Bold 9700. OS5 v.979I understand that media such as pictures and video can be sorted and organized (folders?) but I've been unsuccessful in figuring out how.

Is there no video media player for N8? I observe that there is no media player for videos and if I have to play video, I will do so by playing the video file one by one. Is there not a way there can be video media palyer to play all the video collections in the phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhere can i find my hidden pics in my media card on my bb9700 I hate to do this, but I simply can't figure it out. Yesterday I had some of my files hidden on my phone that I could not access. The files that I want went to the media card when hidden. I've searched google and tried some suggestions, but I still can't find them. First, is there a way to get to the media card directory? People say to go to explore, but I don't have this on my device i even went on my stock theme from att it takes u too explore but it still don't show my hidden pics what gives.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust like it says, I'm not able to delete pics off my 16 gb card. Actually its more then that. When I press the menu key for options, in the section where " delete" and other options would be, all I show is properties. I've tested another card on my phone, no problems. I've tested this card on another 9700, same problem. Its definitely the card that is messed up. I've tried reformatting (won't let me reformat in my computer, I have to hook my bb up with it inside) and I still have the problem.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAny picture I take save of have already had on my phone won't allow me to view it in the media folder. Even the sample pics won't give me any options. If I push down on the trackpad or hit the blackberry (menu) button it just sits there. Music, vids, ringtones, everything else works fine. Tried reformatting the card and repairing it and nuthing happened. I'm going to download the current OS for at&t and see if that works. I'm on a bold 9700 on at&t running 5.0.0.405. The only thing that I think has happened between the last time I was able to view a picture was I told it to do a wirelees update and the firmware update completed successfully. Anybody have any other ideas?
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust got my 9700 a few weeks ago. The screen is fantastic, the pictures & photos that I transferred to my SD card are shown on the screen with razor sharpness. At least for a while. Then I noticed that when I viewed the photos again from Media -> Pictures, the photos becomes less sharp and appear heavily compressed. This is for both the thumbnail view and the fullscreen sroll view. Does anyone noticed this?
But when I click on Fit to Screen or View Actual Size, the photos become razor sharp again. How do I get the photos to appear razor sharp in the fullscreen scroll view (where I can scroll left and right for next/previous photo)?
If there are no solution to the above, is there any 3rd party app that will allow us to view the photos in fullscreen (and can be scrolled left or right) in full razor sharpness?
I'm was just looking at the app store put my phone down to do something picked it up and I have jvm error 529 on my screen my phone is in great condition don't look at any dodgy websites memory in not full. Why has this happened??? I have lost all my vids and pics which meant a lot to me none have been up loaded to my computer

I can get windows media/audio file to work, but that's it.
Hi there, new blackberry user. I have taken a few pictures with my Bold 9700 and the have shown up in media/pictures/all pictures. Not sure what happened, but now when I take pictures, I can only view them if I explore and go to the pictures folder. How can I go back to viewing all pictures? Any help for a rookie?

Anyway, I have a 2gb card installed but under the settings and memory section it says no card found. is there a way of getting it to reconise the card as my phone says its only got 90MB of internal memorey left which wont do me as I use it as a mp3 player as well.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm in the middle of a home renovation and I'm taking pictures of materials, design ideas, the work in progress, etc. I'm also taking other pics too - family, etc. - and I'd like to be able to group pictures other than just chronologically as they are taken so that I don't have to search through 100s of photos. To be able to group all the reno pics together so that I can swipe through them without hitting unrelated photos would be a HUGE timesaver. I know that the edit functions include Delete, Share and Send, but is there a Move function that is hidden somewhere so that I can do so without having to sync with iPhoto or iTunes to manipulate the order?

I have a BB Bold 2 (9700). The Media Card slot wont lock down the card and keeps springing it out. If i keep the card pressed down it works but wont lock down.

i received this phone from my dad who got a newer version. everything was working fine when he had it, but i took it i went through "security options" and pressed a "security erase" everything he had was reset in order for me to be able to configure my email accounts, etc.but now i can't play any music or videos, not from Internet or from the media player on the phone, i mean it doesn't even play the song that comes for default! an error saying "unable to play content" keeps coming up, and i have already taken out the battery and put it back on three times.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI was using my Blackberry Desktop manager last night to move a video from my laptop to my BB Bold 9000.Now, in the move from my "computer" to a folder on my media card, it DELETED all the videos I had in that folder.I know there were there before I made the move as I saw them located on the bottom part of part of the manager. Then, they were gone.The reason I am in suck a worry about getting these back is they are very personal videos for me. (Of my daughters 1st words, steps, etc)I NEED to get these back.

When I try a soft reset, I get the red indicator light as usual, but instead of resetting, I get a message on my screen that says something along the lines of "Media card installed. All media will be copied onto the device." After this dialog box goes away, the device does NOT reset. Any ideas on why the soft reset no longer works?
I have a problem with my 9700 and I donīt really know if it is the phone or the battery.It shuts down when I use an aplication that needs power, like recording videos, websurfing, downloading/installing apps thats sort of stuff. It goes off, and I have to pull batt to get it started again.If I do it 3 times in a row for example, the battery goes down from 100% to 70% in just the time it needs to restart those 3 times.I tried to do a security wipe, reinstall the os (.862), taking out the micro sd and it keeps shuting down. I donīt know if it could be a battery problem or the phone. any idea?

I can take pictures and do whatever with them right after taking them but when I go into the Media folder and try to open a picture or hit the "menu" button, it doesn't do anything. I've tried rebooting and pulling the battery but it won't open the pictures.

I checked where they are supposed to be stored and everything is right: Media Card/Blackberry/pictures, but still nothing gets displayed! View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB bold 9700 now has a white screen. suspected internal screen crack. i need to save my pics, videos, contacts etc. i have downloaded the BB media sync and BB desktop software from the BB website. when i connect via usb to the desktop P.C it states connecting but never actually connects on bb desktop software. is there anything i can do to save / transfer to dekstop p.c the media on there?
i just know when i send it to get repaired, everything will prob be wiped clean.
When I take a pic with my 9650 camera, the pic does not immediately go to my memory card. I have to do a soft reset or a battery pull before the pix will show up on my card with all my other pics.
Is anyone else having this problem? I have already had TWO bolds and both of them did the same thing. I have looked at different settings i could change, but had no luck.
I discovered that when I click Media/Expore only the Device file folder displays. The Media file is gone. My camera had 400+ photos on it, and now it says only 16 pictures available, with 0 items in the Camera Pictures. Not only that, the flash is continually lit, and the device gets quite warm, and the battery runs low quickly. I had not recently done a back up, but when I did, it indicated that there were no photos to back up! There is no SD card installed, never had one. I have pulled the battery multiple times, even over night, and nothing is fixed. The camera was working the night before, and when I went to look at the pics the following morning, the flash light was on, and the file and all photos were gone!

Does it with some more often then others and seems to be ones that i've added myself rather then ones taken from facebook. Anyone else experienced this?i'm running 5.0.0.351 although i'm upgrading it now to see if it cures the issue.
