Dec 3, 2014Is there a way to rearrange icons for apps on phone and ipad in iTunes while having multiple screens open. It looks as if you can only move apps when you double click one screen, but then you don't see the other screens so it is kind of hard to put apps on different screens according to kind....
Is it really that much of a pain to move icons? It is for me now...Or are there video's available for people who need visual clues?

Jun 4, 2014I just got my first smart phone and it's an Apple i5s, so long story short I'm new to these things. I'm trying to move icons from one screen to the another and I'm wondering how to do this. If I touch an icon and hold it for a few seconds the screen starts to shake and it appears as though I can move it around, but when I do it just goes back to its original location.

Mar 31, 2012I understand tap and hold to make the icons jiggle, then drag. Only problem is, I can move them to the right but not to the left--to the home screen. For example, I moved one of the default home screen icons to the second screen, leaving a hole. Now I'm trying to move an icon from the second screen into the hole I created. I can drag to the right and create a new screen, but it will not break through to the left onto the home screen.

Jan 16, 2010First off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?
and another thing is sometimes ill be writting a msg and my phone will make 3 beeping prompting type of noise any idea what this is?

I wonder how I could move them around, as in really *arrange* them.There's a weird thing happened. I have now 5 pages of icons, but the last spot on Page 4 is always left blank. Nov 15, 2011When I try to move or re-arrage an icon on my Atrix 2, the icon disappears and goes right back to the main apps section. It doesn't matter if I try to move the icon from one screen to the next or if I try to move it to another place on the same screen. Basically, the way my screen is currently set up is the way it has to stay.This just started today. Also, when I completed my first phone call today, the screen froze and I had to restart the phone. The same thing happened with the first text of the day. And my notifications are hit or miss. Sometimes I get my audible notifications and sometimes I don't. Also, I got a phone call today but the ringer didn't work. This only happened once but I found that odd. I just happened to look down and see that a call was coming in. All of this just started today.

-- They show up OK in the Apps list. And in folders. Only missing on the desktop.

May 14, 2012When I'm listening to music, or more likely a book on my iPhone, I double press the home button to show the basic music controls forward, back, play or pause. Way to often I go to hit pause and accidentally hit one of the other very nearby buttons like skip forward or skip backward. When listening to a book chapter that is 40 minutes long and having no clue where I'm at in the chapter, this can be super annoying. So - is there any way to customize and separate these buttons so that they're not so close to each other? My fingers aren't that fat, the touch separation between these buttons must be about a millimeter. Totally frustrating to lose your place like that. Would be cool if they were far enough away that I could hit the button I want without looking at the phone, or at least the play/pause button was much larger.is there an app that can change these controls, or a way to make a request to Apple?

Feb 21, 2010My iPhone's image keeps automatically enlarging. The touchscreen is also bearly responsive. I haven't dropped it and I've only ever used applications from the istore. I recently purchased some music from the istore the same day. I've tried restoring and resetting nothing seems to work. It goes back to the enlarged image.
