Atrix HD - I clicked on the AT&T Address Book download and it changed by Contacts Display Colors when I click on the PEOPLE Icon.How do I either REMOVE the AT&T Address Book (AT&T techs don't know how)or simply be able to edit the Background and Text colors?

I'm using my phone more than 5 months. Yesterday come back after work and saw that half of the display is in black and white stripes. I try restart it didn't help, in forums read that here may be soft problems, I have updated software, but it didn't help too. Maybe someone had the same problem. And I would like to know if I'll change lcd screen, it will solve this problem or not?
View 5 Replies View Relatedmy 1020 is experiencing many problems, first of all I must mention that the screen was changed after being broken, and then the problems started, display colours went yellowish and too bright, screen locking alone too many times when battery gets below 65%.
I have to mention that I changed the screen another times, but the problems started again after 3 days, and that sometimes the phone gets fixed sudenlly, but not for too long, the longest period was 2 days, and two more times it worked properly again for few minutes (once I unlock the lock screen, the phone gets corrupted again)
I have my screen set to a 2 minute timeout and have the phone set to hang up by pressing the top button. When I am using the speakerphone, after 2 minutes, the screen goes blank and there is nothing I can do to get it back. The only button that works is the top button and that hangs up the call.

View 7 Replies View RelatedHave an Atrix 4G by At&T. I plug my HDMI cable into the TV (in an attempt to show video, pics, anything) and I get a Motorola logo flashing around only. The Entertainment Center shows up on the phone. If I press anything on the Entertainment Center it disappears, my TV goes blank for a few seconds, then the Motorola logo comes back. I can get the Entertainment Center back thru the pull down, but any selection, it starts all over again.

View 7 Replies View RelatedThere is now a pale whitish band around the perimeter of the display maybe a 1/4" wide. The band feathers slightly to produce a fine white line along its inside border. I see it on the home screen and any other time there is a dark background. It is especially noticeable with the gray background of the settings-display-brightness screen and similar.

Also pictures or video taken from Atrix camera looks grainy and negative-like patches in dark areas.Is this a common problem? Could it be because of display resolution of the phone.

View 8 Replies View RelatedHave added contacts to the contacts bar, but when you click on them, the next screen that pops up is impossible to read. It's readable with the o2 default theme (which I don't like), but any of the other themes that come with it have white text on a pale grey (nearly white) background. I tried adding a different theme to the phone but it still has the same colours for the pop up contacts window.

It was there with my razr before the ICS update and then it went away and still not there when I got my razr HD. I liked that reature because I liked to sync all the contacts and then only show just the contacts with phone numbers.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have taken my gmail contacts and sorted them into groups. For example Friends and Friends 2, where Friends are people I call all the time and Friends 2 are those I call once a year. On my D2G under Contacts>menu>Show/hide. It says "check the groups to hide." If I check Friends 2, should this not now hide all the contacts in the Friends 2 group?
In Contacts Menu there is also a "Show Group", and this has the options Create new Group, All contacts, favorites, Google, and Phone contacts. This is confusing to me. If I choose "Google" which I assume is all my Gmail contacts, shouldn't the Show/hide apply to those groups? This is not the case. I have checked and unchecked several groups to hide and they still display. I have also verified that the contacts are only in the groups that are checked. So they should be hidden.
I want be able to hide certain groups in contacts and only show them when I need them. I'm not getting this right. I have synced since organizing the the the Gmail contacts.

I am trying to find out how I can go about hiding those factory installed contacts (like the AT&T ones). I've attempted to delete them, but it says unable to delete read only contacts/files, but that they can be hidden. I've looked under options/edit, and don't see a hide option/setting.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSomething happened to my contact database yesterday and now whenever I access any contacts, look at texts, etc. my phone is very slow to either start the SMS program (the force close/wait dialog continually comes up) or the contact takes a while for the data to appear.Is there a way to erase all the contacts out of the database and resync them all? If so, will erasing the contacts also erase call history, etc? If it does is there a way to not lose this information?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an ATRIX 4G upgraded to Gingerbread. Today, out of the blue, all my contacts suddenly got deleted. I syned my contacts with my gmail account but all the contacts with phone numbers are gone. I only have email ids. I did not have a SD card till some days back so I am assuming my contacts were stored on the phone's internal memory/SIM card. I tried to import contacts from my SIM card but it did not have any contacts stored.
Is there any way I can recover those contacts? I tried changing the display setting in contacts but to no avail. I hope someone can help. I had some important numbers in the list which will be difficult to reaquire.

It synced with my new phone and made lots of multiple entries, etc. what a mess! Now I'm reading that I can synch a number of other ways including using Windows Mobile Device Center to sync with my Outlook contacts. Now how do I stop Motoblur from synching/updating contacts and clear the phone contacts so I can sync another way?
