I have iPhone 4s and I want to display full screen contact image when a contact calls. I have taken a picture from iPhone camera and assigned to the contact (both by assigning the photo to the contact from the options on the picture and by editing the contact and assigning the photo) and it still continues to show the small thumbnail.

I have a blackberry bold 9700 (completely up to date etc and about a year old). For whatever reason it now will not load full images on my browser and when i save images whilst on the net they are saved in a very small format.This started happening a couple of months ago.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust noticed on my N79 that if I have a contact image assigned, and I delete the original image, the image assigned to the contact changes to a small thumbnail version of the original image, similar to that seen on the old N95 when using contact images. In other words, the system appears to still be storing the contact as a tiny S60 3rd FP1-style image, and the full-screen contact images are being read off the memory card at call time. Obviously this isn't ideal. I'll be throwing my contact images into a special folder so I don't delete them again.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got a replacement iPhone due to battery issues a couple weeks ago and ever since then my contacts pictures only come up very small in the top right corner of my screen if I receive a call. On my last phone, the contact picture took up the whole screen.I did some research and it seems that this is caused from syncing your contacts and their pictures onto your phone instead of adding them from your phone manually. I assume that I synced them with my Gmail and them Gmail put them back onto my new phone and this is what messed them up.Anybody know how I can remove all my contacts pictures and then re-sync them with Facebook? Or any other type of workaround?

Is there way to make it the full screen? I'm thinking this is only Verizon? My boyfriend has AT&T and his contact picture shows up full screen when someone calls him.

I have stored contacts on Exchange but I tested also Google and Samsung account and there is the same issue. When I call somebody or somebody calls me I see only small contact picture in the circle. On S5 I had the image on half screen. I have Galaxy S6, my friend has Edge and there id the picture bigger.

Where to find other "Contact apps" that is more user friendly?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI normally use a rectangle cropped image for my contacts but since I'm using.Google Contacts now to backup and sync my phonebook, I notice that the contact images are cropped to a square. Now this may have been fine but it's positioning the square image on the top left in a very unpleasant manner. People without contact images have the default picture centered and positioned nicely.

I copied from my old phone to the PC, and then to my X8, some pictures from my contacts. They are under the DCIM folder in the SD card.When I edit a contact and choose to add a picture, I can't add those pictures. The following things happen:
If I choose to use the internal Album application to browse and select the pictures, it shows all the photos I took with the phone's camera, plus several others that I don't know where they came from. It doesn't show the pictures I just copied from the PC to the SD card. But the ones that are visible can be selected and used.If I choose to use a file browser (such as OI File Manager) to browse and select the pictures, I can browse to the SD card, under folder DCIM, and see all the pictures, but that I took with the phone and the ones I copied over from the PC. But once I select a picture it just does't go to the contact. The contact editor still show's the default picture of a silhouette, and won't use the picture I selected. So,
how can I add pictures that I moved from my PC to the SD card as contact pictures?Where are the pictures stored in internal memory? Where are all those fancy silhouettes kept?

I have a iPhone 4 with the latest iOS. When I add a contact to my phone, I choose a contact picture from the photo library. I make a test call to the number, and the photo appears full size. The moment I leave the contact screen and try to make a test call again (for example, adding the contact to my favorites and using a favorite link to make a test call) the picture appears as a thumbnail. This happens immediately and to every contact I have. I sync the contact list with Google contacts.

When I add a pic to a contact from my iPhone it is full screen but after a few calls it reverts back to the small thumbnail size.
Any way to fix is so it stays fullscreen?
got a problem when making calls... When hitting dial button display goes to sleep and can't be reactivated till other party ends call.Strangely this does not happen during hands free mode in the car.

I have a Bold 9700 and currently have v5.0.0.423 (Platform 5.1.0.116) software on the phone. I have done one software upgrade since getting the phone in February.
I have an intermittent problem, that when the phone rings, it shows a contacts name, but it isn't that person who is phoning, it does however display the right number which is currently ringing.. So the number isn't the contacts' it shows. This happens with saved contacts as well as none saved one, it shows random contact names.
Then I also can not do a full shutdown. If I choose "Turn power off", it gives me two options: "Turn off" and "Full power off". Whichever one I choose, it just does the quick shutdown and not the long reboot one.
Both these problems started after upgrading my software to v5.0.0.432.
I want to backup my contact, there are 619 entries - Mark all entries of contact - Create a backup from phone memory to memory card - It can only copy 45 entries, the rest was not copied

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I discovered that when I navigate to a particular contact (it just happens to be the people I talk, email, text with most often) their information doesn't open up when I click on the trackpad.This only seems to be happening with specific contacts and not the majority of people in my address book.At this point I can only get my frequent contact's specific information (phone numbers, email addresses etc) by clicking the trackpad to find their contact name, clicking again on the menu key (I cannot click view either) and then selecting email, call, sms, mms etc and only then can I do the specific task.This is a new problem so I'm wondering if I've turned off some feature on my frequent contacts when I updated my FAcebook app on my phone.
