Is there any way for me to organize my email into folders? Right now my mail is simply listed newest first and is very unorganized making it difficult to use. If I could set up folders that I could put mail in, that would be perfect.
I always believe it is better to use folders to organize apps on home screen in terms of better performance. However, I don't like TW lollipop folder icon, so I'm thinking about adding a lot of home screen pages and sort apps on different pages.
Just got my Nexus 5 today after being an iPhone user since 2007. I have searched the forums but could not find a definitive answer to this question: How do you organize emails into conversations in Exchange using the stock email app. I can't seem to find the setting anywhere.
Created a new email account in 5.1.1, but the "New Folder" button doesn't appear on the Mailboxes page, or on any page. Only allows Inbox, Sent, Trash and Drafts. Is there a way to create folders anyway?
I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem please. I have recently purchased a BB-Bold 9700 and transferred my settings from my old Bold. I have to email addresses (both Gmail) registered which appear on my main screen. The push email works fine! However, whenever I send an email, I cannot see the sent mail in the individual email folders but only in the main messages folder which is very annoying and confusing. Here's what I have tried sofar:
1. I tried to go into options and mark "No" in the section indicated hide my sent messages. 2. I tried going into filter and ticking sent messages. They appear but once you press the back button they disappear again. 3. I tried going onto the BB website and I successfully downloaded the newest software update (5.0.0.4) but still it did not resolve the problem....
Do I need to wipe off the whole device? Can someone please help because I'm very confused and frustrated with this issue.....
How do I establish two separate email folders for different email addresses, work and school for instance and have the replies from each folder come from that specific address?
All this time iPhone was out on the market, i needed a way to make the Mail.app to scan into my email folders. i have a Yahoo! account set up and it's only for the Inbox. i have filters/rules that redirect emails to certain folders in the yahoo email account, but the iOS Mail.app doesn't scan in there. is there an alternative? other than entering - step by step - in all the folders?
I have managed to create a little mess out of my iPhone contact list. After syncing my iPhone contacts to my Windows Contacts, my contacts from my computer were placed on my iPhone under a group named From PC. How do I remove this group and also how to I get my iPhone contacts organized according to new groups of my preference?
I'm in the middle of a home renovation and I'm taking pictures of materials, design ideas, the work in progress, etc. I'm also taking other pics too - family, etc. - and I'd like to be able to group pictures other than just chronologically as they are taken so that I don't have to search through 100s of photos. To be able to group all the reno pics together so that I can swipe through them without hitting unrelated photos would be a HUGE timesaver. I know that the edit functions include Delete, Share and Send, but is there a Move function that is hidden somewhere so that I can do so without having to sync with iPhoto or iTunes to manipulate the order?

I recently went through and organized my hotmail account. So if an email comes in from a certain email address it goes into a certain folder automatically instead of the regular inbox. Because of this I now no longer get those emails to my BB. I only get emails that still go to the general inbox.[URL].. and have attempted to set it up but it does not work, it says the only folders I have are inbox and spam, when in reality I have at least 10 other folders. I have tried to use the BB desktop manager thing but I get stuck at step 1 as I cannot find email settings anywhere in the program.
Ive recently changed to a bold 9700 from a curve. Im using bes and i have several folders selected for redirection, however on the bold I cant view these folders all messages are going to the same place.
When i click on view folders i can see mms sms etc but nothing email related?! Im sure its fairly easy but this is driving me up the wall
I want to add folders so that I can store messages in a compact and convenient way for retrieval.
Originally I wanted to set up my Blackberry email in OUtlook, but it seems that is not poossible, so the only alternative is to store my email in folders.
From the research that I have done, it appears that I can add, move, delete or rename email folders on my blackberry device only if I have the enterprise version of the operating system. Is there any way to be able to organize my messages on my device other than a huge inbox as a personal (not enterprise) user?If possible I'd like to synchronize my folders, but I'd settle to just be able to create my own folders on my blackberry for organization purposes.Maybe it's just me, but this seems like a huge weakness when comparing to other types of mobile devices.
i have recently changed from an iphone to the bold 9900 - setup email accounts and sync'd with outlook on my laptop no problems.BUT i cannot get it to sync my inbox subfolders.i have tried the mapping option in the advance options for sync but it just will not allow it ??am i missing something? does it have to be on an exchange server ?
I can see the folders and they are correctly identified when highlighted however when I click on one it opens as one of the other folders ( always the same one) with that folders contents . I can see message headings but can't open. The only way I can access new messages to these folders is via the Messages Folder which actually shows an alert when an email message arrives (the other folders dont even show the alert)My aol account seems to work fine but the Gmail and other emails dont.
I have 3 email addresses setup on my Bold 9900. In the last week, I must have switched something because whenever I open the messages folder, I only see my text messages. Similarily, when I try to open any of the three email folders...the text messages folder opens. I know I am receiving emails but I cannot access the email folders. They appear but when I open them the text message folder opens.
Before the ICS update (which has been a nightmare - 4 hours with Verizon trying to fix my phone....) hitting "settings" had an option for showing all folders. Now I can only find the inbox - where did "sent" mail and "Trash" go?
I upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich on my Galaxy S2 yesterday and now I've lost visibility of my Exchange sub-folders within the default Email app. If I open up Email it defaults to my Inbox, but when I hit the menu key and select folders the only ones I can see are the main root folders, Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent, Deleted etc. I have a load of sub-folders underneath my Inbox that I need to be able to get to on my phone as I use it for work. This all worked fine on Gingerbread.I've removed my Exchange account from the phone and re-added it, but this made no difference. Interestingly on re-adding the account and going into the folders section I saw all my sub-folders and then as the initial sync was occurring they were removed one by one until it left me with the same default folders as I mentioned above.
