View 15 Replies View RelatedI have problem with my X6-00 16GB primary camera. When I turn camera on, screen stays black, only this focusing white box and other symbols are visible on screen. But no picture. When I push "take picture button", then focusing box starts blinking and stays like this, until camera goes standby mode. Secondary camera, in front of the phone is working fine. Also I have a Flashlight program (Brightlight v1.0) on my phone and it doesn't turn camera flash on, like it should be.
I gave my phone to friend who reset phone to the factory settings. After that camera worked for a while, but one day it was again black. I have done a couple of times software reinstall with nokia ovi suite on my computer. After that camera works couple of days or only couple of hours and then goes black again. Software version is the newest for that phone, v32.0.002.
I have a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. I accidentally deleted all the pictures and videos from Gallery Images& Videos. Do you think that I can recover the phone pictures? Or someone could send me them?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the Belle update, I noticed that, videos I recorded with the camera, do not appear anymore in the list of videos in the Video application.The videos appear in the Gallery application with the pictures. I think this a bug with the Video application.

When I reboot, the phone claims it is scanning for new media, but the photos don't show up.

I do not remember what I did (I think rearranged the files on my memory card) but somehow I got pictures & videos to show up under PhotosNow that I have upgraded to Belle, once again only photos shows up in Gallery. Anyone know how to get videos to show up there as well? I do not like how the previews are so small in Videos & all the detailed info is unnecessary when I am browsing

At the same time I can't open any picture, it gives me "format not supported" message, as such my camera has been rendered useless since I can't view the pictures.
View 9 Replies View Relatedtried installing the ms apps using a third party app since i saw it worked on other people's phones and i thought i would give it a shot i was wrong for about 3-4 days i've been scouring the internet trying to find a solution to the Home screen:feature not supported bug or whatever it is, but to no avail. I am starting to become a bit desperate as the gallery simply will not work no matter what i do, .jpgs wont open, and my phone has been handicapped in the most literal sense of the word. Also i've tried hard resetting twice but to no result. I've considered hacking the phone and installing a custom firmware but i didnt want to destroy the phone completely, and also waiting for the feature pack might take too long for me.
View 5 Replies View Relatedi have updated my n8 to anna with all the required files. but after update i noticed that the gallery only shows the images that i have clicked with camera not other pics in the pictures folder. when i later moved those pics from pictures folder to camera folder i was able to see them in gallery. now this isnt convenient.

Since Belle photos are in one folder and videos in another. If I want to share these by plugging into tv instead of clicking slide show I have to play each video and pict separate. Also is there a setting for how many sec the pic stays before switching to new one. My pictures have like a good 5 to 7 sec before switching to next photo.....seems too long. ultimately I would like to have my videos and pics all in one area so I can play them all at once

There is no way of deleting a video clip. The same is true for the >Recorder. Once a recording has been made and saved, there is no option to delete it at a later stage.

Which container/bitrate/frame rate/aspect ratio would give those results? I know the resolution of the phone is 640x360 but any clips at that resolution are unable to play. View 19 Replies View Related[n79, latest firmware, 16 or 32 GB memory card]When I capture video to the memory card, I periodically get stutters or lags, typically during which the video capture appears to freeze. The sound recording sometimes continues in time, sometimes also breaks for a fraction of second. I have already backed up the card to a PC and reformatted the card in the phone (assuming that the phone would set up the card in a manner best suited to the device). The problem persists, although slightly less often.
Would it have been better to reformat the cards on a PC? If so, better to use a 16kb or 32kb "allocation unit size"? Neither of my cards as more than 1/3 full, so there is plenty of space. I am recording video at the phone's best quality, which is 640x480, 30 fps, and a typical bitrate seems to be about .5 MB per second. I checked out both cards using the utilty "Flash Memory Toolkit", and the minimum data file write rates seem to be about 6-10 MB per second (often 10 MB), so I don't think that the bottleneck is the card itself. Perhaps the drivers used to write to the card memory on the phone are not as efficient as they should be. Or maybe for some reason I have to stick with an 8 GB card or smaller?
I have just bought a new C3-01 but the video camera only records for 5 seconds then stops. how to change this to continuous? Nothing in the book, only press to start and press to stop!
