I own a Samsung Galaxy S-5, and after a Samsung software update (performed on February 13, 2015) all of my pictures in my Gallery under my camera tab have disappeared. I called Samsung and they had me search the phone in several places to look for the pictures with no luck. Has anyone lost pictures after an update? How to find my photos? I did not have auto-back up on, but I do now.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my mini pro yesterday night. Overall response is fast.Camera application is looking weird with limited functions. The 2.3.4 version of camera application shoots better pictures than the updated camera application. Camera window opens and shows up the visuals as if they are zoomed in by default despite not using zoom in feature.I'm disappointed with this update of camera functions.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy 1020 seems to have a problem when set to infinity focus...the pictures end up a bit blurry. The strange thing is that on autofocus the picture is perfectly sharp...which makes me think this is a software issue rather than hardware.
I uploaded 2 pictures to show you the issue. Both were taken on a tripod and 2 seconds self timer to avoid handshake. ISO was set at 100 and everything else left on auto except for focus mode.

I have an issue, removed film on lense... But pics blur on the edges of video or pictures as if it's out of focus... Although the center is focused on.... Is this normal or should I take it back...

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason today when i opened up my camera to take a few shots it had problem auto focusing on items close to me, as you know when you tap the screen to focus on a point in the screen you get the circle and a small beep to let you know it's focusing ok, it seemed to have problems getting to this point and there was an audible high pitched buzzing or clicking sound coming from the lens itself and the screen image would not come into focus
the phone has not been dropped or roughly handled so i am 100% sure it's not an issue caused by being knocked, i have tried a reset and a reboot but the issue still remains, also i have done no recent updates and there are none showing so that's not the issue either
First log in to facebook and also the facebook app. Once your logged in go to settings/apps/facebook and disable the app, go back to the gallery and remove facebook. You will now see facebook pictures removed. Go back to settings and apps and enable facebook app once again. Open the app and you should be logged in and go to gallery and you shall not see facebook pictures!

I restore a bunch of photo's and put them in DCIM > Camera folder along with the other pictures I've take, but those don't show up either. All pictures are on the microSD-Card in folders like 'E:ImagesCamera201106...'. How can I tell the gallery-programm to scan these directory for images? If I make a shot with teh camera, the folder of this month will be found and all pictures inside will be shown. After deleting this new image, the content of the folder is no longer present. Also all pictures from the months before will not be shown. My phone is a 5800XM with FW 51.0.006

I had to replace my first iPhone 5 after only 15 months because the rear camera couldn't auto-focus anymore (a well-documented problem), and I had to pay for a replacement phone. I have an N8 and haven't upgraded it to Bella. I can't access to my pictures in my phone. If I go to the pictures gallery and select albums it says "837 captured items" but when I select the file it shows nothing, it says "no images or video clips"!!!.
I know they are in E:
but when I use File manager and enter to E: I can't open the images file, it says "unable to open, file not supported". I don't know what to do, I don't have the cable to connect my phone to my computer and even if I had it I cannot enter to Ovi suite because I have a Mac.
I have N95 8Gb. After installing GPS programm Sygic, I found in my Gallery 20 icons from this program. How I can remove them from Gallery, but not from phone ? And how I can restrict Gallery for showing pictures only from one folder ?
View 5 Replies View Relatedthe gallery app which was included isn't showing any pictures, which is extremly annoying, because many apps, like facebook apps, just show a black screen when I select "upload from gallery" If I open up the Gallery app the screen is just black and no pictures are displayed, only the exit and option buttons. Same problem is with the video app... I've already reseted it three times, but still no change.... And the crazy thing is, that with the photo browser app I'm able to see the pictures... Also there's a problem with switching the ring and alarm-tone. Exactly the same thing, I Do have music on my phone and the player is working... But I can't choose another tone for alarmtone, won't open fricking folder.

Once I took the picture and swiped over to view it in the gallery I was given some message about a better shot being available...or something to that effect. I just clicked 'ok' quickly because I was running late and didn't have time to pay attention to it.
I now have 2 pictures with the same file name, but one of them has _TOP at the end of the name. I thought it might have something to do with Google's auto-enhance feature since I have my pics auto-upload to Google, but only one of the pictures shows up in Google+ on the web, and in the Motorola Gallery. They both show up in the Photos app on my phone, and they both show up in OneDrive since I have them auto-upload there, too. Is it some sort of 'best shot' feature the camera is using? Google+? Photos app?
On my HTC one m7 I was able to draw, write and/or edit the picture in a variety of ways directly from the stock camera/gallery.
