i have updated my n8 to anna with all the required files. but after update i noticed that the gallery only shows the images that i have clicked with camera not other pics in the pictures folder. when i later moved those pics from pictures folder to camera folder i was able to see them in gallery. now this isnt convenient.

On my N8 (Anna), I can see all the photos taken with the phone in the default photo viewer. But under Window Explorer, some can be seen but many are missing. So where are they?

When I reboot, the phone claims it is scanning for new media, but the photos don't show up.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI use my Nokia phone camera a lot like taking pictures of furnitures, tools, appliances, and other items that I want to know the dimensions (measurements in inches or metric) of to study the pictured items at home. Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.
View 3 Replies View RelatedCamera has been working fine before Anna update pack 1/2. Now it doesn't geotag all photos automatically. Some photos are geotagged and some are missing information. Very annoying! If I put Maps application on at the same time, camera geotags photos fine, but not without Nokia Maps. Not very handy open two applications. On camera interface geotag icon can show missing location info, but it still geotags photos.

I updated my mobile to Anna last week, but after update front camera is not working, even I cannot make video calls as other person cannot see me.mAlso log entries do not show entries for GPRS/WiFi connections. I took mobile to Nokia Care but even they could not be able to detect or solve my problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedLast week I noticed that all my photos and videos have are missing from gallery and i thought I might have deleted them accidentally, but discovered tht after taking a picture they go missing withing a short time, A carefull search with OVI suite and my PC revealed tht all the videos and photos are still in the E;mass memory but for some reason I cant access them from my phone.
I also noticed tht there seem to be a problem with the E:mass memory when I access it through file manager. I cannot access any of my folders saved in the E: memory.
Just today bought Nokia N8, updated to Symbian Belle and tried to open gallery but it only shows black screen and nothing works, i tried open pictures by file manager but it won't open...

I do not remember what I did (I think rearranged the files on my memory card) but somehow I got pictures & videos to show up under PhotosNow that I have upgraded to Belle, once again only photos shows up in Gallery. Anyone know how to get videos to show up there as well? I do not like how the previews are so small in Videos & all the detailed info is unnecessary when I am browsing

View 1 Replies View Relatedtried installing the ms apps using a third party app since i saw it worked on other people's phones and i thought i would give it a shot i was wrong for about 3-4 days i've been scouring the internet trying to find a solution to the Home screen:feature not supported bug or whatever it is, but to no avail. I am starting to become a bit desperate as the gallery simply will not work no matter what i do, .jpgs wont open, and my phone has been handicapped in the most literal sense of the word. Also i've tried hard resetting twice but to no result. I've considered hacking the phone and installing a custom firmware but i didnt want to destroy the phone completely, and also waiting for the feature pack might take too long for me.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently encountered issues with the photo gallery and the media player on my nokia n900 where all the photos, music and videos are not detected by them. If I were to browse to them via file manager, I can find what I'm looking for but if I go into "photos" in the main menu, it just displays "(no images)" (there are images on the phone) and in Media Player (main menu again) it just shows all 4 icons but shows "(no songs)" or "(no videos)" under music, video and shuffle all songs (again, there is music and videos on the phone). Internet radios still show 48 stations.
If I were to use file manager to open images, music or videos, they run normally as if their programs can detect them but they are still undetectable when gone into "photos" and "media player". Even with music, if I play it via file manager, hit back to go to the media player menu (with the 4 icons), it still shows no songs or videos, despite it playing one!Can anybody help me resolve this?Firmware version = 3.2010.02-8.203.1 (recently reflashed, issue was not occuring when I had the latest vodafone uk firmware version, forgot it's version number)Edit:Forgot to add, this happened gradually. These did work at first after the reflash, photo gallery went a week ago the media player stopped working today.

I have recently got a C3-01 phone. I saved some photos of my baby son to the My Albums folder. I then deleted the photos from "Photos" on the display. However, it deleted the ones I had saved in the newly created album. These are now lost, which was very upsetting for me and my wife. However, when I go to 'gallery' on my phone (with the memory card inside), these files can still be seen - i.e., their names and sizes (but not the images).
