BB Bold 9700 :: Deleting Multiple Messages Without Deleting One-by-one
Aug 16, 2010I have a lot of old messages in my visual voicemail and sms text. I have a Blackberry Bold 9700.
Is there some way I can delete all or most of these without having to do them one-by-one?

Aug 13, 2012I cannot find a setting that allows me to keep my text messages from being broken into many individual messages. The same happens to messages I receive. A single message may be broken up into seven or eight individual messages, which most often are not even in the proper order when received, or sent. Most text messages on other phones are one block.

Mar 24, 2012I have just replaced my old phone with the iPhone 4S and it is great. I am going thorugh the learning curve, and want to be as effcient as I can be as quickly as I can. My first challenge is to try and delete multiple e-mails, rather than doing it one at a time. How can I delete consectutive emails from my in box? I still get junk mail and it would be so much easier to highlight a bunch of them if I could. With my old phone I would click on one of the messages and then start touching the screen below that point and it would include all of the messages in between.

It used to be that if I moved a message to a folder in hotmail (on my laptop) and then deleted it from my inbox on the BB, the message would still be in the folder. Now it seems that if I delete a message on my BB, it deletes it from my email account, no matter where it's stored. Is this new or do I need to change a setting to fix it? Jun 7, 2011I have over 150 photos in the Pictures Folder on my Blackberry Torch 9800 and after importing them to my PC, I want to delete them from my BB to regain space and memory.. I can delete these photos one by one following directions in the Guide but it does not make sense to repeat this step 150 times and there must be a quicker way to go about it.
What I want to do is to delete the entire contents of that Pictures Folder in one step. I have looked into the BB Torch User Guide Ver 6.0 and in Help for the BB Desktop Software and have not found any directions on deleting entire folders or multiple files in a folder in one step.
