High resolution Images or pictures from camera or web appear dotted and low quality. I see curved patterns in images with large Color Gradients. Also pictures or video taken from Atrix camera looks grainy and negative-like patches in dark areas.Is this a common problem? Could it be because of display resolution of the phone.
View 3 Replies1. I installed the MLB At-Bat '12 app and noticed the sound quality is not good. I have sent feedback to the maker of the app, but not sure what the problem is. It reminds me of playing a cassette at a slightly slower speed (I know, some of you are going to say "What the heck is a cassette?"). The announcers voices are off, like their voice got deeper and are speaking slower. Not sure if this is an audio driver issue or app issue. Doesn't matter if its on wi-fi or not.2. lately my phone has been active very laggy. Switching screens is slow, sometimes the icons take a second to show up, and god forbid I am listening to music from my sd card, because it will get the skips.
3. I was taking some video this week and on two seperate days the screen froze for a couple seconds then showed action again. When I playback the video it skipped at that point, as if a couple seconds was chopped out. So it wasn't that the screen froze, it appears the process stopped. I got a force close error also. The first time, I rebooted my phone, then my phone decided that wasn't good enough and rebooted again on its own. The second time it happened I rebooted, only once this time, and it recorded normally after that.
Quite a few of these issues can be corrected by going in to the task manager and ending task on apps that are loaded but not being used. However they just come right back, so it is almost pointless. Before you ask, I have done a couple factory resets along with a cache wipe a couple months ago. It is a real pita getting the phone set back up the way I had an d I dont want to do it again anytime soon. I dont have a lot of unnecessary apps installed, but I do have quite a few, and I use them. It doesn't matter whether I am on wi-fi, have gps on, or bluetooth on.
I really had planned on this being the last phone I buy for quite a while, even buying the car dock and hd dock. I am starting to get concerned that the "most powerful smartphone on the planet" isn't going to last and cant handle mundane tasks. I suppose if I was just goint to text and make calls, it will, but while a lot of the issues are really just small things that are an annoyance rather than a hinderance, it will most likely affect my decision on how long I keep it. I really hope care was taken to develop ICS to help with the issues being seen on this site. It is too bad that those of us with issues cant have our phones be the test-beds for the development, rather than the phones they are using in the lab that most likely have never had an issue.
i have a question how can i upload pictures for caller ID in motorola atrix phone the one i upload are so small it cannot zoom enlarge it shows very small picture when u recieve call how can i enlarge that picture.

If I assign a picture to a contact using the gallery i.e. pictures that I took and store on my SD card. Then I say delete the picture(s from the SD card do I lose the picture assigned to the contact? Or is the picture assigned to a contact 'special' and also resized and kept somewhere else?
View 1 Replies View Relatedso I entered my Facebook account to Motoblur and it loads all my contacts to the adddress book. Not all people have their numbers/pictures on facebook so I also imported contacts to google and they appear. But this is where the problems start:
Number 1:
There is a linked contact consisting of Facebook and Google. Since the facebook account has no picture I went to Edit- > Use existing photo -> chose one -> save. It adds the picture but after I click save it is gone. I assume the problem is that I chose facebook as my primary picture source in Motoblur. But how can I add a custom picture instead?
Number 2:
I have a Google profile let's say "Josef Biden" but as he wants to keep some privacy he calls him self "Josef Doe" on facebook. But no matter if I choose "Josef Biden" and link it to "Josef Doe" or if I choose "Josef Doe" and link it to "Josef Biden", the final contact will be the facebook one "Josef Doe". Obviously that's not his name, how can I change this and make the right name win?
Is there anyway to change the picture of a contact group? I like sorting my contacts into various groups and use the feature a lot. It would be nice to give each group a different picture instead of the grey head outlines that are next to each group. When I go to Edit Group, it only lets me change the name. Is it possible to change the picture or at least turn the picture off?

When I am using the speakerphone, after 2 minutes, the screen goes blank and there is nothing I can do to get it back. The only button that works is the top button and that hangs up the call.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHave an Atrix 4G by At&T. I plug my HDMI cable into the TV (in an attempt to show video, pics, anything) and I get a Motorola logo flashing around only. The Entertainment Center shows up on the phone. If I press anything on the Entertainment Center it disappears, my TV goes blank for a few seconds, then the Motorola logo comes back. I can get the Entertainment Center back thru the pull down, but any selection, it starts all over again.

I see it on the home screen and any other time there is a dark background. It is especially noticeable with the gray background of the settings-display-brightness screen and similar.

I set a photo as my background on my X6, but the image re-sizes itself so its bigger in the home screen and not all of the image appears on the screen, alot is cut off.
I cant quite figure out how to adjust the image so that it stays the same size when its used as my back ground, or how to re-adjust the image back! Its annoying because it means my pictures are limited as to what can be on my background, im having to chose really far away shots becaus they appear close up when used as a background!

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone was working fine one minute, but the next thing I know it turns off, the led starts blinking blue and the screen refuses to turn on. If I hold the volume button and the power button, the phone vibrates and the led stops blinking indicating that the phone powered off. I can then power it back on and it vibrates and the led starts blinking again indicating it is powered on, but the screen remains completely black and does not show any boot up animations or respond to any touches. As you can probably guess, with an unresponsive display I can't boot into recovery mode or anything.

I have iPhone 4s and I want to display full screen contact image when a contact calls. I have taken a picture from iPhone camera and assigned to the contact (both by assigning the photo to the contact from the options on the picture and by editing the contact and assigning the photo) and it still continues to show the small thumbnail.
