Mar 14, 2012I have the verizon's iphone 4 and I just downloaded the latest 5.1 ios update and now the camera software does not have the edit options for the pictures... crop and so on. Is there a way to bring up the edit tools?

May 12, 2011I recently upgraded my defy (with optus) to android 2.2 and haven't had many issues.
One thing that bugs me is when i take images with my camera now, they don't appear in the gallery. The small diplay on the bottom left displays the image but as soon as i click on it to view the image it appears to delete it.

Feb 15, 2015I own a Samsung Galaxy S-5, and after a Samsung software update (performed on February 13, 2015) all of my pictures in my Gallery under my camera tab have disappeared. I called Samsung and they had me search the phone in several places to look for the pictures with no luck. Has anyone lost pictures after an update? How to find my photos? I did not have auto-back up on, but I do now.

Aug 31, 2011i have updated my n8 to anna with all the required files. but after update i noticed that the gallery only shows the images that i have clicked with camera not other pics in the pictures folder. when i later moved those pics from pictures folder to camera folder i was able to see them in gallery. now this isnt convenient.

Aug 17, 2015I removed/uninstalled the stock gallery app. Even though I have google photo installed, I got an error message when I try to access gallery by clicking the gallery icon in the samsung stock camera app. I also could not set the wallpaper for the lock screen, as when I click the gallery icon in the setting screen, it gave me similar error message saying "app not installed". How I could restore the stock gallery app, or change the default app to google photo (preferred option).

Jul 28, 2011Before the update, my gallery used to be able to sort by folders that I organized through computer. However, after the update it seems like the gallery put all my pictures in the same folder and can only be sorted by date, name, etc but not by folders.

May 11, 2013First log in to facebook and also the facebook app. Once your logged in go to settings/apps/facebook and disable the app, go back to the gallery and remove facebook. You will now see facebook pictures removed. Go back to settings and apps and enable facebook app once again. Open the app and you should be logged in and go to gallery and you shall not see facebook pictures!

If I make a shot with teh camera, the folder of this month will be found and all pictures inside will be shown. After deleting this new image, the content of the folder is no longer present. Jan 10, 2012the gallery app which was included isn't showing any pictures, which is extremly annoying, because many apps, like facebook apps, just show a black screen when I select "upload from gallery" If I open up the Gallery app the screen is just black and no pictures are displayed, only the exit and option buttons. Same problem is with the video app... I've already reseted it three times, but still no change.... And the crazy thing is, that with the photo browser app I'm able to see the pictures... Also there's a problem with switching the ring and alarm-tone. Exactly the same thing, I Do have music on my phone and the player is working... But I can't choose another tone for alarmtone, won't open fricking folder.

Jan 27, 2015I do have a question about the pictures in my gallery, though. I used the camera for the first time this morning to take a picture of my kids before school. Once I took the picture and swiped over to view it in the gallery I was given some message about a better shot being available...or something to that effect. I just clicked 'ok' quickly because I was running late and didn't have time to pay attention to it.
I now have 2 pictures with the same file name, but one of them has _TOP at the end of the name. I thought it might have something to do with Google's auto-enhance feature since I have my pics auto-upload to Google, but only one of the pictures shows up in Google+ on the web, and in the Motorola Gallery. They both show up in the Photos app on my phone, and they both show up in OneDrive since I have them auto-upload there, too. Is it some sort of 'best shot' feature the camera is using? Google+? Photos app?
