my son is having my sim card from my phone, how do i delete everything that is on there, can only delete one number at one time, also i need to delete all pics, and everything else that is on there.

how to delete multiple text messages at the same time, rather than deleting them individually? My phone is an X10 mini pro.

When I receive a text from one particular contact in my phone book, the number displayed is a combination of 4 different numbers, all of which belong to different contacts in my phone book. When I reply the text is sent to the first number of the four which is not the contact who sent me the text! None of these four contacts are connected, nor are they adjacent in my contacts list! I tried deleting the contact affected and then adding back in but this did not fix it. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have contact list with records for a lot of people (300+), each with several phone numbers each, home, mobile & work, etc, .I can't seem to find a way to have the iPhone announce the name & number or name & type (home,mobile,work) of the caller from the contact list, my old cell phone could do that easily.
At the moment what I've been doing as a work around for a few (important) people is to create a custom ringtone for that caller & that phone number. Since it also seems there's no way to attach a different ringtones to each number in a single contact record I've had to create multiple contact records for each person, each with a different name/number combination such as "John Doe Work", "John Doe Home" or John Doe Mobile" then assign to it the custom ringtone I created for that name/number.
I need to this so that if I receive a call while I'm driving (or whatever) that I can't answer right then for some reason (often happens), the ringtone I created for that name & number helpfully lets me know who & where their calling from. It's very important to know where someone is calling from, if someone's calling from home then I know I've got some time, but if their calling from work then I need to get back to them quickly.
having to make multiple contacts & ringtones for a every person with multiple numbers is a extraordinary waste of time. My old cell phone could do this with no problem but there doesn't seem to be any way to do this with my new iphone.

It has started dialling random numbers during the night, sometimes my contacts, sometimes just four or five digits, and once to my service operator's helpline. It also did it when it was switched off so I had to start removing the battery at night. Just last week, it wouldn't let me send text messages. I tried the recommendations found on this forum but nothing worked although the sim does work in other phones.
I got in contact with Virgin Mobile and they arranged for me to send them the phone for it to be looked at. Unfortunately, the connection between the USB socket and the phone had been damaged somehow (not sure how as I'm very careful with my phone) so the warranty has been invalidated They say they can't do anything although I have no problem connecting the phone to my computer.
How can i block some mobile numbers.?i have that option in my LG & Samsung mobiles..But i couldnt find that in my Sany Ericsson?

But the thing is, a particular number that i used to block is still being blocked. Is this an issue from the Call Blocker software or system software?

When I recieve a text from one of my contacts the number that is displayed is a combination of two numbers from my contacts. It doesn't come up with their names, just their phone numbers seperated by a semicolon. Then when I reply to the message it will go to the first number of the two and not to the person who sent the message in the first place. I believe that this happened when I sent a text message a little while ago with both of these contacts as recipients, however I now cannot seperate these 2 contacts. I have tried deleting all the texts and contacts, however as soon as I get a new text from this contact it shows as both numbers again. The only way I can reply to this contact is to remember to start a new message, otherwise it will go to the wrong person. I have searched on the internet and found a few other people with is issue on an xperia phone

When I open Ovi Suite / Contacts / Contacts in E51 and open the abovementioned contact "A" it shows:
AMobile: 11Telephone: 44Mobile (other): 22As you see it deleted one of "Telephone" labeled numbers. It also happened when I used PC suite.
It is really annoying as if I save/sync the contact using Ovi, it causes loss of contacts data.BTW there is no problem using Backup/Restore function of Ovi/PC suite, nor "Copy to memory card" function of the phone itself.

I'm probably old fashioned, but there are stuff I just prefer doing from my PC, rather than from my mobile.I read that Samsung Kies no longer works with the S6 (Replaced by Smart Switch), but i'm wondering if there's a 3rd party software that lets me control my S6 from a Desktop PC ? Ive just switched from iphone to the HTC One and ive got to admit its the best thing (in terms of phone choices) i have ever done.
Im still trying to work my way round it but seem to be finding my feet ok.
I am however having a few issues.
My mate has just got a new number and i have saved it under a current contact, now that contact has 2 numbers and i cant delete his old one unless i delete the whole contact then save it again.
