 23, 2011I cannot find a way to do a mass delete of e-mails from a folder...mostly, from my "Trash" e-mail. You must delete (tap on each e-mails "box") one at a time...prior to selecting "delete".This is extremely time consuming for someone receiving a lot of e-mails.

Mar 15, 2015I've always used whatever email app was stock on my phones but I've recently been experimenting with other apps. My primary acct. is with Comcast and I have multiple folders set up for organization purposes; receipts, auto, ebay, etc. None of the email apps I've tried recognize any of the folders other than the inbox. Are there any apps out there that support this? Also, every app I've tried seem to only be able access the most recent 45 emails? Why don't they see everything in the inbox?

Mar 29, 2012New to the Maxx and having a problem - I use the default Yahoo Email APP. When I click on FOLDERS, it doesn't show the few additonal Folders that exist in my YAHOO account online. The only ones displayable are: Inbox, Trash, Outbox, and Sent. These appear to be only Folders ON my phone -- not what exists in my online YAHOO account.. On my previous phone, there use to be a way to display those other folders ..
Maybe it's time to look at another email APP ..

Jan 16, 2015When I delete emails from my pc on my old earthlink account (yes, I still use an earthlink account, got too much stuff linked to it still) it doesn't remove them from my Turbo email folder. Not sure if I'm missing a setting or what but my old Droid DNA synced just fine. I'm using the default email app on the phone. I'm tired of seeing a ton of emails on my phone but only having 10 in my inbox via my pc.

2) Delete from server and local device
Whith my Droid when I delete a email it still stays on server and therefore shows up as unread in Outlook.

Aug 22, 2011I have just returned from the Sprint store where they reset my Photon and synced with my old phone after I couldn't get rid of my duplicate contacts. I looked in the store and my phone had single recordings of the contacts, for a total of around 600. I came home, signed in and synced with GMail which only has 3 contacts and was trying to figure out how to send my phone contacts to Gmail. I'm not sure what I did but I suddenly have 1200 contacts on my phone and onl,y 3 contacts in Gmail.

Jul 9, 2011I just got the DX2 and have had it freeze on me when I'm typing on the keyboard. Initially, with the default keyboard settings, it would freeze on me whenever I put a space in between words after like the 3rd word typed. THEN, after removing the auto-correct function from the keyboard settings I solved that problem. Now, whenever I type a string of "!!!" or "..." it freezes the keyboard on me. The only way to get the phone back up is a reboot.
Secondly, I have received numerous duplicate text messages (as many as 7) of incoming texts from multiple different users in different areas of the country. I was in 3G coverage areas with excellent bars at the time so I'm not sure why this would happen. I also checked on this with my verizon bill and I'm being billed for these duplicate messages! NOT COOL.

Jul 26, 2011I've created a folder on one of my home screens named, "Finance."I've placed about ten apps in said folder (e.g., Quote Pro, Tradefiields, Tip Calc, Bank of America, etc. etc.)I'm attempting to keep like apps together (i.e., all stock apps appearing as the first few apps, followed by "bank related apps, followed by types of calculators, etc.)However, everytime I arrange these apps in this manner, then return later, they are all mixed up, no longer honoring my attempt to categorize them.There is no rhyme or reason as to how they then appear, as far as I can discern.They do not then show up as alphabetized, or any other logical way, ah!, unless by size of app or something like that, you think? all that said, does anyone know of a way to "lock" apps in the order they are placed, so as they remain grouped?

The folders that Quick Office seems to point to are dcim (which, to my knowledge relates to pictures) and a directory called LOST.dir. How do I (1) create folders (or a directory structure of folders, and (2) tell Quick Office to point there? Or, do I have to tell GMAIL what to do with attachments?
