Everything in my phone is missing. I accidentally lost all data after disconnecting from computer and how do i retrieve them back? Since then, whatever pictures i took doesnt appear in Gallery and all my PDF documents are still missing and movies that I've downloaded too. How? Ive tried restoring. Still nothing.But when i back up my phone using Nokia Link, the items i cant find on my phone are all backed-up.

View 2 Replies View RelatedNokia N8 -- Belle Since updating to Belle, all my old videos I have filmed refuse to appear in teh normal Gallery. Any new videos I record go into teh Gallery as normal. Is there anyway to force teh gallery to rescan memory to fidn teh videos? It was fantastic having the videos and pictures in the same place sorted by date taken. Now it's just plain horrible. I thought about "syncing" the videos, backed up to my PC, to the phone using Nokia Suite, in the hope they would then appear in the Gallery, however it seems to insist on "transcoding" the videos! (Even though they were originally recorded on this phone!)
View 2 Replies View RelatedLast week I noticed that all my photos and videos have are missing from gallery and i thought I might have deleted them accidentally, but discovered tht after taking a picture they go missing withing a short time, A carefull search with OVI suite and my PC revealed tht all the videos and photos are still in the E;mass memory but for some reason I cant access them from my phone.
I also noticed tht there seem to be a problem with the E:mass memory when I access it through file manager. I cannot access any of my folders saved in the E: memory.
My camera will allow me to take a picture, and the image appears in the preview circle. When I click the preview circle, I get an error of a picture with a triangle and exclamation point.
Troubleshooting performed so far:
Reboot
Deleted System Cache from holding power and down volume from powered off device
Went to Settings > General > apps > All > Camera (and Gallery), and cleared Cache and Cleared Data
Went to Setting > General > Storage > clicked on Cached data, and cleared
When i download something it never finish downloading,can't view my photos and videos and it just says general error

View 14 Replies View Relatedi have updated my n8 to anna with all the required files. but after update i noticed that the gallery only shows the images that i have clicked with camera not other pics in the pictures folder. when i later moved those pics from pictures folder to camera folder i was able to see them in gallery. now this isnt convenient.
View 11 Replies View RelatedOn my DX, whenever I went to the Gallery, I was presented with the folders on my SD card that contained photos and videos. One folder I had was called "Wallpapers". On the DX2, all photos and videos get lumped together and there is no way of navigating to the folder that contains the photos or videos you want to see or play.I understand that there is a way to "group" photos and videos by day, week, or month. Fine. But why not also let you group them by the folders they are in on your SD card?If you click on "My library" and then click on the "My Library: Timeline" drop-down button at the top of the screen, you get a popup that shows you can view your "My library" by Albums, Locations, Tags, and Timeline. Again, why not also include the folders that they are in on your SD card? I was hoping that was what viewing your library by "Albums" would be, but that's not the case. When I click on that, I get two albums: "All videos" and "All photos". Not very convenient if you want to view a particular movie, video clip, or photo. I don't want to have to sort through a folder containing ALL of the videos or ALL of the photos.
Here's the problem as I see it in practice:Say you want to change your wallpaper. Okay, long-press on your home screen and select "Wallpapers". Now, select where you want to pull your wallpaper from. "Gallery". On my DX, it would take me to the Gallery and it would show separate folders for Camera, All Photos, and the folder I created for all of my wallpapers, called "Wallpapers". So then I could click on the "Wallpapers" folder and easily select the image I wanted as my wallpaper.ith the DX2, after long-pressing on your home screen and selecting "Wallpapers" and then "Gallery" as the source, it takes you straight to ALL of your pictures. I have more than 1,700 on my SD card so I don't want to scroll through all of them just to find the wallpaper images I saved that are mixed in with photos I took with my phone, downloaded images, etc. Sure, if you click on the Menu button and select "Group by", you can group all of the thousands of images by Day, Week, or Month, but again that doesn't help since who the heck knows when those wallpapers were created?
Have an issue on certain photos taken on camera. The picture is at first fine, then suddenly a grey box appears over the photo. The preview pic on the bottom shows the full pic but when you look at the full photo the grey box appears. When you flip through the photo, the full photo appears very quickly then the grey box appears.
View 24 Replies View RelatedCamera has been working fine before Anna update pack 1/2. Now it doesn't geotag all photos automatically. Some photos are geotagged and some are missing information. Very annoying! If I put Maps application on at the same time, camera geotags photos fine, but not without Nokia Maps. Not very handy open two applications. On camera interface geotag icon can show missing location info, but it still geotags photos.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my nokia n86, when I go to Photos > Captured photos and I "travel" by the months that the pictures were taken, for some pictures, the preview image is completely different than the actual image! For example, I browse the phone for some the pictures taken in september 2011.
Then, when I choose one and try to use it, or even if I enlarge the picture I chose, I find out that the preview is plain wrong. This bug is for most of the pictures I took. This is really annoying - I can't find pics I took and use them. I must move them all to the computer. Also restart wont fix it. And I tried to update the software but it is the latest.
My problem started two days ago. When I open the Camera APP the first frame the app "sees" is displayed but no live view. If I hit the shutter it snaps a picture "normally" and I can also shoot video and see the images moving while doing so. The problem is occurring on both front and back cameras and also with 3rd party camera apps! I did reboot a few times without any changes...
Right now I'm waiting for update 4.2.2 to see if it works!
my camera isnt working... I'm able to view all of my past photos and videos fine. But when it comes to take new ones i'm unable to do so. When I launch the camera app it stays stuck on a closed shutter; when I press the camera button to snap a new photo/vid nothing happens... it just stays on this lovely screen.

