Aug 3, 2011the one thing that bugs the crap out of me is that the hard grey back cover doesnt line up flush with the softer top black peice where the speakers and camera are. it came out of the box this way. its only on the right side though (if im looking at the screen). it is perfectly fine on the side where the camera and power button are and fine in the center.i know to some this may seem trivial especially if you dont have this issue but i feel like i paid A LOT for this device and should have the quality build that was intended by motorola and was expected by me. the consumer.is this something that i could send in to moto to get adjusted? am i better off trying to "fix" it myself? am i alone in this issue?

May 26, 2011High resolution Images or pictures from camera or web appear dotted and low quality. I see curved patterns in images with large Color Gradients. Also pictures or video taken from Atrix camera looks grainy and negative-like patches in dark areas.Is this a common problem? Could it be because of display resolution of the phone.

Jun 2, 2011I have had AT&T and my Motorola Atrix for a little over a month now. It was a day after my 30 days to return the phone when I noticed that I had a brown line going down the left side of my screen. When I brought the problem up to AT&T they wanted to replace the phone with one of there refurbished phones. I decided to keep my current phone since I just spent 200 dollars on the phone. Last night while charging the phone while it was powered down I noticed that the brown line had now turned green and was bigger but still just on the left side of the phone. I have completed checked for updates and the phones says "up to date". I am lost for what to do I love the phone and leaving Verizon was the best move I made.

Mar 20, 2012I have a daughther that is 16 months old and sometimes while traveling we will start a movie on the Xoom for her to watch. But being that she is young, she loves to touch the screen which usually causes the movie to stop.
I have searched the Google Play for an app that would allow the screen and buttons to lock for a toddler and still show what is on the screen, but I have not found one yet. The screen could still be unlocked, but it would be like the lid to a medicine bottle, only a grown-up could unlock it.

I've noticed an issue since I got the tablet a few months ago; every once in a while, when opening a URL from outside the browser, the screen will flicker, like the connection to the LCD has gone bad. It is corrected by tilting the tablet to change the orientation from landscape to portrait, and then everything is fine. The issue only happens when opening the browser from inside another app - by clicking on a link in the gmail app, for instance.

Jun 6, 2011On occasion, when I hold my Xoom so that it is tilted backwards (i.e. I'm lying down and the Xoom is held in front of me slightly tiled back) the screen becomes totally unresponsive to taps. If I tilt the screen forward and retap it seems to work fine or if I press the standby/power button on and off it seems to reset and work fine. This happens about 25% of the time and once it starts it continues until I reboot.

Jul 13, 2010Is this the same as an upgrade swap? I actually talked to ATT via online chat, and they said once an iPhone 4 is ordered, its stuck to that line. But im pretty sure thats not true.So I want to add a line with iPhone 4 then once I receive her, put it on my primary line, use a dummy phone on the new line, and cancel data on the new line. It works out because I need a new line anyway, I have unlimited data on my primary line, and it saves me some $$ in getting the iPhone at full discount price.
The only thing I was worried about was being able to cancel data, but the ATT rep said I can cancel data at any time. And to order online, I would need to add the single line to my account and order it, once I receive it then I can switch to family plan.Will I need to do the same call ATT and give them IMEI's of everything to swap? Jun 13, 2011I have read the discussions on the screen glare on the xoom and do not find the answer to my question. I was told by sales person to install the Zagg Screen protectant. I did so and what a mess, so I took it back to Best Buy and they replaced it and installed it for another $15. I went outside to take some pictures of a quail and her 15 babies and could seen nothing on the screen. Tried different ways. Then I thought about doing work or play with my Xoom outside on the deck and that was a lost cause too.
What can I do to get rid of the glare on the Xoom screen with the Zagg installed? Can I put something over the Zagg? It was not cheap and I paid to have it installed.The person who answered my question I though was just making a joke. I tried full brightness of the screen and my sunglasses. IT WORKED> Kind of dark but good enough to see what I was taking a picture of I need to find the name of the last reply because that was the one with the answer that worked.
