Before the ICS update (which has been a nightmare - 4 hours with Verizon trying to fix my phone....) hitting "settings" had an option for showing all folders. Now I can only find the inbox - where did "sent" mail and "Trash" go?
View 1 RepliesI've always used whatever email app was stock on my phones but I've recently been experimenting with other apps. My primary acct. is with Comcast and I have multiple folders set up for organization purposes; receipts, auto, ebay, etc. None of the email apps I've tried recognize any of the folders other than the inbox. Are there any apps out there that support this? Also, every app I've tried seem to only be able access the most recent 45 emails? Why don't they see everything in the inbox?

When I click on FOLDERS, it doesn't show the few additonal Folders that exist in my YAHOO account online. The only ones displayable are: Inbox, Trash, Outbox, and Sent. These appear to be only Folders ON my phone -- not what exists in my online YAHOO account.. On my previous phone, there use to be a way to display those other folders ..
Maybe it's time to look at another email APP ..
Has anyone been able to ge the default mail client to use imap server folders? Such as "sent", "drafts", "trash" instead of using the folders located on the phone?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've created a folder on one of my home screens named, "Finance."I've placed about ten apps in said folder (e.g., Quote Pro, Tradefiields, Tip Calc, Bank of America, etc. etc.)I'm attempting to keep like apps together (i.e., all stock apps appearing as the first few apps, followed by "bank related apps, followed by types of calculators, etc.)However, everytime I arrange these apps in this manner, then return later, they are all mixed up, no longer honoring my attempt to categorize them.There is no rhyme or reason as to how they then appear, as far as I can discern.They do not then show up as alphabetized, or any other logical way, ah!, unless by size of app or something like that, you think? all that said, does anyone know of a way to "lock" apps in the order they are placed, so as they remain grouped?

The folders that Quick Office seems to point to are dcim (which, to my knowledge relates to pictures) and a directory called LOST.dir. How do I (1) create folders (or a directory structure of folders, and (2) tell Quick Office to point there? Or, do I have to tell GMAIL what to do with attachments?

View 2 Replies View RelatedCan't see contents of some folders when connected to windows 8 pc, ie if I open my comics folder I can see all of my CBR files right away. If I open my movies folder its blank, no avi files. The kicker is if I copy and past the .avi files on the phone then past them to another folder, ie the books folder, it shoes the .avi files when I look for them while connected tovm PC.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to connect to my shared folders on a Windows XP machine through the My Files app, but it keeps saying the login is incorrect. The shared folders are the typical XP Shared Documents in My Computer, and I can access them through EStrongs File Explorer easily, and the PC has a username and password so that's not the problem. It doesn't matter what I type in for that anyways.Shouldn't this work out of the box? It seems like I have to jump through some unspecified hoops here, and there's no clue what I'm supposed to do. It looks like a useless feature at this point.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI wonder if anyone can help me with this problem please. I have recently purchased a BB-Bold 9700 and transferred my settings from my old Bold. I have to email addresses (both Gmail) registered which appear on my main screen. The push email works fine! However, whenever I send an email, I cannot see the sent mail in the individual email folders but only in the main messages folder which is very annoying and confusing. Here's what I have tried sofar:
1. I tried to go into options and mark "No" in the section indicated hide my sent messages.
2. I tried going into filter and ticking sent messages. They appear but once you press the back button they disappear again.
3. I tried going onto the BB website and I successfully downloaded the newest software update (5.0.0.4) but still it did not resolve the problem....
Do I need to wipe off the whole device? Can someone please help because I'm very confused and frustrated with this issue.....

(no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

I already tried going to Options ->Device -> Advanced -> Service Book and try to look for those email addresses, but they are not there.

So if an email comes in from a certain email address it goes into a certain folder automatically instead of the regular inbox. Because of this I now no longer get those emails to my BB. I only get emails that still go to the general inbox.[URL].. and have attempted to set it up but it does not work, it says the only folders I have are inbox and spam, when in reality I have at least 10 other folders. I have tried to use the BB desktop manager thing but I get stuck at step 1 as I cannot find email settings anywhere in the program.

Originally I wanted to set up my Blackberry email in OUtlook, but it seems that is not poossible, so the only alternative is to store my email in folders.
From the research that I have done, it appears that I can add, move, delete or rename email folders on my blackberry device only if I have the enterprise version of the operating system. Is there any way to be able to organize my messages on my device other than a huge inbox as a personal (not enterprise) user?If possible I'd like to synchronize my folders, but I'd settle to just be able to create my own folders on my blackberry for organization purposes.Maybe it's just me, but this seems like a huge weakness when comparing to other types of mobile devices.
