Firmware used was I9100XXKP4_I9100OXAKP4 via the sam mobile site.I used Odin3 and although the download had 7 files, I only used the CSC, MODEM and code files.

In the last few days, I've noticed that it's much more pronounced, particularly on a blue background. It's very distracting when watching videos. I've tried various players, formats, etc...but I even see it on the home screen if I have a blue background set. Is my screen defective?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI type quickly (or pressing one button repeatedly quickly) and, often the screen would get a blue margin around the screen, and it gets into a weird mode, sort of a pseudo frozen state. I'd have to press the home button repeatedly to get out of that strange mode.

(I'm on PagePlus using the $30/month for 1200 min, 1200 texts, and 50mb data.) That leaves me choosing between the Droid 2 and the Samsung Epic 4G. Question: Can I flash a Galaxy S Sprint Epic 4G onto Verizon to use PagePlus? I know Sprint uses CDMA, which leads me to believe the Epic could work on Verizon's network (which PagePlus uses), but beyond that I'm clueless. Can anyone tell me if this is possible or not, and if so, where to look for more information?
my SGSII losing its capability of using 2/3G networks - (i.e. no green and red arrows). I can connect to wireless networks but that's it, which is pretty frustrating when I'm out and about in town, out of range of wifi, and want to check something on the Internet, etc.So now I'm faced with the unwelcome prospect of sending my phone back to Vodafone to get repaired which means 10 working days without my phon? would flashing my SGSII bring back my 2/3G capability? it sounded similar to the 24 ringtone (Cisco phone) but was better. if anyone knows what I'm talking about or could send a pack of their tones I would be greatful as it was very distinctive.
Kies recently updated firmware on my SII & loaded kies update to PC as well. Now when I sync with outlook 2007 it sets all meeting times to start & finish at the same time on the phone. So apt created in outllook to start say 8am & finish 10am. Sync then puts it in phone calendar but set start AND finish to 8am. I rely on this so really need it fixed.

There is one small problem though, in settings ->battery usage its fully charged and saying i have 1m 50 s on battery?!! And when i open the graph it says i have 27 seconds on battery! If I go to another app, it starts alternating with the notification screen. It is nearly impossible to power off because it is on the screen so briefly, it is hard to tap and have it register.

Certain apps and games are giving a black border along the left right and bottom sides of the screen (about 1cm). I know it is not the apps, because they all work fine on MY atrix. How can I solve this problem, or do I need to return his Atrix to Bell for a replacement?

I slept past my alarm because my Verizon S6 in white 64gb decided to go black screen with the flashing blue led light while it was on the charger overnight .
I've searched everywhere and it seems to be common. The reboot isn't working. Volume down and home screen isn't working.
i just got the galaxy s6 edge i noticed i keep getting the flashing blue LED light when my screen is off even though i am not received any text, emails or any notification on my phone. it just keeps flashing. how do i turn this off? The left portion of the image is the unlocked state; as you can see the notifications show up in the upper left corner of the screen. The right portion is the locked screen, which hides the notifications previously shown. The notifications used to show in both of the screens but after a recent OS update they stopped showing.

When I'm trying to power on the phone, I get the initial black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen. Then everything goes black and the blue LED on the top left lights up and stays on, does not flash or dim, just stays on. The phone does not vibrate or make any sound when it does this.
What I've tried to fix it:
1) Power + Volume down (maintenance boot mode) ... I've tried normal boot, factory reset and booting in safe mode, all just give me a black screen with the blue LED.
2) Power + Volume Up + Home (andoid system recovery screen) ... When doing this, the phone displays the black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen, followed by a bluish colored screen with a little android guy on it, followed by the dead android guy with a yellow exclamation triangle over his head, then goes into the android system recovery menu. On this screen I can wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and reboot and I still get a black screen with a steady blue LED.
3) Power + Volume Down + Home followed by Volume Up (Downloading screen) ... Takes me to the bluish screen warning me about downloading a custom OS. After hitting up it does not show the knox has ever been triggered. I've tried using ODIN 3.10.6 to reinstall fresh firmware (5.1.1 G920VVRU3BOG5) and after it successfully installs it, it boots to a black screen with the steady blue LED.
When the clocks went forward my locked screen updated but my home screen clock hasent? If I go on time and date it just changes the time on the locked screen so the 2 clocks are an hour different.
