i completely have no idea what happened to my blackberry!i cannot view pictures, only if i turn them over, but when i turn them back again i cannot see them, again!photo and images just don't appear on the screen, the sceen goes black if i use the gallery for pictures.
View 1 RepliesDo you have sometimes when looking between photos you get a black screen even though there should be a photo there in place and by going to the icon preview screen back to the photo it comes back up? It's happened to me even after restoring.

View 27 Replies View Relatedtried installing the ms apps using a third party app since i saw it worked on other people's phones and i thought i would give it a shot i was wrong for about 3-4 days i've been scouring the internet trying to find a solution to the Home screen:feature not supported bug or whatever it is, but to no avail. I am starting to become a bit desperate as the gallery simply will not work no matter what i do, .jpgs wont open, and my phone has been handicapped in the most literal sense of the word. Also i've tried hard resetting twice but to no result. I've considered hacking the phone and installing a custom firmware but i didnt want to destroy the phone completely, and also waiting for the feature pack might take too long for me.

On the left side of my screen its a black "cloud" that appears. When I look into my camera lens, it looks as if the framing that protects the lens from the BlackBerry's shell has fallen and is in the way of the lens, creating that "cloud".
I bought my first phone brand new from Rogers and literally maybe 2 days after my 30 day warranty this happened. I got Rogers to send me a refurbished phone (which by the way had some scuffs in it) and within a few months, this happened again.
Does anyone know if Rogers or BlackBerry will fix this for me? If not does anyone know how much it costs?
I have the samsung s6 edge and I keep finding random black/blank images saved in my gallery. There are are usually about 10-20 each day. At first i thought it might be a security feature that takes a photo when someone attempts to unlock the phone using the fingerprint scan but i tested this and it didn't work. I'm not sure why this is happening and i cant find any other mentions on this issue online.

It was working fine, until one day the screen started flickering, and then just went all black... now it still turns on, everything turns on, and yet the screen does not... it remains black for the longest time till whenever it decides to show up itself. When I try to turn the device on the keys lig up but nothing else. I have put it on charge and the power light turned green aagain tried to power up however nothing. All of a sudden, a small black patch appeared on the bottom left side of the screen.It seemed the pixels stopped working at that portion, leadig to a blackout. However, after a couple of days the screen was working fine again. It worked properly for a good 1-1.5 months. Now, the black spot re-appeared but this time on the top left side of the screen.

I waited 15 mins and it still didnt do anything, so I pulled the battery out but it didnt work.The screen is working, as I can still see the dead pixel that was there beforehand, however it just black, with the one dead pixel.I tried downgrading it after the the firmware below (I'm not sure what it was originally on) but that didnt work either.
