I can't find a way to make folders in the photo section of my droid turbo. It had camera roll, downloads, screen shots. But won't let me make a named folder to store pictures in.
View 2 RepliesI imported my photos on my computer last night from my phone. Typically I do this by creating a folder on my desktop, copying and pasting from the DCIM folder on the phone. I then will open up Picasa where I edit my photos. All of these steps seemed to work as they normally do (status bar completed, etc) so I went ahead and deleted the pictures in the DCIM folder. When I went to edit the photos, I realized that only about 10 of them were there... not the over 100 I had saved.
Any ways to recover off some hidden spot on the phone? I tried a free app which located many of the photos that were deleted, however, none of the ones I actually needed, which were only taken hours before. I'm thinking they never had a chance to save wherever these recovered ones went?
My phone called someone in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. It has made a few other calls during the day without a requests from me. In addition if it hears music it starts sending a 3 bell ring and on screen asks if I will not speak more clearly. At times it talks and says "Speak more clearly." The screen sometimes shows a cloud when interrupting and other times a mic. I think this may be due to a malfunctioning google assist. I think it thinks music is my voice. Sometimes I am taking pictures with it and it hears music causing it to change from the camera mode to ring 3 tones and say speak more clearly. The calling and interruptions are nuisances.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone was run over by a car. i brought it to a cell phone repair shop to try and extract the photos from the vacation we where on. i buy a new screen get it installed, my motherboard has crashed and phone wont turn on. I am wondering how i can get the photos off. Its a droid turbo once it fails to start up the screen remains off but it vibrated every 30sec.

My primary acct. is with Comcast and I have multiple folders set up for organization purposes; receipts, auto, ebay, etc. None of the email apps I've tried recognize any of the folders other than the inbox. Are there any apps out there that support this? Also, every app I've tried seem to only be able access the most recent 45 emails? Why don't they see everything in the inbox?

View 9 Replies View RelatedCan't see contents of some folders when connected to windows 8 pc, ie if I open my comics folder I can see all of my CBR files right away. If I open my movies folder its blank, no avi files. The kicker is if I copy and past the .avi files on the phone then past them to another folder, ie the books folder, it shoes the .avi files when I look for them while connected tovm PC.

View 19 Replies View RelatedIdeally, any time I make or receive a call I'd like for the screen to be automatically turned off as if I always immediately hit the "screen on/off" button once the call was active.
To describe in more detail: I want the screen to turn off independent of how close it is to my ear. If I want the screen on, I want to have to hit the "screen on" button. This would prevent me from ever accidentally hitting screen buttons when I position the phone on my collar during calls as opposed to holding it against my head.
My camera died and I heard the Droid Turbo had a great camera so I killed two birds with one stone. I purchased a new phone and got a great camera at the same time. Now the problem. I must have date taken on my photos. I don't print photos, I send them to other people. How can I get date taken on my photos?

I'm thinking this is more of an OS related question, but I've been reading that the version of OS on the Turbo is almost stock so not quite sure how it works. View 5 Replies View RelatedOver the last couple nights I've noticed that my Turbo won't charge overnight. I often read or play games before bed and it seems if I have a few apps open and then plug it in it won't charge. If I close all the apps down then I've never had a problem.
I've also noticed it freezing up at times and then rebooting by itself if I don't close open apps.
The phone is great and at this point I don't care about Lollipop. We've had 2 S5 go bad with Lollipop and until they get the bugs all worked out I'll keep munchin the kitkat.

If the problem persists please power off phone. Well the problem always persists and I always have to power off my phone and turn it back on to get the camera working again. I've tried clearing out the data and the cache and it doesn't work.
