Jun 24, 2012I have an iPhone 4S, running iOS 5.1.1 (9B206). About two weeks ago (not really sure when I noticed) a phone number appeared at the bottom of my Favorites list. The number is for a person that I deleted from Contacts some months ago. The number is not in the Contact list anywhere, the contact does not exist. I've tried recreating the contact (and Favorites then shows the name) and then deleting the contact, and its still there in the Favorites list. There is a facetime icon next to the number. If I turn off Facetime, the number disappears.

Nokia :: Ovi Maps 3.04 Search And Rename Address To Favorites - But Favorites Folder Is Empty?
Aug 3, 2010I have a Nokia 5230 (RM-588) with firmware 20.0.005 and Ovi Maps 3.04. Memory card is Kingston 8GB. I downloaded maps that I needed and everything is working OK from that point.
Here is the problem: I search for an address (offline), Ovi Maps finds it, I rename it and save it to Favourites. I repeat that with some other addresses. Then I turn off the Ovi Maps and navigation and after I start it again, my folder Favourites - Places is empty. Any idea why the Favourites are not saved ?
Nokia :: Lost Favorites After Reformatted And Reinstalled Apps To N97 - How To Get Back Favorites
Jul 28, 2010After an issue with my N97 where I was unable to do any backups from the phone to the internal memory card, I reformatted and reinstalled the apps to my N97 (making sure I did a backup using PC Suite before hand).
Upon restoring the PC Suite image, I found that it didn't restore the list of favourites which have meant that I've lost them all - I'm sure I remember that the backup to memory card did make a copy of them, but as I wasn't able to do this, this wasn't a possible solution .....
Luckily, Google Maps have most of my starred items (favourites) saved, (barring the one I managed to unstar by accident), but it appears as if Google doesn't store the actual co-ordinates and doesn't allow them to be exported ... So in short - is there anyway at all I can get my favourites back ?

Aug 28, 2010I am using the "All" menu on my torch as my main menu. I have it set up similarly to my old Bold 9700. I use that for everything except Media, where I do use the "Media" menu page. However, that left me with little use for the "Favorites" menu page. So I decided to delete everything there and load it up with my most often used contacts.
When you highlight a contact on the contact list, your Blackberry Key menu has an option "Add to Home Screen." That opens a window where you can choose a location and mark it as a favorite. If you leave the default location of "home" the contact will appear on both the home and favorites menu, which I did not want. Since I already had created a "Junk" folder, I simply move the contact to that folder and mark as a favorite at the same time. Now My "Favorites" menu is populated ONLY with many of my most used contacts. And when they appear on a menu page, you can tap/hold the contact icon to get several options such as call, pin, text, email, etc...

Jan 3, 2012When I set up, or attempt to, the favorites I can't get past 10 contacts in the 20 boxes provided. I press the + sign to add contacts, but when I press additional contacts they get inserted over some of the existing contacts thereby removing the others. When I press "favorites" at the top of the screen all of my choices appear on a list, but they don't all fill the 20 boxes.

To be able to group all the reno pics together so that I can swipe through them without hitting unrelated photos would be a HUGE timesaver. I know that the edit functions include Delete, Share and Send, but is there a Move function that is hidden somewhere so that I can do so without having to sync with iPhoto or iTunes to manipulate the order?

Aug 2, 2011for a lighter topic i thought i would share how i setup my homescreen. i dont like to scroll around screens looking for stuff or open the app drawer looking for it either.ne of my favorite apps is Folder Organizer and i make good use of it on all my Android devices. i also realize that the D3 has a similar built in function for folders but it is not nearly as feature rich as what i use so i prefer my 3rd party app for this.Here are a few screen shots:i have blanked out some pics and personal info)hen i choose any of the icons not on my dock i get all the apps i setup to be associated with that folder. here is my tools folder open. if you have more apps than can fit on the screen its ok the folder will scroll to show you all the apps:
here is a shoot of my screen where i labeled my icons so you can see where i am putting my stuff but of course this is just to show you and my screen does not have these labels. i dont like labels on anything since i know what they are:i use folder organizer to make new custom direct links for the camera and camcorder since i like those icons better and i dont want them labeled. you can use icons from any icon set that you have which is nice or folder organizer comes with a lot itself.this is not an ad for folder organizer it is just what i use and i thought i would share my setup.

I thought that it would create an album where you could see all pictures from the same person. Is that right?! I can do it in "Google Photos", its organize automatically all pictures that the person appears.
I don't know if it is possible. But would be great if for example, in the " Contacts" we could select a person and see also the photos that the person is tagged in your gallery, not only the number, email, etc.
