From the third day i bought my xperia neo v i started having the problem i thought it was because i installed a third party application but i deleted it and the it continued till i did a factory reset and it stopped for two days and it happened
View 3 RepliesYesterday I recorded a video and then when I tired to watch it, it wouldn't let me. The gallery app would freeze or it would come up blank. So I tired the video app and it played for like 2 seconds and freeze as well. I cleared the cache, forced the app to stop and I turned it off a bunch of times and still nothing.

View 4 Replies View RelatedNokia N8 -- Belle Since updating to Belle, all my old videos I have filmed refuse to appear in teh normal Gallery. Any new videos I record go into teh Gallery as normal. Is there anyway to force teh gallery to rescan memory to fidn teh videos? It was fantastic having the videos and pictures in the same place sorted by date taken. Now it's just plain horrible. I thought about "syncing" the videos, backed up to my PC, to the phone using Nokia Suite, in the hope they would then appear in the Gallery, however it seems to insist on "transcoding" the videos! (Even though they were originally recorded on this phone!)
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my DX, whenever I went to the Gallery, I was presented with the folders on my SD card that contained photos and videos. One folder I had was called "Wallpapers". On the DX2, all photos and videos get lumped together and there is no way of navigating to the folder that contains the photos or videos you want to see or play.I understand that there is a way to "group" photos and videos by day, week, or month. Fine. But why not also let you group them by the folders they are in on your SD card?If you click on "My library" and then click on the "My Library: Timeline" drop-down button at the top of the screen, you get a popup that shows you can view your "My library" by Albums, Locations, Tags, and Timeline. Again, why not also include the folders that they are in on your SD card? I was hoping that was what viewing your library by "Albums" would be, but that's not the case. When I click on that, I get two albums: "All videos" and "All photos". Not very convenient if you want to view a particular movie, video clip, or photo. I don't want to have to sort through a folder containing ALL of the videos or ALL of the photos.
Here's the problem as I see it in practice:Say you want to change your wallpaper. Okay, long-press on your home screen and select "Wallpapers". Now, select where you want to pull your wallpaper from. "Gallery". On my DX, it would take me to the Gallery and it would show separate folders for Camera, All Photos, and the folder I created for all of my wallpapers, called "Wallpapers". So then I could click on the "Wallpapers" folder and easily select the image I wanted as my wallpaper.ith the DX2, after long-pressing on your home screen and selecting "Wallpapers" and then "Gallery" as the source, it takes you straight to ALL of your pictures. I have more than 1,700 on my SD card so I don't want to scroll through all of them just to find the wallpaper images I saved that are mixed in with photos I took with my phone, downloaded images, etc. Sure, if you click on the Menu button and select "Group by", you can group all of the thousands of images by Day, Week, or Month, but again that doesn't help since who the heck knows when those wallpapers were created?
I have a relatively new Razr M. I have taken several pictures with it over the past 2 months with no problems. Starting a few days ago, I am having this problem: I'll be viewing photos in the gallery, and all of the sudden the photos go blank. There is just a gray square. I can flip from gray square to gray square -- no image shows. If I go back to the main gallery, it may or may not show pictures. There might just be gray squares, or all the pictures might be there. I have tried turning my phone off, then back on. The pictures will show up initially, but then when I start flipping through them, suddenly they turn to gray squares again. I have transferred the pictures to my computer, just to make sure they are saved somewhere. But can't figure out why they will show up and then turn to gray squares.

When I reboot, the phone claims it is scanning for new media, but the photos don't show up.

I do not remember what I did (I think rearranged the files on my memory card) but somehow I got pictures & videos to show up under PhotosNow that I have upgraded to Belle, once again only photos shows up in Gallery. Anyone know how to get videos to show up there as well? I do not like how the previews are so small in Videos & all the detailed info is unnecessary when I am browsing

View 4 Replies View Relatedtried installing the ms apps using a third party app since i saw it worked on other people's phones and i thought i would give it a shot i was wrong for about 3-4 days i've been scouring the internet trying to find a solution to the Home screen:feature not supported bug or whatever it is, but to no avail. I am starting to become a bit desperate as the gallery simply will not work no matter what i do, .jpgs wont open, and my phone has been handicapped in the most literal sense of the word. Also i've tried hard resetting twice but to no result. I've considered hacking the phone and installing a custom firmware but i didnt want to destroy the phone completely, and also waiting for the feature pack might take too long for me.
View 5 Replies View Relatedi have updated my n8 to anna with all the required files. but after update i noticed that the gallery only shows the images that i have clicked with camera not other pics in the pictures folder. when i later moved those pics from pictures folder to camera folder i was able to see them in gallery. now this isnt convenient.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI went to see Topgear live at the weekend. I recorded a few videos in 4k. After about the 3rd one I got the error up about camera over heating and would shut down if it continued to get hot, so I carried on recording until it did.
I then got the message that space was running low and would I like to transfer data to sd card, since I had a 64gb in I chose yes then closed my phone cover.
Then when I got home I went to show the missus the videos and nearly all my videos and pictures from February have gone. I've even tried a new memory card today to see if they come back.
I have some pictures and videos taken in my Sony Ericsson Neo V. But some of pictures and vedios cannot be viewed. This is strange that some are ok and some are not ok in the xperia gallery. A grey pic can be seen for which that cannot be viewed. If I download to a computer, It downloads. When I try to open in the computer, It says "Windows cannot open the file". I do not have now any clue to view those.
