IPhone 5s :: Green Border Around The Side Of Screen
Aug 31, 2014
I got a problem on my iphone 5s, it got the green border around of my iPhone 5s's screen. It just will show clearly when the my iPhone 5s's screen in white color. I tried to power off my iPhone 5s after noticed it. But don't solve the problem. Will it effect to my iPhone? isn't that is the problem of the software? White iPhone 5s, 16GB, iOS 7.1.2, used for 10 months.
I always noticed a very subtle shading about a half-inch wide around the screen of my Xoom. In the last few days, I've noticed that it's much more pronounced, particularly on a blue background. It's very distracting when watching videos. I've tried various players, formats, etc...but I even see it on the home screen if I have a blue background set. Is my screen defective?
how I can move my apps to surround the middle of the screen instead of falling in behind one another. I have a background I'd like to be able to see the middle, so of there is a way to keep my apps at the sides and top I would be happy.
this morning when I woke up, I unplugged my active and it wouldn't turn on. The only thing that stayed on was the green light in the upper left hand side of the phone. I am new to android devices and am not sure what to do.
Got a problem with my 5800 - just today, the touch screen has started being odd. It sometimes works perfectly but then i try and press a button on the left hand side of the screen and it chooses the one at the right-hand side. This obviously makes everything very difficult! Any ideas as to why this might be/how I could repair it? I've tried the touch screen calibration about 10 times, it sorts it out for about a minute.I can send it to Nokia to replace but I could really do without sending my phone away
Looking at my phone accidentally i discovered that over the clock on the top right side of the screen i saw that the border light is more weak than the rest of the phone.
You see that blue border around my screen? I just downloaded and was playing the Radiohead Polyfauna app when this suddenly surrounded my screen. It is permanently fixed to my screen; doesn't matter the app, doesn't matter the task. Especially annoying when I type is it forms a little drop down border to surround every letter I touch in turn. I really want it gone.
Firmware used was I9100XXKP4_I9100OXAKP4 via the sam mobile site.I used Odin3 and although the download had 7 files, I only used the CSC, MODEM and code files.
Just been wondering about the stupid border around the screen when watching a YouTube video in landscape mode. It's the border with the 3 dots on the right which indicate home, back, and previous tasks button, and the top border with the time and everything.. It's annoying because it blocks some of the video of there something going on on the top or right side. Sometimes I can sail it away and it'll go away. Other times its stuck there..
Is there a specific setting to disable it, or a certain gesture?
Certain apps and games are giving a black border along the left right and bottom sides of the screen (about 1cm). I know it is not the apps, because they all work fine on MY atrix. How can I solve this problem, or do I need to return his Atrix to Bell for a replacement?
Here is his phone (with border) [URL]
Here is my phone (without border) [URL]
This is just one app, but there are a bunch more. Running stock unrooted Bell firmware, with the newest update.
I type quickly (or pressing one button repeatedly quickly) and, often the screen would get a blue margin around the screen, and it gets into a weird mode, sort of a pseudo frozen state. I'd have to press the home button repeatedly to get out of that strange mode.
I took this shot after updating both my iPhone 4 and iPad with the latest SW releases today... If the signal bar cacluation Apple is recommending is appropriate for the iPhone, why not the iPad 3g as well?...and which is correct?
It is my goal to own two iPhone 4s tomorrow morning at 7am via my local Apple store without a pre-order. However, my girlfriend and I are currently on a Verizon family plan and despite me constantly explaining how the iPhone will be the best investment she will ever make (I even used to have my own iPhone at the same time as the Verizon phone), she still needs more convincing that AT&T is at least pretty similar to Verizon's service and monthly bill.
Shortened story shorter (the point): I'm looking for some type of up-to-date comparison chart/website to compare the two. I tried Google but couldn't find anything worthwhile. I have a feeling if there's anything out there, MR would know.
I just thought of something else. Incase Apple is so busy tonight that they don't want to cancel Verizon and set me up with AT&T until they "officially" open the store (10am), can I still just pay for the two phones and set them up with our old Verizon numbers and new AT&T plan at a later time? Obviously I would do this to insure I have the phones in my possession and won't need to wait until they have new stock.
How do you change the time bar from top to the side of the screen. My daughter was playing with my phone and now the time bar as well as battery bar etc. is all on the side of the screen.
the right hand side of the screen on my IPhone 5 is unresponsive and has lines running down it after i dropped it. How can i do a full software restore when i can't put my password in the phone to switch off find my iPhone?
After I updated yesterday to 4.1 my phone restarted and it was charging up from the usb (the big green battery was on the screen). I disconnected the phone by itunes and when I tried to unlock it the screen was black!
I have tried holding the sleep and power buttons down for 2 minutes but still nothing. The phone is completely dead!
Any ideas on what I can do? It's probably going to be a swap for a new phone in the apple store today, but I really need to get some stuff of it. Would this be possible? Thanks
I just bought a new apple iphone 4S and its has green and purple striples on it when not in use, is this norm? I took it back to the Verizonwirless and they said it was from the display protector on the screen?
Over the past couple of months, my iPhone 3GS has had dead spots on the left side of the screen, preventing me from using the r, d and x keys, the number 4 and the semi colon and comma keys.Just a note; I can't put my phone to sleep or turn off as my lock button isn't working, so I'm using the AssistiveTouch settings.
My iphone 4 started acting strange after upgrading from ios7 to ios7.1.1..The problem is that the touch screen is not responding on the right side after upgrading from 7 to 7.1.1...I can't use the P, delete and everything on the side. even the O.
I tried restoring as new, restored to several different backups (even older ones from other iPhones) but it didn't worked. Tried "Use Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings.." and nothing changed.Â
I dropeed my iPhone and the screen is shattered, but the more annoying part is this brown cluster of something on the side of my screen. It was originally much smaller but throughout the day the brown part moved and is larger. If I get my screen replaced will this go away? Is there any way I can get this fixed without just replacing my phone?
I recently had the LCD replaced on my iphone 4 this week. I keep getting blue/green lines on screen. I have to do a reset then it's fine until the next time also I have added a energizer charging case it seems that's when the lines started.
SO, today I went to the Apple Store to get my iPhone's screen replaced once again for the same problem. (Dust under screen) This is the 3rd screen my phone has had. So I'm looking at it when I get home, putting on my new screen protectors, and I notice that... Half the screen is dimmer than the other side, (I thought I was seeing things, so I put it against my Mom's iPhone 3G, and I was right...) and now there is a dead pixel. This screen is a dud! I'm sorta tired of my monthly visits to the Apple Store...good thing this is all under warranty. Anyone else had this problem that reoccurs? Or the have dimmed problem? I'm bummed out... I can't get to the Apple store for a few weeks. Guess I gotta deal with it...eh? There was some awesome Customer Service people who made my visit a breeze though!
