View 1 Replies View RelatedJust brought a new Nokia X6 for my wife and I have an odd problem.I can start the music player from the home screen and skip forward and backwards a track with no problems. But I can't adjust the volume. If I start playing music from the home screen and it's too loud or quiet, I have to open the music player itself before I can change the volume. This seems very odd to me, and I have googled it and looked all the way through the forums here for the X6 and no one else has mentioned it. Does that mean it's only me having this trouble? Or does everyone else not use the music player from the home screen?
Also, I noticed that I cant fast forward and rewind a track from the home screen. If I hold my finger on the Foward button for an extended period of time, the track continues playing as normal and then ether skips to the next one when I take my finger off, or all the player buttons disapear from the home screen when I take my finger off.Again, if I do this in the music player itself, the track will fast forward or rewind after a second or two holding the 'button' down. Anyone else tried this?
the media player's fast forward/rewind option is too slow.its like it forwards/rewinds @ 1sec per scroll. this is really annoying while listening to lengthy songs or other audio?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen watching avi and mkv when I select to play another part of the movie the sound does not come back. I only get the video with no sound. The files are large from 700 MB to 4500 MB. Sometimes the sound comes several seconds (sometimes aprox. 10). Some files I get points of the movie that the video pauses itself. I have to fast forward a few seconds to get the movie to continue playing. I have a Nokia E7 with Belle. Are this issues normal to Belle or are caused by a bad update from Anna?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy C5-00 will not allow me to open up the camera or video mode all of a sudden. All other applications are running fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with continuous playback of video, Before with Anna I couuld go into gallary and my pictures and video were all in same place, in proper order. Since Belle photos are in one folder and videos in another. If I want to share these by plugging into tv instead of clicking slide show I have to play each video and pict separate. Also is there a setting for how many sec the pic stays before switching to new one. My pictures have like a good 5 to 7 sec before switching to next photo.....seems too long. ultimately I would like to have my videos and pics all in one area so I can play them all at once

View 1 Replies View Relatedhow to delete a video clip (after it's been saved). The manual claims that there is an >Edit. function under the >Options tab. But there ISN'T! There is no way of deleting a video clip. The same is true for the >Recorder. Once a recording has been made and saved, there is no option to delete it at a later stage.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to convert a few video clips to play back on my 5230 at the highest possible quality settings. Which container/bitrate/frame rate/aspect ratio would give those results? I know the resolution of the phone is 640x360 but any clips at that resolution are unable to play. I'm experimenting with combinations at the minute but it would be a lot quicker if I could just get a definite answer.Official playback specs are 640x360/??/30fps/?? but no mention of ideal bitrate, aspect ratio or container, ie MP4/3gp etc etc.

View 1 Replies View Related[n79, latest firmware, 16 or 32 GB memory card]When I capture video to the memory card, I periodically get stutters or lags, typically during which the video capture appears to freeze. The sound recording sometimes continues in time, sometimes also breaks for a fraction of second. I have already backed up the card to a PC and reformatted the card in the phone (assuming that the phone would set up the card in a manner best suited to the device). The problem persists, although slightly less often.
Would it have been better to reformat the cards on a PC? If so, better to use a 16kb or 32kb "allocation unit size"? Neither of my cards as more than 1/3 full, so there is plenty of space. I am recording video at the phone's best quality, which is 640x480, 30 fps, and a typical bitrate seems to be about .5 MB per second. I checked out both cards using the utilty "Flash Memory Toolkit", and the minimum data file write rates seem to be about 6-10 MB per second (often 10 MB), so I don't think that the bottleneck is the card itself. Perhaps the drivers used to write to the card memory on the phone are not as efficient as they should be. Or maybe for some reason I have to stick with an 8 GB card or smaller?
I have just bought a new C3-01 but the video camera only records for 5 seconds then stops. how to change this to continuous? Nothing in the book, only press to start and press to stop!
