Nokia :: Messages From 3 Contacts Mixed In Conversation View

I recently just noticed that 3 of my contacts messages are being stored together when i group messages by contact as well as in the conversation window.The only thing in common with all these contacts is that they all have the same surename because their first names and contact numbers are all different.Is there anyway I can stop this from happening and seperate the messages that have previously been grouped togtether?

Since I updated my N8 to nokia belle, my messages in inbox only show up as conversations. I click on "Messaging", I see converstions - but I want to be able to see the folders (inbox, sent items, drafts, etc...) see folders instead of conversations.
I have two Nokia phones - one is mine and one is my partners. Both phones sync with OVI suite but I want to keep two separate profiles. When my phone is synced all my contacts are mixed up with my partners' and vice versa.
This is so retarded, i get a msg come in it opens into conversation view?. I want normal Inbox view.... that means i have to close message not open it, go to menue messaging inbox? Also wants me to reply via convo view its so tiny Nokia fix this with update disable Convo view choice??
i have a little problem with the conversation view. I don`t know what exactly i`ve done but now ì can`t see the messages in conversation view. When i open the message folder there is only "no conversations" written, dispite the fact i have new messages in the inbox folder. My question is how can i restore/enable the consversation view, so the incoming messages are able to be seen in conversation view?
when i first got my phone (bold 9900) a few days ago, it was perfect, and for some reason, when ive been sending text messages now, my messages will appear at the top , and all my recieved message will be at the bottom?and another thing, all the messages im recieving, says that they were deliverd at 7.27am!and thats not just for one message, every message my friend has sent to me, on the right side it says 7:27am. and at the top, under my friends name, it says 'recieved one minute ago' ? when it was about 2 hours ago?
The phone icon has disappeared from my desktop and it's not in any folders. In essence, I can't make any outgoing calls or check voicemail. how to get back my phone icon?
So my problem is that after I update to PR1.2, its not showing any contacts when I tap on New IM in Conversations. I am confused about one more thing which might be related to this problem. The problem is its failing every time when i try to install Extra protocol plug-ins for Conversations and Contacts. So i installed Pidgin. I use just Yahoo messenger on my phone. Any of you suffering from same pain?
m using nokia 5800..... i want to ask u wht shud i do so dat i can use the messages department as a conversation...... like it is ther in nokia 5233 or blackberry......is ther any update for that?
I'm thinking about switching to the HTC One from the iPhone. Can someone with the phone confirm whether the phone's stock email app (the one you use to connect to exchange, not the gmail app) supports conversation/threaded view?
I've had my iPhone for quite a while now and i have been sending a lot of messages every day in both separate and group chats via imessage and now i would like to view the full conversation. I want to see what me and my friends were texting about for some months ago.
I've had my c3-01 for a couple weeks; up until yesterday the text message conversation view was display the contact name - now all I can see is the mobile number.if i switch to inbox view the contact names are display?
As seeked over the Internet, it turns out that me and so many others are facing the problem of not being able to turn on and off conversation view on android Gmail app. I wonder why Sony support still didnt care enough to fix it.
I have a Storm 9530 v5.0.0.328 Verizon and I just have done a update played with it after and like all the upgrades but the way my conversation looks in SMS. I really don't like way the text looks too much like IM is there any way to change view back to a preview version.
I'm having two issues with texting on my Blackberry Bold 9700.
1-I can't send or receive texts from certain contacts (right now it only seems to be from my boyfriend, we're both on At&t).
2-My text threads lock-up. A new text comes in, but I can't actually open the message. I can open all the previous messages, but any message at the top won't open.
Just got this phone (Curve 8520) and was told it had conversation view for text.I guess it doesn't.Now I am wondering if there are any programs to get this? If so what is the best/easiest to use?
I got the Curve 8530 on Verizon... I receive a text message from a person, go to the sms icon on my home screen and click on it. My bb shows the new message with the persons's name and a preview of the text. I click on it to view it but it doesnt open the conversation. Then I'll try an older conversation and it works fine. But what is strange is that it will only continue to happen to that one contact. So ill receive a new text from someone else and i can read it with no problems.
For some reason when trying to use either the AOL IM or Google Chat client, the phone doesn't make any audio notifications of new messages in a conversation. I've made sure that under more/settings play sound on new messages and vibrate on new messages are checked, but the phone doesn't do that.
I don't have a nokia store any close to my place, so I cannot deal with it. It is this annoying mixed up letters when I'm writing. So what happened was that I updated my software on my nokia n97 min to 30.0.004. After the update , when I went to write a message , most of the letters are mixed up - if I press A it's Q and so on..It's really difficult using my phone since all it's messed up, and even worst- if I go on the web browser they are even more messed up then when I am writing a message. I really have no idea what to do. I already reinstalled the software at least 10 times but the same problem is coming over and over again. I don't understand why, when I did it trough Ovi suite, so it is supposed to be the right software. Is there any another place where I can download the software manually and install it manually?
I want to change contacts list's view type to name and number* in my Nokia 6720C, but I see no settings, there is only "change fist,last name" in the settings.
For some reason when I send messages to peaople on my phone the messages appear at the top of the conversation, as if the phone has reset the conversation but not deleted the old messages, and my contacts appear at the bottom of the new messages page, its like they've been flipped.
I jus got this blackberry from my brother and i was just wondering if I could jus get all my messages i get from the same person be in one conversation . Like my inbox is jus flooded from the same person.Like can it be one conversation with 20 messages in it. instead of 20 messages wit the conversation as they go?

I'm wondering how i can get rid of the word 'sending...' up the top when in messages, in a certain conversation it has been there for days i have gone through the entire conversation and i can NOT find which message it is referring to! as far as i can see all the messages in this conversation have been "sent as Text Message" OR sent as iMessage.

When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.
I am new to Blackberry Smartphones and bought 9780, I had been using it for about 3 months, Its very new to c all the messages are in default conversation mode, I cannot able to make it into normal view too. And after which when i searched for earlier month messages i found that those are missing and I cannot able to find it else where. How to find the earlier messages, because there are some important messages in it. And I want to close this conversation style and bring it to normal style.
Is there a way for to send a bunch of SMS messages 'conversation' that are in the same thread to another person?I want to send the conversation to another person but it only seems to let me send one SMS at a time.
Ok, so when I am in the compose message view I start typing a name to send a message to and the phone shows me all numbers for that contact, even if I deleted that number... for example say my contact Lewis upgrades and gets a new number, I edit his contact, deleting the old number and replacing it with the new. Then when I type LEW into the compose message "to" section it shows all numbers ever stored under that name, if you know what I mean..? So i am typing someones name getting multiple numbers even if they only have 1 number to there name.This also seems to be the case if someone registers a number to FB and I overwrite that number with a new number
