Lost media files from internal storage. After complete discharge of my battery all pictures and video from gallery saved on internal storage were gone - is it possible to get them back (restore)?
View 9 RepliesEver since the ICS update, my gallery likes to not show the pictures that are on my phone. They were visible pre-ICS, but are now not. If I use a file manager I can see that they are still on my phone and even view them, but they refuse to pop up in my gallery. I have tried the unmounting and mounting of my SD card as I have seen people wiht similar problems do, but have had no success.
Is there a new folder that the pictures need to be moved to to be seen by the gallery app? I'm guessing no because they did occassionally show up after the update, but now won't at all. Still, worth asking.
Came to view my camera gallery yesterday & it's simply disappeared obviously along with my pictures. What might have happened??

Battery is getting discharged fully with in 12 hours. I tried changing the battery but the problem still exists. I took the phone to the concerned dealer who said that there is nothing wrong in phone and returned back the same. I am located in Kuwait in middle east.

It's been 3-4 months that I have brought iPhone5S. I am also facing overheating and bettery dranage issue with my iPhone5S. It's getting damm hot and restart it self. once my phone shutdown in this scenario, it never started till all of my bettery is not drained. After that I need to charge the bettery again and my phone is started. I have faced this issue twicely in last week.Â
If I am tying to start my iPhone during this situation then some weared screen shown on the iPhone. Sometime it shows apple logo with half yellow and white screen while sometimes it shows startup screen and then never started. My iPhone continuously being hotter untill my whole bettery is not discharged.Â

View 3 Replies View RelatedBefore the update, my gallery used to be able to sort by folders that I organized through computer. However, after the update it seems like the gallery put all my pictures in the same folder and can only be sorted by date, name, etc but not by folders.
Is there a way to display in folders with the stock gallery? I think the new gallery update is so inconvenient!
If I assign a picture to a contact using the gallery i.e. pictures that I took and store on my SD card. Then I say delete the picture(s from the SD card do I lose the picture assigned to the contact? Or is the picture assigned to a contact 'special' and also resized and kept somewhere else?

Whenever I try adding a picture to an album I get an error that says "Sorry - The application Gallery (process com.motorola.gallery) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." The only option I have is to force close, no report option. I have tried shutting down the phone and rebooting it and the problem is still occurring. I also have done a full system scan using the antivirus app, Lookout. No problems showed up on the scan. I have also done a hard reset (removing the battery)

When I use ES File Explorer or File Manager those apps cannot find these pictures on the internal storage or external card but those albums and photos are visible in Gallery. The file manager apps see some albums but not all of those visible in Gallery. The PC cannot see them either using Windows Explorer as it only sees the same albums which the Xoom file manager apps can see.

Duplicates of the original 500... Now the same folder contains 1500 photos, 3 copies of each of the original 500.. This is happening with all the gallery folders.. They all have 3 copies of each pic in each folder.This is the first Xoom released LTE-WI-FI model,Can anyone give me a reason why they keep multiplying like rabbits.. View 1 Replies View RelatedUp till now I had been playing with a non US 3.1 Xoom. I would stick video content (mainly avi files encoded as divx) in the Movies folder. Selecting the Movie folder from Gallery would show all the content but the only program that would play them was Rockplayer which I had installed.
I know have a US Xoom with 3.2 firmware. With the same type of content in the Movies folder together with a MP4 file encoded with Handbrake to specs that the Xoom can play, Gallery only shows me that MP4 file. The other files just don't show up at all. The only way I can play them is to use ES Filemanager to browse that folder and click the filename to play it or use Rockplayer's explorer interface.
When we view the video files in the gallery, they show as tumbnail. is there a way to show the file name?

View 7 Replies View Related I recently purchased a used, unlocked Motorola Atrix off eBay from a reputable seller (over 5000 feedback & 100%).Having put my o2 sim card & micro SD card into the Atrix, I plugged in the charger & left it for a few hours.I then turned it on & followed the instructions for creating a MotoBlur account & setting everything else up.Once I started getting use to the layout, I then realised there was no status bar at the top of the screen.I've hunted thru menus & tried several factory resets but no status bar.I got in touch with the seller who told me to download the Software Update program from Motorola.
I've now tried the UK retail, the UK Orange (it was originally on Orange Network) and the US AT&T & each time it gives me the option to reinstall but fails after 23% with "Error - Update has not been completed" during which time the phone has rebooted & locks up at the initial ['M' Dual Core] logo screen. Only a battery pull resets it.
Has anyone come across this situation where the status bar doesn't exist?

Today I tried to look for something in my Gallery - it keeps force closing. I tried powering the phone off and on and also did a battery pull, it still does not work. I can get into the folder where I have taken pictures via the camera, but can't access anything else.
