By the 'arrange icons' option I seem to be only able to delete icons (or unistall the applications). I wonder how I could move them around, as in really *arrange* them.There's a weird thing happened. I have now 5 pages of icons, but the last spot on Page 4 is always left blank. Even if I install a new app, this spot won't fill up, the new icon would appear on Page 5. I wonder how I could get rid of such nuisance

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded to 2.1-update 1,I have been trying to move my phone album to my laptop and have tried Bluetooth as well as USB connection for the same but its not working.
Problems faced:
1. I am not able to select several photos for transfer. On tapping the photo, options are "Use as wallpaper" or "Use as contact picture". The menu button only gives option as "Delete several"
2. Even though bluetooth is turned on for phone as well as laptop and they are in sync, when i send the file, it encounters some error and the file transfer doesnot take place.
3. When I connected through USB, the album was blank. The only option I got was opening the camera

I put the 16 gb card in and copied the apps from phone to this new card. while all other apps are working, none of the three preinstalled popcap games are working with the new sd card. They work fine when I reinsert the old card. Anyone knows how I can make the games work on the new card, without rooting?

But one thing that is really annoying is that it is all too easy to accidently go into the arrange icons mode by mistake without even realising it. Quite often I look at my phone and my address book, or calls have disapeared from the corners and now sit with the icons. Is it possible to extend the length of time needed for a long press?

It doesn't matter if I try to move the icon from one screen to the next or if I try to move it to another place on the same screen. Basically, the way my screen is currently set up is the way it has to stay.This just started today. Also, when I completed my first phone call today, the screen froze and I had to restart the phone. For example, I moved one of the default home screen icons to the second screen, leaving a hole. Now I'm trying to move an icon from the second screen into the hole I created. I can drag to the right and create a new screen, but it will not break through to the left onto the home screen.

I can move the factory installed icons like the BBapp world icon, but icons for apps I have downloaded cannot be moved. When I select the icon of the 3rd party app i want to move, and press/hold the BB button, no menu with a "move" option appears.

-- They show up OK in the Apps list. And in folders. Only missing on the desktop.
-- They came back for awhile but then recently disappeared again.
-- They will come back if I delete them from the desktop and the put them back.
All my applications from my Media folder have been moved onto my home screen after downloading a theme. I didn't like the theme so i deleted it, and now all of my Media applications are on my home screen and i am unable to move them or do anything with them, i've tried re-booting. I really want them back in that Media folder

0) I have two message in my Inbox, Remove and replace the battery and switch on the device. After that I format E:Mass Storage and close File manager
1) In Messaging Options I select Settings and than Other and change the Memory in user to E:Mass Storage
2) I'm asked if I'd like to "copy all messages to the new message memory". I click on "Yes"
3) I'm asked if I'd like to "Save original messages" and I click "No" as I'd like to use the new stoage exclusively
After that the Inbox is empty.
I have 8 applications on my Nokia N97 Mini that I cannot delete.When I click on them the file just flashes, and when i try to delete them the phone says it cant as they are a "corrupted file".I tried, soft reset, hard reset (factory reset) and it doesn't help, the files are still there!All I can do with them is move them around different folders.Also when using application manager it doesn't find them, so I cant even delete using that!Please can someone help?
