My E71 has been acting a bit strange since I installed this one specific app. I since have removed the app. Now a number of things have disappeared such as all of my photos. However, my memory card still show that is being occupied with the same amount of Data 4.97 GB of the near 8 GB. Is it possible that these photos can still be accessed somehow?

Usually, such files are accessible by plugging it to a computer, with the phone either set to PC Suite or Mass Storage Mode.That was before. Now I can't. I've just noticed it just a week ago or so, and this problem still continues until now.I'm not sure what caused this, and I didn't have this problem before. I'm not sure either if this problem was caused by my recent update to Nokia Belle.Old photos and videos taken are completely accessible but the new ones I've recently captured are not accessible via PC Suite or Mass Storage Mode. It does not show in my PC or my laptop (both runs on Windows 7). The photos and videos are only accessible in the phone itself. The only way for me to transfer recently taken photos and videos is by sending it via Bluetooth to my laptop, which is very time consuming.

When I reboot, the phone claims it is scanning for new media, but the photos don't show up.

When I receive a photo text from someone. the following message keeps saying "Uknown network error" and I cannot view it at all, I have tried to retrieve it, but wont do it. Also I cant send photos, which is rubbish. My phone lets me take photos and they get stored no problem.

Unfortunately, they have not been backed up and its just typical that I was only recently planning to upload them onto my laptop.
Is there any way I can retrieve them? By maybe using a file recovery software or from the phone itself.
I have recently got a C3-01 phone. I saved some photos of my baby son to the My Albums folder. I then deleted the photos from "Photos" on the display. However, it deleted the ones I had saved in the newly created album. These are now lost, which was very upsetting for me and my wife. Am I doing something wrong or are you not able to manage your photos in this way?

However, when I go to 'gallery' on my phone (with the memory card inside), these files can still be seen - i.e., their names and sizes (but not the images). View 3 Replies View RelatedBefore I did importing (from iPhone to computer), everything was fine - all photos/videos were right there on my iPhone. I simply used "cut" - "paste" from Windows File Explorer, and then I found that all the photos and videos after certain date were all gone. They are not in the iPhone, neither in my computer. Luckily all the recent photos are automatically kept in "Photo Stream", so I managed to save them all to the "Camera Roll" and then I could still import them to the computer. However "Photo Stream" does not save the videos, so now looks like I lost those precious videos forever!!  There is another weird thing: after importing, some video files still remained on my iPhone which are unplayable, and the notification said "the requested URL was not found on this server". To ensure I don't lose anything, I still moved them to the computer. And the result is predictable: those video files cannot be played on the computer either, regardless by which player I am trying. I think I am not the only one here. I see another post iPhone 5 some photos and videos disappeared from a particular photo onwards and three videos left are not able to be played and are saved as 0:00 files but I cannot reply.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Anna I could find pictures in file management in order to move/copy them to memory stick, but that seems to be not possible in Belle. Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.

Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.
