Kies recently updated firmware on my SII & loaded kies update to PC as well. Now when I sync with outlook 2007 it sets all meeting times to start & finish at the same time on the phone. So apt created in outllook to start say 8am & finish 10am. Sync then puts it in phone calendar but set start AND finish to 8am. I rely on this so really need it fixed.

There is one small problem though, in settings ->battery usage its fully charged and saying i have 1m 50 s on battery?!! And when i open the graph it says i have 27 seconds on battery! Whats going on? How can i fix this? I hope this is not a true indication of my current battery level and will cut out at anytime.
View 2 Replies View RelatedToday, I made a call in my truck (2013 F-150) using bluetooth and the Sync system and it was super quiet. I had the volume on the phone all the way up, and the radio in the truck was turned up where it normally is. I later tried another call, to another person, and it was the same issue. I deleted the connection, both on the phone and in the truck and set it up again like it was new. It seems like it may have worked, but hard to tell, since I am just sitting in my driveway and it's to late to really call people to test it.

Initial sync goes ok. After initial sync, "always on" mail times out and stops working. It does not resync 15 minutes later. A manual sync will retrieve mail. After initial sync, contact changes are no longer synced. Further contact syncs fail. If contact sync is disabled, other syncs work ok. I wish I hadn't bothered doing the update!
I'm using nokia 5800. I updated my firmware from v50 and after it restart my phone is locked i can't open it. The keyguard switch ain't working. WHAT CAN I DO??It always says "Use keyguard switch to unlock screen and keys"

Just updated via Samsung Apps the camera firmware to a CDE11 or something version. Took 4 minutes to update and flash this firmware. I wonder what exactly it changed in the camera firmware? Hopefully improved things or bug fixes.I will test a few videos and see if the bitrate has changed or not.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently updated my Gingerbread S2 on O2 to 2.3.5 and it has lost my ringtone, this must have been a default one as it is not in the backup folder I made of the custom ones before the update. trouble is I can't remember what it was called - I think it was a short two word name beginning with N or M.
it sounded similar to the 24 ringtone (Cisco phone) but was better. if anyone knows what I'm talking about or could send a pack of their tones I would be greatful as it was very distinctive.
Firmware used was I9100XXKP4_I9100OXAKP4 via the sam mobile site.I used Odin3 and although the download had 7 files, I only used the CSC, MODEM and code files.

I updated my Firmware using Kies and everything seemed to have gone smoothly until i started using the phone. I now have the following issues;
1 Pink spot on camera that wasnt there before
2 My phonebook keeps crashing and my buddy widgets for the phonebook also resets
3 SMS crashes as well
I thought it was suppost to be a fix. If i had known this would happen i wouldnt have upgraded the firmware!

View 1 Replies View RelatedPC is running Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 (64bit version) I have Kies version is 2.0.2.11071_128, The upgrade starts ok and runs until the phone displays 'Downloading...' at which point I get the message 'PC failed to recognise the mobile phone.' and says to disconnect phone, remove battery, restart phone and try again. This i have done several times but the same thing happens every time.

The progress bar remained at 0% for more than 40 minutes and I became suspicious that it was not working. I tried interrupting with the cancel button and that didn't work, so the only way was to remove the cable (yes there were warnings not to do it... still I assumed that this scenario would have been foreseen). Kies woke up with the interruption and asked if I wanted to do an emergency firmware recovery, I said yes and proceeded with it. It gave me some instructions to switch off the phone, replace battery, and remove the cable. I switched the phone off and on again and there appeared a symbol representing the loss of connection to the PC, so I re-connected. The recovery started fine, but half way through it, it failed due to a problem on the phone. Since then the phone is dead. It won't start anymore.

So i was forced to download the truly terrible Kies software, and after 24 hours of it not even connecting to my phone, I actually got it working. Of course, now, it wont even recognise that i can get ICS. I says I have the latest firmware -which I dont- and wont even let me search for a new one!

If finds the update available for the device and shows windows to update firmware. The new/latest update version available is PDA-KL1/PHONE:KL1/CSC:KL1(INU) After clicking to update, it downloads the update and goes into next step of "Preparing firmware update components", but then the process terminates after few seconds and nothing happens. The phone reconnects to kies s/w and again the firmware upgrade window is shown. So cannot update the firmware.

first off is my problem with ics which i installed the other day after watching a "how to install" video on Internet. got it installed and working fine but as you may or may not know its not official update so there was alot of issues like the phone would turn itself off and other annoying things.now i want it back to stock (not bothered about the orange bloatware that was on it). i am new to all this flashing/installing.

All seemed to be going to plan. Then the phone dropped out of Kies and is trying to reconnect. The computer flashed up a message that the device was not recognised. The phone is still attached to the USB and has the android icon with downloading...do not turn off t Is the phone already disconnected..?What should I do to recover? Can I recover?