I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.1 with a really strange issue that has persisted even through a full reset. I've found similar threads but I've never found a thread where an issue is throughout the phone such as mine is. At one point I was able to somewhat fix everything but the Camera roll issues but in just a couple of weeks the other problems have all returned. The way I fixed this a few weeks ago was by throwing a hail Mary and deleting Instagram. As soon as I did that, the camera returned to normal even after re-installing it. I removed every Camera app and any apps that use the camera on my phone but this time nothing has fixed the issue. I've also performed a factory reset and restored nothing, re-configuring and installing all software again manually but this issue is still persisting.Â
The first noticeable symptom was my on my camera roll where images would appear like they were black or had some sort of dark filter over them. Many people have had similar issues and there is almost never a resolution on ANY of these threads.As you can see, while the preview is dark, the actual picture is fine. This means it's most likely not anything to do with the hardware side of the camera.Â
Inside the Apple Camera.App the view is also dark, as if there is some sort of dark filter on the camera. But if I apply a filter, the display looks "normal". As you can see below the, on the right with a filter applied the display is as expected. Other camera apps (Instragram, Camera+, MagiCam) have the same issue, but without the ability to set a filter like in the Apple app, the camera remains unusable in those applications.Â
This isn't all though, as we continue down the rabbit hole, the plot thickens. Even displaying photos in full-screen in other apps has that same dark filter look to it:Â This screenshot is taken inside Tweetbot. And as shown below, a similar issue with Music.app displaying Album covers. And while I don't have a screenshot for it off-hand, I've had the same issue watching video in full-screen in the YouTube app.Â
I just discovered that since the last 2 weeks photos I take no longer appear in any of the media image galleries - to find a photo I need to go into the Office folder and use the file manager. It seems that the problem may have coincided with me removing the memory card - hopefully not coinciding with firmware update! Is there a way to reset the image gallery to show all captured images?

I have copied a load of songs and pictures from Windows to my E6 microSD card.The songs are working nicely, no problem there (= SD card working properly).The photos don't appear in the gallery/photo browser. When I reboot, the phone claims it is scanning for new media, but the photos don't show up.

View 2 Replies View RelatedNokia 808 Belle FP2's gallery is still crippled. There is no way to organize photos into folders or tag them in any useful manner. And there no possibility to select multiple items for sharing etc. Gallery cannot zoom images that are downloaded to the phone from other sources no matter how big these images are.
None of these limitations were present in Symbian Anna, so this is a major drawback and downgrade in terms of features even this 808 shoud be Nokias's current flag ship phone on photography domain.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere used to be an option whereby you could print photos via usb cable to a printer. This option has been removed - was there a reason for this, or is it a bug? It would be great if the developers could issue a small update that would address this problem. My phone (N8) has a fantastic camera and not being able to print photos from it is very disappointing. I know there is a workaround by transferrring photos to a computer first and then printing from there, but that is a hassle and shouldn't be necessary.
