So my husband just upgraded to the turbo. On his previous Motorola he could make photo albums to seperated his photos in his gallery, we can't seem to figure out how to do that with this one.

Been trying to figure out the gallery since I got the phone. It lumps every photo I have into 1 Album even though I have them in folders. They are on the internal memory. I made a folder called Media / My Pix // and Media / My Flix. I know On my HTC it read my folders and grouped then which was nice.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy photo gallery is a mess. There are many duplicates and two thumbnail directories. I would like to wipe it out and reimport photos from my PC. How the photo directories are arranged on the Droid Razr. If viewed in a file browser it appears that all of the subdirectories branch off the DCIM directory. However I have the following with multiple copies of each photo.
DCIM/.thumbnails/.thumbnails
There is also a "pictures" directory. What photos go into thumbnails? Which photos go into "Pictures"? What are the .spmo files? If I merge all of the thumbnails into one directory, is there going to be a problem with the files called "thumbdata3"? What will be best file structure and how to best organize it.

I have been using a free program called "send reduced" when I need to email a picture. I transfer pics to my computer using Google Drive when I want to save them. Was wondering how others are handling these huge files?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIdeally, any time I make or receive a call I'd like for the screen to be automatically turned off as if I always immediately hit the "screen on/off" button once the call was active.
To describe in more detail: I want the screen to turn off independent of how close it is to my ear. If I want the screen on, I want to have to hit the "screen on" button. This would prevent me from ever accidentally hitting screen buttons when I position the phone on my collar during calls as opposed to holding it against my head.
I can't find a way to make folders in the photo section of my droid turbo. It had camera roll, downloads, screen shots. But won't let me make a named folder to store pictures in.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy phone called someone in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. It has made a few other calls during the day without a requests from me. In addition if it hears music it starts sending a 3 bell ring and on screen asks if I will not speak more clearly. At times it talks and says "Speak more clearly." The screen sometimes shows a cloud when interrupting and other times a mic. I think this may be due to a malfunctioning google assist. I think it thinks music is my voice. Sometimes I am taking pictures with it and it hears music causing it to change from the camera mode to ring 3 tones and say speak more clearly. The calling and interruptions are nuisances.

Whenever I try adding a picture to an album I get an error that says "Sorry - The application Gallery (process com.motorola.gallery) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." The only option I have is to force close, no report option. I have tried shutting down the phone and rebooting it and the problem is still occurring. I also have done a full system scan using the antivirus app, Lookout. No problems showed up on the scan. I have also done a hard reset (removing the battery)

If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. Is it possible to transfer photo gallery on device to SIM card?? When I purchased the Photon they just slapped my old blackberry Sim card in and unfortunately the settings for the camera were such that 1300 photos later (of my 18 month old) I discovered all the photos taken since I've had the Photon are on the device and not the Sim card... problem is I've been unable to download to them via PC despite downloading the recommended drivers...can't get the computer to recognize the USB no matter what I do. Touching the controls icons won't do anything, just blank screen.I have to wait for a few, then the launcher freeze popup saying wait/report/stop. View 4 Replies View RelatedJust "upgraded" my Palm Pre for a iPhone 4 and going crazy trying figure out how to move my pictures out of the photo roll and into different albums. From what I have tried it seems making different albums only tags the photo but doesn't actually move it. Any suggestions as to how I can have pictures in different albums without them staying in the photo roll also? Do I need to use an app to be able to do this?

I am trying to make Picasa webalbums appear in Gallery, but unfortunately not all of the albums appear. I have enabled Picasa sync from Settings, however the sync icon never diappears. Even when I disable and re-enable Picasa sync, the icon will rotate for a few seconds and then it will stop. It will not disappear as it would normally do after a full sync (that's what happens when calendar, or contacts finishes syncing)
Now, in Gallery, only few of my Webalbums appear. The funny thing is that as the albums load on to the screen some Album Titles flash on the screen quickly, BUT when the loading completes, these albums are nowhere to be found in Gallery.
All but my Camera Album from my SD card are missing. However, I can find them in a file manager app. My downloads, screenshots, and Camera folder on the device are all there, just not in the Gallery. When I take a photo now, it creates a new folder in the Gallery. However, the photo that I taken when navigated to it in file manager, is in the same folder as the missing photos? I've cleared the cache and data. Restarted the phone multiple times.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had my S6 Edge for about 2 weeks now and have loved every moment of its ownership.I came from a HTC M8 where I could go into the gallery and hide albums from not being seen !? After transferring everything from my M8 to the S6 I for the life me cannot hide any albums. Of course each time a friend or buddy wants to see my new phone I'm so paranoid of them going into the gallery to see " pictures " they shouldn't be seeing !?
Is it me os there no way to hide this unlike my old M8 you can just click a tab here or there and its hidden ?? Oh by the way don't bother asking what pictures wink wink !??
I used Google's https: market.android.com to transfer all my apps from my Droid 1 to my Bionic. By and large it was seemless and quick. However, less than half of my Gallery pictures made it over. Because the Gallery is a stock app and not in the marketplace it is not on the the above market transfer desktop application.I also have astro and estrong on my device.
