Can't seem to find any way to correct red eye with the stock gallery picture app. Is there anywhere in the phone that you can correct red eye without downloading a third party app?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI know this isn't a serious issue at all (it's hardly an issue) but I was wondering if anyone else feels that the pinch zoom feature in the gallery is a bit too choppy? It is smoother when zooming in on lower resolution photos but not so much on larger files. I just thought it was odd and a bit wonky to use.
View 3 Replies View RelatedGot a picture sent to my X from my son's X. He took the photo in portrait mode. When I received it, as I was holding the phone upright (portrait) the photo was showing sideways. I rotated the phone, and the photo rotated yet again so its again sideways to the orientation of the phone. The only way to see the photo in the correct orientation is to hold the phone upside down, i.e. hard buttons at the top. I never noticed this before and it doesn't do it with pictures that were already on the phone. I looked at the one he took on his phone and it is in the correct orientation. I opened the picture both in the stock messaging app and in Handcent and its the same in both.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince I installed the 5.1 update, I've noticed in the stock battery stats that wifi displays as always on, with a solid green line across the screen, even when wifi is off AND disconnected from any wifi signal. I don't seem to have a drain on the battery as a result, but I don't have a clue why it would show up like this.

View 2 Replies View Relatedsometimes when i receive a MMS message, it comes in as a "slideshow" in which i need to hit "play" to watch it for a duration of 20 seconds and the picture is always in the middle around 10 seconds.
is this a setting that i need to disable?
the picture should just show up instead of me watching it on the "slideshow" which is just a waste of time.

I have been using a free program called "send reduced" when I need to email a picture. I transfer pics to my computer using Google Drive when I want to save them. Was wondering how others are handling these huge files?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a droid turbo. When i throw my music into my music folder that appears after plugging my phone into the computer, i cant find it on my phone. I will either put MP3s directly into the "music" folder, or i will create another folder within the music player, name it after the band or album, and then put the mp3s into that newly created folder. Then upon rebooting my phone, the music doesn't appear in the music player application. Though if i do put music into my "downloads" folder i am able to find it, though with this method i am unable to organize the music at all.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBefore the update, my gallery used to be able to sort by folders that I organized through computer. However, after the update it seems like the gallery put all my pictures in the same folder and can only be sorted by date, name, etc but not by folders.
Is there a way to display in folders with the stock gallery? I think the new gallery update is so inconvenient!
More recently, my droid turbo has been turning rainbow colors instead of black with the time when it's charging. If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!

Then I say delete the picture(s from the SD card do I lose the picture assigned to the contact? Or is the picture assigned to a contact 'special' and also resized and kept somewhere else?

View 5 Replies View RelatedHow to delete unwanted picture data from gallery (XOOM) It's not that simple, in this case. I recently discovered somehow I had downloaded over 490 images into my gallery. Some 21 say Blogger pictures, and 459 are entitled from my Wordpress blog. I don't have a clue how they got on my tablet, and there are many duplicates. The option to delete was not there, just a bunch of places to send the pictures to: Picassa, Gmail, email, etc.
Go to Settings > Applications>Manage Applications > All, and scroll down to find Gallery. Tap to open it up, do a Force Stop first, if open. Then tap Clear Data. I only had 12 pictures on my tablet at this point so I emailed them all to myself, in the event they went poof. Then I held my breath, hit Clear Data, then went in and looked at my Gallery. The downloaded data was gone, all 490+ pictures, and the best part is, my pictures were still there! Those, I can delete from the Xoom, no problem.
Next, I went back into my Gallery, and to my dismay, right before my eyes, those 490+ pictures that were gone, began reloading back into my gallery! Where are they coming from?!?! 21 of them say Blogger Photos, and 459 are entitled "Stella's Blog". I don't have either app on my tablet, I can access either blog by using my browser, and have only done so a couple times. Next, I rebooted the tablet, went back to check the Gallery, and yes, the images were gone, but then they came right back again....where are they coming from and how do I get rid of them permanently?

However, less than half of my Gallery pictures made it over. Because the Gallery is a stock app and not in the marketplace it is not on the the above market transfer desktop application.I also have astro and estrong on my device.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just done a resync of my contacts from Outlook to Goggle. I have done everything I could to find why the Razr doesn't show (or has combined) some of my contacts. I use Outlook (2003), used gsyncit to get all of my contacts to Goggle (deleted all previous contacts). My Outlook shows 1436 contacts. My Google (google.com/contacts) shows 1436. I have a table (Toshiba) and the contacts in it (showing only the google contacts) is also 1,436. BUT, the Razr did show 1434 on the initial sync, now shows 1,433 contacts. Another contact "lost" on the cell phone when the tablet and google on the web all showing the same number as Outlook
View 3 Replies View RelatedI removed/uninstalled the stock gallery app. Even though I have google photo installed, I got an error message when I try to access gallery by clicking the gallery icon in the samsung stock camera app. I also could not set the wallpaper for the lock screen, as when I click the gallery icon in the setting screen, it gave me similar error message saying "app not installed". How I could restore the stock gallery app, or change the default app to google photo (preferred option).
