I just discovered that since the last 2 weeks photos I take no longer appear in any of the media image galleries - to find a photo I need to go into the Office folder and use the file manager. It seems that the problem may have coincided with me removing the memory card - hopefully not coinciding with firmware update! Is there a way to reset the image gallery to show all captured images?

I recently had to do a factory reset for a different issue and now I don't see my Google photos in the Gallery. When I originally set up the phone they appeared automatically.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just got a simple question: is it possible to choose the images folder(s) which are shown in photobrowser or image gallery on a n97 mini?now it shows all the images on my device/mass storage/sdhc card, and I don't want that to happen. I want to be able to choose the folders which are shown. now it also shows all icons of my pois inthere, so i've got over 400 images (all images which are used by programs) while there are only about 50 files in the images folder.now i have to scroll through 350 images which i don't need, just to find 1 photo i want to use as a background.hoping that there will be a software update which allows for changing these settings, so that it only shows the folders I want to use.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI deleted images directly from the images folder via my PC, and now have loads of broken image icons (1577 of them) which are presumably there because somewhere there's a file or database referencing the original image names.I can't restore them from anywhere because they're deleted, so some of the fixes I've found on the forums don't work. I've tried deleting files from within the private folder as well, as per another forum post, and that didn't work either. I tried resetting to factory settings, but that didn't help.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my nokia n86, when I go to Photos > Captured photos and I "travel" by the months that the pictures were taken, for some pictures, the preview image is completely different than the actual image! For example, I browse the phone for some the pictures taken in september 2011.
Then, when I choose one and try to use it, or even if I enlarge the picture I chose, I find out that the preview is plain wrong. This bug is for most of the pictures I took. This is really annoying - I can't find pics I took and use them. I must move them all to the computer. Also restart wont fix it. And I tried to update the software but it is the latest.
I replaced the original memory card on my E5 with a new, larger one. All OK, except I lost the media gallery preloaded on the first card, of which the pictures were the most important. Problem is I used that card on another phone and formatted it since, so I can't recover the files from there.Is there any way to download that gallery anywhere? If not, I would be very grateful to any kind soul who could create an archive from his or her phone and post it somewhere for me to get to.
View 1 Replies View RelatedLast week I noticed that all my photos and videos have are missing from gallery and i thought I might have deleted them accidentally, but discovered tht after taking a picture they go missing withing a short time, A carefull search with OVI suite and my PC revealed tht all the videos and photos are still in the E;mass memory but for some reason I cant access them from my phone.
I also noticed tht there seem to be a problem with the E:mass memory when I access it through file manager. I cannot access any of my folders saved in the E: memory.
I have copied a load of songs and pictures from Windows to my E6 microSD card.The songs are working nicely, no problem there (= SD card working properly).The photos don't appear in the gallery/photo browser. When I reboot, the phone claims it is scanning for new media, but the photos don't show up.

I have to turn my phone off a few times or dismount the memory card a few times. And then they come back including the new picture. How do I avoid this. View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently encountered issues with the photo gallery and the media player on my nokia n900 where all the photos, music and videos are not detected by them. If I were to browse to them via file manager, I can find what I'm looking for but if I go into "photos" in the main menu, it just displays "(no images)" (there are images on the phone) and in Media Player (main menu again) it just shows all 4 icons but shows "(no songs)" or "(no videos)" under music, video and shuffle all songs (again, there is music and videos on the phone). Internet radios still show 48 stations.
If I were to use file manager to open images, music or videos, they run normally as if their programs can detect them but they are still undetectable when gone into "photos" and "media player". Even with music, if I play it via file manager, hit back to go to the media player menu (with the 4 icons), it still shows no songs or videos, despite it playing one!Can anybody help me resolve this?Firmware version = 3.2010.02-8.203.1 (recently reflashed, issue was not occuring when I had the latest vodafone uk firmware version, forgot it's version number)Edit:Forgot to add, this happened gradually. These did work at first after the reflash, photo gallery went a week ago the media player stopped working today.
i have updated my n8 to anna with all the required files. but after update i noticed that the gallery only shows the images that i have clicked with camera not other pics in the pictures folder. when i later moved those pics from pictures folder to camera folder i was able to see them in gallery. now this isnt convenient.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy camera will allow me to take a picture, and the image appears in the preview circle. When I click the preview circle, I get an error of a picture with a triangle and exclamation point.
Troubleshooting performed so far:
Reboot
Deleted System Cache from holding power and down volume from powered off device
Went to Settings > General > apps > All > Camera (and Gallery), and cleared Cache and Cleared Data
Went to Setting > General > Storage > clicked on Cached data, and cleared
I did restore to the defaults on my HTC One and after the reset, the photos which I uploaded to Dropbox don't appear at the Dropbox tab in the Gallery of my HTC One. When I click on the Dropbox tab at the Gallery of my phone it appears: "This user has no album to show" the same happens and on Google Drive. Before the reset everything was normal.

Once I have moved a photo from the camera roll to another album I want to delete the image from the main camera roll album. If I try to delete I get a message that this image will be deleted from all albums. I want to just delete from camera roll. Is this possible?

I lost my hundreds of precious photos taken during my vacation during the import process using Image Capture. Â
I took hundreds of photos in my iphone 5s during my vacation. I came back and haven't started the iphone backup yet which was my first mistake. I then used Image Capture in my MacBook Pro to transfer the photos from 5s camera roll to a folder in my macbook. I checked the option "Delete After Import" which was my second mistake!Â
During the transfer, it successfully transferred some of the photos but over half of them were not. There was errors after the import process so those error out pictures were not found neither in my Macbook nor in my iphone.Â
I tried different recovery tool to scan my iphone or my macbook but still no luck.Â

View 2 Replies View RelatedI took over 30 photo's and 30 minutes of video today at my sons awards at school. I had sync turned off, all programs, Google, Dropbox, etc. I haven't rooted my HTC One M8 yet, so there's no other back up program running. I created a album in my gallery and copied the photos and video over to the album, the first option that pops up is to store them in "phone storage" I hit phone storage before I realized what I'd done. I didn't move them, I copied them. I went to Google photos and hit sync, then went back to the phones gallery, I had 2 copies of the photos and video, one set in the album I created and the other copy was on the camera. I was in a hurry when I did all of this. Normally when I create a album I move the pictures, not copy.
I went to Google photos and saw all the pics and video uploading, went back to the gallery and deleted the copy under the camera setting. The album I created is gone as well. Is there any way at all possible to retrieve them or are they completely deleted? I've sat here and repeated the exact same process with photos that are already backed up on Google and when I delete them from the camera they still appear in the album I created on the phone itself. I've created albums several times in the past and hit "copy" instead of "move", then go back and delete the copy under from the camera. I have Root Explorer installed and can't find them anywhere, I hooked my phone to my laptop and with no luck. if there's any way at all to get these photos back. it just made me sick to my stomach when I saw that I'd deleted the pics.
