I want to add folders so that I can store messages in a compact and convenient way for retrieval.
Originally I wanted to set up my Blackberry email in OUtlook, but it seems that is not poossible, so the only alternative is to store my email in folders.

Also, the folder that kept all my downloads, the one with the orange arrow pointing in, has also disappeared. I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem please. I have recently purchased a BB-Bold 9700 and transferred my settings from my old Bold. I have to email addresses (both Gmail) registered which appear on my main screen. The push email works fine! However, whenever I send an email, I cannot see the sent mail in the individual email folders but only in the main messages folder which is very annoying and confusing. Here's what I have tried sofar:
1. I tried to go into options and mark "No" in the section indicated hide my sent messages.
2. I tried going into filter and ticking sent messages. They appear but once you press the back button they disappear again.
3. I tried going onto the BB website and I successfully downloaded the newest software update (5.0.0.4) but still it did not resolve the problem....
Do I need to wipe off the whole device? Can someone please help because I'm very confused and frustrated with this issue.....
How do I establish two separate email folders for different email addresses, work and school for instance and have the replies from each folder come from that specific address?

I already tried going to Options ->Device -> Advanced -> Service Book and try to look for those email addresses, but they are not there.
I'm having trouble setting up a new email account. I am able to connect to the Internet using the browser, so it doesn't appear to be connectivity issue. Doing a Soft Reset and pulling the battery doesn't help.

The other day, after having both email accounts on my phone for several months, mine will no longer send/receive messages. When I try to send something it says my account is invalid. I went to the setup and clicked on the icon for email messages, that took me to the screen that allows you to choose from internet mail or the blackberry enterprise mail. I highlighted the internet mail but it will not open when I click on it, it does not respond at all. The accounts is a yahoo account and it is still accessible from my other computers. I have tried taking out the battery and restarting and that doesn't help.

So if an email comes in from a certain email address it goes into a certain folder automatically instead of the regular inbox. Because of this I now no longer get those emails to my BB. I only get emails that still go to the general inbox.[URL].. and have attempted to set it up but it does not work, it says the only folders I have are inbox and spam, when in reality I have at least 10 other folders. I have tried to use the BB desktop manager thing but I get stuck at step 1 as I cannot find email settings anywhere in the program.

When I did the initial set up on my Blackberry Bold 9700 (using 6 OS), I only set up my Yahoo email account, thinking I would get to the others later. However, when I try to add an email account now, by clicking "Setup" and then "Email Account" and then "Internet Mail Account", I am kicked back to the "Setup" folder. I never get to the "Email Setup" screen where you select your provider.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy company has a Blackberry "Style Flip" 9670 for our sales-people traveling in Northern Canada in the Yukon area. This phone goes with whoever is going on that particular trip, however it has 5 different email accounts associated with it for the 3 users that share it.
I don't know if this is possible with a Blackberry or not, but we would love if there was an easy way to temporarily disable the email accounts that do not belong to the person carrying the phone at that point in time.
The way it is now, we have User A (2 email accounts), User B (2 email accounts), and User C (1 email account) sharing this phone. If 'User C' is presently up north and has the phone and sends an email to 'User A' and 'User B', the email is still received on the shared BB for both 'User A' & 'User B' and wastes a lot of precious bandwidth. The main dilema is the two users with multiple accounts on that phone receive a ton of emails daily. This means 'User C' may have 1 crucial email waiting to be received, but has to wait for all of 'User A' & 'User B's' emails to be received before getting the important email.
Is there a way without deleting the accounts each time to turn certain email accounts on and off?
I am changing the "Display Style" to single messages instead of group by subject. I save it, go to email folder and everything is still grouped by subject. I removed the battery to reset and it didn't work.
