Since I updated my N8 to nokia belle, my messages in inbox only show up as conversations. I click on "Messaging", I see converstions - but I want to be able to see the folders (inbox, sent items, drafts, etc...) see folders instead of conversations.
View 4 RepliesI recently just noticed that 3 of my contacts messages are being stored together when i group messages by contact as well as in the conversation window.The only thing in common with all these contacts is that they all have the same surename because their first names and contact numbers are all different.Is there anyway I can stop this from happening and seperate the messages that have previously been grouped togtether?

Problem: By default text messages are in conversation view.
1) Does "Asha 308" Support folder "View Flders"?
2) If yes then please tell the method!
3) If not then how can this feature be suggested to Nokia, so it can in incorporated in any new mobile software release.
m using nokia 5800..... i want to ask u wht shud i do so dat i can use the messages department as a conversation...... like it is ther in nokia 5233 or blackberry......is ther any update for that?

When i open the message folder there is only "no conversations" written, dispite the fact i have new messages in the inbox folder. My question is how can i restore/enable the consversation view, so the incoming messages are able to be seen in conversation view?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI got the Curve 8530 on Verizon... I receive a text message from a person, go to the sms icon on my home screen and click on it. My bb shows the new message with the persons's name and a preview of the text. I click on it to view it but it doesnt open the conversation. Then I'll try an older conversation and it works fine. But what is strange is that it will only continue to happen to that one contact. So ill receive a new text from someone else and i can read it with no problems.

I've made sure that under more/settings play sound on new messages and vibrate on new messages are checked, but the phone doesn't do that.

It looks OK but although I was able to view status of battery in old version, currently either I couldn't find how or there is no such thing anymore. View 8 Replies View RelatedNokia N8 -- Belle Since updating to Belle, all my old videos I have filmed refuse to appear in teh normal Gallery. Any new videos I record go into teh Gallery as normal. Is there anyway to force teh gallery to rescan memory to fidn teh videos? It was fantastic having the videos and pictures in the same place sorted by date taken. Now it's just plain horrible. I thought about "syncing" the videos, backed up to my PC, to the phone using Nokia Suite, in the hope they would then appear in the Gallery, however it seems to insist on "transcoding" the videos! (Even though they were originally recorded on this phone!)

I can play BBC1, BBC2, BBC4 & Parliament live (& maybe others) but when I try BBC News live all I get is "Loading". I am using BT Broadband Wifi, I'm on O2 SIM free, and live in the UK.
Everything was OK on my previous N97. I can't seem to find anything about this on Nokia forums or the BBC. I have just put a query to the BBC but they don't guarantee to answer them all?
Upgraded my Nokia N8-00 to Nokia Belle today. Everything is great - phone feels much faster, menus are speedier, looks are stunning, no hitches or data loss during upgrade (except for few applications like Fring which disappeared). So congratulations on your fabulous work on the Belle firmware!A big grouse however is the redesign of the Messaging application. I am used to seeing the good old folder-based view of Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Sent, etc. as soon as I open the Messaging app (I'm sure that's the case with most people).However, in Belle, when I open Messaging, I see all my messages from all folders in one place (arranged by date & time). This is very, very confusing and not pleasant at all, since messaging is one of the most important things done on a phone, even today.I know I can still see the folder-based view by clicking on the rightmost option in taskbar and selecting "View folders". But I don't want to be doing that everytime.
