Dec 14, 2015In Gallery, there is an option "tag someone", where you can tag people that appear in your pictures. But, nothing is changed when I tag anyone.
I thought that it would create an album where you could see all pictures from the same person. Is that right?! I can do it in "Google Photos", its organize automatically all pictures that the person appears.
I don't know if it is possible. But would be great if for example, in the " Contacts" we could select a person and see also the photos that the person is tagged in your gallery, not only the number, email, etc.

Aug 27, 2010I only wanted to buy one item. So I picked it up and wait in the line. When I got to the cashier she spit in my face and walked away! So I was like.ok, well that was weird. I will try another line.I waited patiently in another line, I noticed a sign that said 'Authenticating' I thought that's cool...soon it will be my turn. I waited some more and finally, results.oh, my face is all wet again, another spit in the face by the cashier. And she walked away.I repeated the wait/get spat on cycle about a dozen times, finally I said I guess I can live without this item, and I left the store.When people try to buy software from App-World, and over a _DOZEN_ times see a message 'BlackBerry App World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry App World Server - Verify your network connections and try again' This is like getting spat in the face. My network is FINE!I have seen this message every since the change in app world.How many other people are seeing this same message when trying to login to App World? Every pal of mine on a BB sees the same thing when trying to buy apps from app world.

Aug 2, 2011for a lighter topic i thought i would share how i setup my homescreen. i dont like to scroll around screens looking for stuff or open the app drawer looking for it either.ne of my favorite apps is Folder Organizer and i make good use of it on all my Android devices. i also realize that the D3 has a similar built in function for folders but it is not nearly as feature rich as what i use so i prefer my 3rd party app for this.Here are a few screen shots:i have blanked out some pics and personal info)hen i choose any of the icons not on my dock i get all the apps i setup to be associated with that folder. here is my tools folder open. if you have more apps than can fit on the screen its ok the folder will scroll to show you all the apps:
here is a shoot of my screen where i labeled my icons so you can see where i am putting my stuff but of course this is just to show you and my screen does not have these labels. i dont like labels on anything since i know what they are:i use folder organizer to make new custom direct links for the camera and camcorder since i like those icons better and i dont want them labeled. you can use icons from any icon set that you have which is nice or folder organizer comes with a lot itself.this is not an ad for folder organizer it is just what i use and i thought i would share my setup.

Feb 19, 2011I've been battling this problem for several months now. For some reason, occassionaly when I get a text message the ringtone goes off but I don't see any message in my message inbox. If I have an idea who sent it I'll text them to resend it and then the second time it comes through. This happens for both SMS and MMS messages and from people who I text all the time. I've tried pulling the battery multiple times but that didn't help. I thought the latest OS update from Verizon would help but it didn't. I've checked my memory and I still have plenty of memory left on the device. I am starting to delete Apps I don't regularly use but that hasn't helped yet. Does anyone else have any ideas? One other weird thing that happened before the update from Verizon but not since then is that when I'd send a text to a single person, if there was a previous time when I had sent or received a text from them and several others were included in that text, then the new text would be associated with that group instead of the individual person.

Apr 26, 2012I'm in the middle of a home renovation and I'm taking pictures of materials, design ideas, the work in progress, etc. I'm also taking other pics too - family, etc. - and I'd like to be able to group pictures other than just chronologically as they are taken so that I don't have to search through 100s of photos. To be able to group all the reno pics together so that I can swipe through them without hitting unrelated photos would be a HUGE timesaver. I know that the edit functions include Delete, Share and Send, but is there a Move function that is hidden somewhere so that I can do so without having to sync with iPhoto or iTunes to manipulate the order?

Nov 14, 2010When I was using my x10 when it was only 1.6, when you typed a letter using the android keyboard, it would give multiple word suggestions (ie. i - is, it, in, etc.) which helped a lot. But with 2.1, if I turn it's word suggestions, it only provides me with proper names or contact names.Any way to allow 2.1 to use word suggestions other than these proper/contact names? I don't like the default keyboard.

Dec 29, 2015I'm having issues with DPI change, I used ADB to change the DPI using a simple adb shell wm density 460 && adb reboot, all good, only issue is a few things are.. weird.. For instance the "top apps" icon, little blue thinggy in the playstore is awkwardly big, it's larger then the font, but I didn't use the phone stock so I don't know if that's just how marshmallow is or if that's a dpi problem. I also noticed when loading The Sims FreePlay, the EA boot logo it extremely over scanned, the letters EA barely fit on the screen, the eBay app, the user display picture is cut off and only shows the bottom right corner on an icon that's huge and again over sized, as well as snapchat sending all of my snaps with extremely small font, yet on my screen before sending they look just fine.
So after looking into this further, the build.prop was never changed, it still says dpi 560, but I know for system files I need to mount /system in order to write to it without root. So I booted to recovery as that allows me write access to system, mounted system, says mounted /system at the bottom of the log, open adb, run adb devices, nothing comes up, it's not found, reboot phone, run adb devices, works fine. What's the deal? I can't get the 6p to work from recovery when mounting /system, it says it's mounted but on the computer end nothing is happening.
I also want to keep this phone as stock as possible, kind of a purist douche bag like that so I don't want to run TWRP, or at least I'm not committed to this DPI change being this important that I want a custom recovery.why I can't mount /system in the stock recovery? or rather, why I can mount it but why it's not working?

Mar 1, 2010Greetings to all on HoFo! Long time lurker, first time poster. Please stay tuned after the question for some remarks.I purchased an HTC Hero months ago from Amazon before I was aware that TELUS was bringing them to Canada. While I love the phone there are a few issues that I would like to address, namely that the there isn't a Canada (English) region to choose when setting up the phone.I have tried my best to search through this and the xda forums, and haven't found out how to correct this. I assume that I will need another ROM, one that has the language/region. Further, I am unable to use 3G on the Fido network, only EDGE and I can't access paid content in the Market, though I think I read somewhere that the EDGE/Market issue is a Fido/Rogers problem (along with the SMS time stamp issue) and there may not be anything I can do for it.
I suppose the big question I have is: what would be missing from this phone that I would want to add in order to take full advantage of the phone?I would also like to thank you all for helping in the past. I have owned several phones (P4000 amongst others) and have always come here to find the answer. Great site and thanks in advance!

May 16, 2011Does anyone know if Samsung plan to make a proper dock for the SGSII? I like the idea of just having a dock on the side so when I come home I can just sit it in there and it will be connected to my TV/AV system and charging. I know the MHL link will allow this but don't like having cables all over the place!!!
