I have my gallery connected to my picasa account, however I can not seem to find the option to save an image from my online gallery to my phone. Is this possible? Am i just blind?

View 5 Replies View RelatedIf I open up Gallery I have the option of chosing my Motocast files on my pc. But if I'm in email and want to add an attachment, if I select Gallery it only shows me the pics on my phone - no option to select Motocast files. Is that the way it's supposed to be or do I need to change something. It sure would be nice to access those files for attachments.

Also pictures or video taken from Atrix camera looks grainy and negative-like patches in dark areas.Is this a common problem? Could it be because of display resolution of the phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since the ICS update, my gallery likes to not show the pictures that are on my phone. They were visible pre-ICS, but are now not. If I use a file manager I can see that they are still on my phone and even view them, but they refuse to pop up in my gallery. I have tried the unmounting and mounting of my SD card as I have seen people wiht similar problems do, but have had no success.
Is there a new folder that the pictures need to be moved to to be seen by the gallery app? I'm guessing no because they did occassionally show up after the update, but now won't at all. Still, worth asking.
I selected which folders I wanted to save into my gallery when having my phone plugged in but when I disconnected the photos were all in one folder jumbled?

View 3 Replies View RelatedBefore the update, my gallery used to be able to sort by folders that I organized through computer. However, after the update it seems like the gallery put all my pictures in the same folder and can only be sorted by date, name, etc but not by folders.
Is there a way to display in folders with the stock gallery? I think the new gallery update is so inconvenient!
If I assign a picture to a contact using the gallery i.e. pictures that I took and store on my SD card. Then I say delete the picture(s from the SD card do I lose the picture assigned to the contact? Or is the picture assigned to a contact 'special' and also resized and kept somewhere else?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently started having a problem in the Gallery when it comes adding pictures to albums. Whenever I try adding a picture to an album I get an error that says "Sorry - The application Gallery (process com.motorola.gallery) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." The only option I have is to force close, no report option. I have tried shutting down the phone and rebooting it and the problem is still occurring. I also have done a full system scan using the antivirus app, Lookout. No problems showed up on the scan. I have also done a hard reset (removing the battery)

I tried the router people (their "fixes" did not work), AT&T couldn't help, Motorola couldn't help and I even took my phone to Best Buy where I purchased it and their fix worked for a bit now I can't get it to work. There is a way to change the security settings and I can't get back there. Of course I found it by accident before and now I can't get back there. I am connected and can't use the browser. This is starting to tick me off!! I have had this phone 2 weeks and no solution to the problem. The thing is I can connect to my work WEP but not my home router.

On iphone it is possible to save a photo to your phone gallery off of a website such as facebook by holding the picture and an icon pops up asking if you want to save it. Is there something similiar on the atrix?

It seems that the problem may have coincided with me removing the memory card - hopefully not coinciding with firmware update! Is there a way to reset the image gallery to show all captured images?

All OK, except I lost the media gallery preloaded on the first card, of which the pictures were the most important. Problem is I used that card on another phone and formatted it since, so I can't recover the files from there.Is there any way to download that gallery anywhere? View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen having the camera save photos to the internal memory, or the SD card, then connecting the phone in MTP USB mode to get the files , the timestamps on the photos are incorrect. I'll take a picture at 5:00PM or something and the file is modified at 3AM etc.
I just took a photo saved to the SD card at 8:49AM and the timestamp is 3:49PM.
using latest firmware in my e55, i found out that the images which are taken horizontally (wide) is rotated "clockwise" ingallery when you want to view image vertical instead of horizontal which is not the desired. It must be rotated "anti-clockwise".

I have to turn my phone off a few times or dismount the memory card a few times. And then they come back including the new picture. How do I avoid this. I want to be able to choose the folders which are shown. now it also shows all icons of my pois inthere, so i've got over 400 images (all images which are used by programs) while there are only about 50 files in the images folder.now i have to scroll through 350 images which i don't need, just to find 1 photo i want to use as a background.hoping that there will be a software update which allows for changing these settings, so that it only shows the folders I want to use.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI deleted images directly from the images folder via my PC, and now have loads of broken image icons (1577 of them) which are presumably there because somewhere there's a file or database referencing the original image names.I can't restore them from anywhere because they're deleted, so some of the fixes I've found on the forums don't work. I've tried deleting files from within the private folder as well, as per another forum post, and that didn't work either. I tried resetting to factory settings, but that didn't help.
