Xperia Z5 :: Phone Screen Is On And Some Numbers Tapped By Emergency Dialpad
Jul 3, 2010I wanna mention some troubles with double tap feature, whenever I take my z5 out of pocket while this feature is turned on, I see that phone screen is on and some numbers tapped by emergency dialpad, also sometimes I see wifi or bluetooth is on though they were off...

also I got yesterday a c5 ultra at half price of z5 but surprisingly I realized c5 is much more stable smooth than z5.. Z5 is much more laggy in menus contacts apps etc than c5 which is faster and more lag-free.....What is the reason of this? Why laggy phone two times expensive? Should we wait for an update or android 6 marshmallow to get a ultra fast z5? The most important thing for me is fast transition between screens, I dont care high graphic games, 8K video record, 85mp camera etc but as I said performance of z5 not so well currently.. Why a highend phone cant handle even menu transitions..

May 12, 2012I have a 3G enabled SIM which works fine on galaxy fit.But in my xperia mini pro, when I select WCDMA the network disconnects and shows "emergency calls only".I have shown that to my service provider but he says thats the phones fault.I have also tried another 3G SIM from another provider in my phone but the problem persists.This is a HARDWARE problem, I got it rectified at SONY service center (free of cost!!!).They replaced the PCB( Printed Circuit Board).

Mar 19, 2012I had received a letter of advice (you can call it a letter of warning) from the local authority on nuisance calls made to the local emergency hotline. There had been a few instances of this issue happening, and I would like to find out if there is a shortcut key. I had the latest happened to me again yesterday and I think the local authority will be writing to me again very soon. I would like to do either of the following:- 1. Change the local emergency number to a invalid entry so that it shows up an error whenever I try to call. 2. Disable the emergency call totally 3. [last resort] get local mobile service provider to bar all emergency calls made from my phone. Am not sure if the local mobile service provider will bar emergency calls...

Oct 5, 2012My phone has been behaving really oddly recently. It has started dialling random numbers during the night, sometimes my contacts, sometimes just four or five digits, and once to my service operator's helpline. It also did it when it was switched off so I had to start removing the battery at night. Just last week, it wouldn't let me send text messages. I tried the recommendations found on this forum but nothing worked although the sim does work in other phones.
I got in contact with Virgin Mobile and they arranged for me to send them the phone for it to be looked at. Unfortunately, the connection between the USB socket and the phone had been damaged somehow (not sure how as I'm very careful with my phone) so the warranty has been invalidated They say they can't do anything although I have no problem connecting the phone to my computer.

I also tried google, but none of the results seem to match.1: After I used the sync app, some of my contacts show double phone numbers. If I edit the profile, there's an extra header called "SyncML," and there seems to be no way to "delete" this header (besides, it would take a lot of time going through all the contacts, deleting it for each contact). I've tried turning off showing the sync contacts out in the list, but since the information is merged, that just doesn't do anything.

When I recieve a text from one of my contacts the number that is displayed is a combination of two numbers from my contacts. It doesn't come up with their names, just their phone numbers seperated by a semicolon. Then when I reply to the message it will go to the first number of the two and not to the person who sent the message in the first place. I believe that this happened when I sent a text message a little while ago with both of these contacts as recipients, however I now cannot seperate these 2 contacts. I have tried deleting all the texts and contacts, however as soon as I get a new text from this contact it shows as both numbers again. The only way I can reply to this contact is to remember to start a new message, otherwise it will go to the wrong person. I have searched on the internet and found a few other people with is issue on an xperia phone

Sep 14, 2010It seems as if I press the screen, it touches some of the keys at the qwerty keyboard. This wakes the phone from key lock and starts the emergency call screen.This is becoming quite a problem as I can't have the phone in my pocket for more then a few minutes before I hear the dialing sound (the sound when pressing a 0-9 key)I'm hoping there's a way to turn off this function (emergency dialing), especially when keys are locked.Does anyone have the same issue? Mar 12, 2012I really like the home screen on my mini pro, but the launcher screen is really annoying. I now have 7 pages of apps, and there is no way to go directly to any particular page.. I am tired of always swiping through page after page. It won't even loop around, so if I'm on the first page and want to go to the last, I can't just go backwards one page.
All of the things I've found to change the launcher also change the home screen. I don't want to change anything but the launcher.Does anyone know if a way to change the app launcher screen without changing anything else? I would love to have the ability to go directly to a page and to have the pages loop.. or, one or the other even. Or else perhaps a 4x4 grid instead of 3x4.
