How much Contacts can I save in my Nokia N97 32GB? I have just now synchronized the phone with my Outlook contact folder (3800 contacts). Memory details of adressbook show 3800 contacts and 2058 KB used space. But if try to search for a contact I get a message: contacts memory is full, close programs and try again. What can I do to solve this issue?

I've gone into everything on the memory and plugged it into computer and can't see anything that takes up anywhere near that amount of space.I have updated to firmware 20.0.019 after it was eventually released for my code and it made sweet F A difference, even though it's supposed to free up memory.If anyone knows anything about how to sort this please let me know, as it's starting to **bleep** me off by making videos jump and i can't update other things like ovi maps because "memory is full".

And after I registered at TuneWiki, the app scanned my music, and after that I got an error saying that: Disk space exhausted. Please cleanup the disk or re-install application on another drive. I have been using my Nokia 5230 as normal for a couple of months, and have noticed that the phone memory is always full or close to full. I have a memory card on there which I use for all my music etc. After reading other posts I cleared my browser cache which freed up 7MB or so. I also discovered 16MB in installed applications. Yet I still have about 55MB unaccounted for. I then bought a USB cable to connect it to the computer and investigate on windows explorer. The properties of the root drive for the phone memory show as mostly in use, yet when I go through each of the individual folders nothing is there. I do not have many applications installed and they are set up to install on the memory card anyway.
Can anyone please solve my problem as to where on earth this 55MB of unaccounted memory is coming from?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI know this has been discussed lots before but I can't seem to "find" a solution that works for me.The N97 phone memory 64MB shows full but when I look at it under Explorer I can only see about 25Mb of material.Where is the rest of the memory going to? I have gone through all the folders and files via expoler and can't find anything bigger than 2MB except Maps at 9MB. When I add them all up it comes to just over 25MB.Any tips on what I could move to the Mass Memory delete to free up some memory. As far as I can tell everything that can run off the Mass Memory is already there (text messages, images, music, apps etc).Are there some sort of log files or crash files that I could delete without hurting the phones operating system?

And there obviously wasn't much memory since when people called me it played the default tune which is a sign that it is low on memory.However i look at the phone memory 35mb free.Look at the open applications, and apart from the contacts there was nothing else, but i closed the contacts never the less.However it still kept saying this.However it has seemed to stop now and be fine but never the less i would still like to know if there is any reason that i haven't thought of, of why it might have been saying this?

Lets be clear, I have NEVER had the scotiabank app on my phone, so that cannot be the issue. Also, I have never even used NFC, nor did I ever have it turned on. So how my "capacity" can be full is beyond me?I have a Sony Z3 copper, currently running D6603, with a Qualcomm processor. Android v5.1.1 installed.I can tell you, that without a doubt this is one of the most annoying messages I have ever seen on any phone, and I have had a few over the years. The exact message: "Capacity for NFC Services Full", when you click on the message, it shows 159% full, yet I have never used NFC since I got this phone in April. I also never got this message until the lollipop update.
I have tried a backup, and complete re-install from PC, that did not change anything.The only thing that takes the message away is to enable NFC services! I have no real desire to do that, but in order to be able to use my phone with the annoyance, I have turned it on.This has been going on for a long time, and I am certain someone like myself who has NEVER used the scotiabank app must also be getting this annoying message?

I see memory phone of 256 MB full with USB connected to PC. When I look inside the folders, nothing in some, no large file in others.
1. Why the phone memory is full? I did not install apps on the C drive aka phone memory, I did not put photos, videos or anything there, I don't use email.
2. Why I cannot find the files that occupy the memory? No large file can be seen.
3. Is this the cause of phone auto restarting and the cause some applications are crashing, closing in front of my eyes or in the background?
Why when I receive a simple call and I have only a game open after the call ends the game is already crashed / closed?
