how I can move my apps to surround the middle of the screen instead of falling in behind one another. I have a background I'd like to be able to see the middle, so of there is a way to keep my apps at the sides and top I would be happy.

I always noticed a very subtle shading about a half-inch wide around the screen of my Xoom. In the last few days, I've noticed that it's much more pronounced, particularly on a blue background. It's very distracting when watching videos. I've tried various players, formats, etc...but I even see it on the home screen if I have a blue background set. Is my screen defective?

I have tried to search for this but to no avail.I used to be able to move the apps around on MY PHONE under applications to different locations on the given screen or one of the other screens showing applications. Now all of a sudden I see the applications and the 4 screens but they are not "active" and I can no longer put apps in the order i'd like on the iphone. I am hoping it's a simple explanation.I did a reboot but it didn't help.

If I click and hold on an existing app icon, or an app in the drawer, then I get the vibration as normal and I can drag the app around the screen but:I never get the green highlight showing new places where I can put the icon, andI can't drag to another page of the home screen: the side bars never turn green to let me flip to the next page.I also can't resize widgets like the clock or weather when it gets in this state.The only way I've found to clear this fault is to reboot the phone, which is a bit of a pain.

It's the border with the 3 dots on the right which indicate home, back, and previous tasks button, and the top border with the time and everything.. It's annoying because it blocks some of the video of there something going on on the top or right side. Sometimes I can sail it away and it'll go away. Other times its stuck there..
Is there a specific setting to disable it, or a certain gesture?
I type quickly (or pressing one button repeatedly quickly) and, often the screen would get a blue margin around the screen, and it gets into a weird mode, sort of a pseudo frozen state. I'd have to press the home button repeatedly to get out of that strange mode.

My phone functions normally, but there is a strange issue regarding the act of selecting apps, typing, swiping, etc. The touch response is acting very strangely because whenever I touch an app or anything, a border forms around the icon that I touch, and the only way to open the app or funtion is to do a double-tap. To select another app or function, I must first select the app to get the border placed around it, and then I must double-tap it again. This makes the whole process very cumbersome and irritating.
