There is now a pale whitish band around the perimeter of the display maybe a 1/4" wide. The band feathers slightly to produce a fine white line along its inside border. I see it on the home screen and any other time there is a dark background. It is especially noticeable with the gray background of the settings-display-brightness screen and similar.

In the last few days, I've noticed that it's much more pronounced, particularly on a blue background. It's very distracting when watching videos. I've tried various players, formats, etc...but I even see it on the home screen if I have a blue background set. Is my screen defective?

When I am using the speakerphone, after 2 minutes, the screen goes blank and there is nothing I can do to get it back. The only button that works is the top button and that hangs up the call.

View 7 Replies View RelatedHave an Atrix 4G by At&T. I plug my HDMI cable into the TV (in an attempt to show video, pics, anything) and I get a Motorola logo flashing around only. The Entertainment Center shows up on the phone. If I press anything on the Entertainment Center it disappears, my TV goes blank for a few seconds, then the Motorola logo comes back. I can get the Entertainment Center back thru the pull down, but any selection, it starts all over again.

My Bionic connects well on the 2.4 GHz band but does not appear to be able to connect on the 5GHz band. Is the Bionic capable of dual band connectivity? My Xoom 4G tablet connects well at 5GHz and shows the 2.4 GHz band as also available. Specs show the Bionic capable of b/g/n connectivity but does not specify bands.

On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone functions normally, but there is a strange issue regarding the act of selecting apps, typing, swiping, etc. The touch response is acting very strangely because whenever I touch an app or anything, a border forms around the icon that I touch, and the only way to open the app or funtion is to do a double-tap. To select another app or function, I must first select the app to get the border placed around it, and then I must double-tap it again. This makes the whole process very cumbersome and irritating.

View 1 Replies View Relatedprobably since the last Android Update to 4.0.4, my Ray with 4.1.B.0.587 starts self-actuated a permanent reboot loop whenever I am crossing the German-Austrian border and therefore reaching an Austrian (i.e. foreign) network.
The loop restarts whenever it reaches the point where it checks the SIM card and then starts with a Sony screen like when I switch it on. The loop can only be interrupted by removing the battery. OK, also by going back to Germany. I have full phone roaming authorization from my home network (vodafone), yet for data roaming I need to purchase day or week packages. Up to that Android update, all that worked perfectly, including tehtering.
So, in fact, I am currently not able to use my phone in foreign networks.
