Nokia Pictures/Videos :: Can't View Photos In C6 01?
May 27, 2011My c6 01does not show any images.when i open the photos,it shows empty..bt i can view them by opening the memory card..i cant set a song for slide show. It simply shows "no songs",eventhough i hav several songs in my phone.

Mar 5, 2012Nokia N8 -- Belle Since updating to Belle, all my old videos I have filmed refuse to appear in teh normal Gallery. Any new videos I record go into teh Gallery as normal. Is there anyway to force teh gallery to rescan memory to fidn teh videos? It was fantastic having the videos and pictures in the same place sorted by date taken. Now it's just plain horrible. I thought about "syncing" the videos, backed up to my PC, to the phone using Nokia Suite, in the hope they would then appear in the Gallery, however it seems to insist on "transcoding" the videos! (Even though they were originally recorded on this phone!)

Since then, whatever pictures i took doesnt appear in Gallery and all my PDF documents are still missing and movies that I've downloaded too. How? Ive tried restoring. Still nothing.But when i back up my phone using Nokia Link, the items i cant find on my phone are all backed-up.

Jul 4, 2012I'm having a problem accessing photos and videos taken using my N8. Usually, such files are accessible by plugging it to a computer, with the phone either set to PC Suite or Mass Storage Mode.That was before. Now I can't. I've just noticed it just a week ago or so, and this problem still continues until now.I'm not sure what caused this, and I didn't have this problem before. I'm not sure either if this problem was caused by my recent update to Nokia Belle.Old photos and videos taken are completely accessible but the new ones I've recently captured are not accessible via PC Suite or Mass Storage Mode. It does not show in my PC or my laptop (both runs on Windows 7). The photos and videos are only accessible in the phone itself. The only way for me to transfer recently taken photos and videos is by sending it via Bluetooth to my laptop, which is very time consuming.

Dec 5, 2011Last week I noticed that all my photos and videos have are missing from gallery and i thought I might have deleted them accidentally, but discovered tht after taking a picture they go missing withing a short time, A carefull search with OVI suite and my PC revealed tht all the videos and photos are still in the E;mass memory but for some reason I cant access them from my phone.
I also noticed tht there seem to be a problem with the E:mass memory when I access it through file manager. I cannot access any of my folders saved in the E: memory.

Mar 9, 2012Sometimes when I take pictures and/or videos with my phone, I can't see the picture or video on my phone. I take a photo. The phone acts like it took a photo. I see a thumbnail initially. When I try to view it again, there is just an icon and the photo is gone. It will say it isn't viewable or a video isn't playable. Can't view them if I transfer them to my computer either. I don't understand what the problem is because sometimes it works just fine. I can still see old photos or videos. The formats are exactly the same as the old photos. I didn't change the settings.

Jul 8, 2011On my DX, whenever I went to the Gallery, I was presented with the folders on my SD card that contained photos and videos. One folder I had was called "Wallpapers". On the DX2, all photos and videos get lumped together and there is no way of navigating to the folder that contains the photos or videos you want to see or play.I understand that there is a way to "group" photos and videos by day, week, or month. Fine. But why not also let you group them by the folders they are in on your SD card?If you click on "My library" and then click on the "My Library: Timeline" drop-down button at the top of the screen, you get a popup that shows you can view your "My library" by Albums, Locations, Tags, and Timeline. Again, why not also include the folders that they are in on your SD card? I was hoping that was what viewing your library by "Albums" would be, but that's not the case. When I click on that, I get two albums: "All videos" and "All photos". Not very convenient if you want to view a particular movie, video clip, or photo. I don't want to have to sort through a folder containing ALL of the videos or ALL of the photos.
Here's the problem as I see it in practice:Say you want to change your wallpaper. Okay, long-press on your home screen and select "Wallpapers". Now, select where you want to pull your wallpaper from. "Gallery". On my DX, it would take me to the Gallery and it would show separate folders for Camera, All Photos, and the folder I created for all of my wallpapers, called "Wallpapers". So then I could click on the "Wallpapers" folder and easily select the image I wanted as my wallpaper.ith the DX2, after long-pressing on your home screen and selecting "Wallpapers" and then "Gallery" as the source, it takes you straight to ALL of your pictures. I have more than 1,700 on my SD card so I don't want to scroll through all of them just to find the wallpaper images I saved that are mixed in with photos I took with my phone, downloaded images, etc. Sure, if you click on the Menu button and select "Group by", you can group all of the thousands of images by Day, Week, or Month, but again that doesn't help since who the heck knows when those wallpapers were created?

Mar 21, 2012my camera isnt working... I'm able to view all of my past photos and videos fine. But when it comes to take new ones i'm unable to do so. When I launch the camera app it stays stuck on a closed shutter; when I press the camera button to snap a new photo/vid nothing happens... it just stays on this lovely screen.

This is basically OK, but the problem is: not only my own recorded videos are synced, but also video podcasts which I have downloaded on my phone, and any other videos I might have put on my sd-card.This is sometimes a few hundred megabytes, so it always takes ages to synchronize my photos.Is there a way to make Ovi Suite sync only pictures, not videos?
