Xperia Mini/pro :: When Select WCDMA Network Disconnects And Shows 'emergency Calls Only'

I have a 3G enabled SIM which works fine on galaxy fit.But in my xperia mini pro, when I select WCDMA the network disconnects and shows "emergency calls only".I have shown that to my service provider but he says thats the phones fault.I have also tried another 3G SIM from another provider in my phone but the problem persists.This is a HARDWARE problem, I got it rectified at SONY service center (free of cost!!!).They replaced the PCB( Printed Circuit Board).
I just bought this phone before couple of months ago and I love to listen radio over internet when I'm bycling.The network I have is same , my sim card is same but when I try to listen radio over internet , somehow it'll stop after 10 or 15 minutes,untill I'm clicking the play button again,why this happen I don't know, I tihink phone couldn't change the gsm protocol to wcdma protocol when it's choosed "gsm/wcdma preferred",is there any solution for this? only gsm is not enough due to data traffic rate and wcdma is also not available everywhere?
I bought a used, not branded SE c905 (bought in Europe) on eBay, popped in my AT&T SIM and the display changed from "AT&T" (recognized network) to 'emergency calls only' to 'no network coverage', to 'no access to network' to 'inactive SIM'. It switches back and forth between these states, and AT&T, when I called them, said that it's the phone (locked on another network), not the SIM.
The SE phone was previously used in Canada and was used on both Fido and Rogers networks without problems, I am told. To test things out I: - Put the AT&T SIM in my old phone and it works perfectly, (my old phone is an AT&T Nokia that I had unlocked). - Put the AT&T SIM in a friend's phone (also unlocked) and it works fine - Put a friend's T-Mobile SIM in the SE and it worked (although it showed no bars, but displayed the T-Mobile network) and made calls just fine. There are no AT&T settings in the phone - but I should still be able to make and receive calls, and send and receive SMS - but that's not the case.
It seems as if I press the screen, it touches some of the keys at the qwerty keyboard. This wakes the phone from key lock and starts the emergency call screen.This is becoming quite a problem as I can't have the phone in my pocket for more then a few minutes before I hear the dialing sound (the sound when pressing a 0-9 key)I'm hoping there's a way to turn off this function (emergency dialing), especially when keys are locked.Does anyone have the same issue? Perhaps some update or android programming can help me?
when i run the Skype app (downloaded from android market), it starts normally when there is a internet connection available and stops me and tells me when there is not.now with internet connection available when i sign in on my existing Skype account it shows the "no emergency calls" issue and asks to accept terms and conditions. after i accept goes back to log in page and throws up the signing in block with a circle motion animation for a little while and then it goes away and stays in the log in screen.
I got my phone yesterday via Ebay. I put my Virgin sim card into it and it worked perfectly. I could send SMS and make calls. When I got home I updated the firmware to 2.1.1.A.0.6.
Everything seemed fine but I didn't check if I could phone or SMS. I just assumed it was OK. This morning at work I realised I could not send SMS or make phone calls. I got my friend to ring me and all he got was my number could not be connected to. I can still use mobile internet and emails. If I make a call it says "Call Ended" almost immediately.
I put my sim into my friends T-Mobile phone and it works fine. It also works in my Virgin Nokia phone. I've tried a factory reset, a firmware refresh and changing the APN settings with no luck.
My phone lost connection and hasn't been able to find a network for calls/texts etc for past 24 hours in multiple locations where I know there is a good network signal from other phones here. I've tried upgrading the software through PC companion and that hasn't resolved the issue. (It's not in airplane mode and I've also tried powering on/off/on, cleaning SIM card etc)
I have an XperiaX10 and since i did the latest update it just keeps saying emergency calls only/no Sim Card.Everything works fine and I can use everything apart from make calls or recieve and send texts.I have removed SIM card several times all to no avail.I read on a forum about trying to reupdate and tried this, it came up saying no updates but it said repair. Therefor I did repair, seemed like a whole update again as I have had to redo everything , but now I can't access my emails!
Something really weird is happening with my xperia mini pro (sk17a): Whenever I turn the front camera on, WIFI DISCONNECTS!It reconnects automatically as soon as I turn the front camera off.Is this a known issue? Is there any solution?
I tried connecting my Xperia Mini ST15i phone to our house's wifi connection. It will connect but after a few seconds it will disconnect then reconnect again.

My x10 mini , updated to 2.1 version, connects to a nearby wifi accesspoint, remains connected for a few seconds, then discconnects and interrupts web browser, gtalk and any other network application. It reconnects the network automatically after a short while. Other wifi phones and PCs use this access point with no problems. I've checked my phone in an airport, a coffeshop and two university networks and came up with the same issue
yesterday i was updating my x10mini to new android and the update was successful without error, but everytime i restart my phone, system will ask for select language.
Although the network bar shows full connectivity. My SE Xperia Neo V notification bar says no service due to which I'm not able to make/receive calls. My phone had fallen in water so got it repaired by authorized service center. They changed all the parts but still I'm getting this problem.
I like to change my browser settings but can not find the toolbar to select the right buttons. How to I get the toolbar back, I only have the bookmark option.
Purchased Sony Ericsson Pro/Neo/V/L ,I am facing issue where I am not able to send text as well as if someone messages me i receive it late. Also if people call me it shows switch off when it is not. I have the latest software updated (ICS) and my sim card works fine as i tested in some other cell. Where to check the message setting where I will get the option for message center number and validity?
My Curve 9300 has been working fine for the past year and all of a sudden the phone seems to disconnect from the network without any error code etc. As a result, no calls in or out are able to be made / received, BBM's and emails the same issue. All indications are that the service is up and running. The SW is version 6 and apparently is up to date.

Mobile Network = Bell Mobililty (Canadian network) {100% for sure it's not a network problem - others who are on the same network but use a different phone do not experience this problem),Network selection mode = automatic ,Auto on/off = disabled ,Bedside mode = on or off, makes no difference
I cannot have it disconnecting from the network overnight. If there's not a fix, just let me know and I'll use the Curve as a doorstop and get a phone that works.
Im using an Xperia mini pro which I bought a month ago. It's been woking fine till yesterday. From today morning I cant see anything in the gallary. Its just blank with a blured background. It shows "loading files and albums" then nothing happens. It has an SD card (sandisk 4GB). I checked by connecting to laptop. The files are intact. The music player works fine and it plays music from the SD card. But nothing shows up in the gallery. Tried clearing gallery cache and data from application manager. Restarted the phone several times but no hope. All the files can be seen when the phone is connected to the laptop.
I just received 39 texts that were sent 7-8 hours ago. Plus several people said they called my phone and it went straight to voicemail. It's like the phone fell asleep and wasn't connected to the network for hours until I power cycled the phone. In addition many of the delayed texts came in out of order. This is the second time this has happened and I am beginning to think it's either a Photon bug that pops up occassionally or that my phone might be defective. I don't think it's a network issue as nobody else that I know in this area had this problem with other phones.
After a update my X10 mini pro doesn't boot anymore and now it only hans on the SE logo at the very beginning.I tried to use PC companion and SE update service to reinstall/update the firmware but in SE update service I get that I allready have the last version. and on PC companion I get a message that there is no software available for my phone.I even tried to get a own custom firmware to run on it with flashtools but i can't get the x10 mini pro's stock firmware its on xda-developers but its in a zip file while it has to be in a .ftf and i cant seem to get the zip file converted in to a ftf file. I think when i have done that it will work again... but i cant find any tutorial about converting to ftf in any kind of way
I have a problem that my WiFi network disconnects and disappear from the list. Even if I search for network it will not show up. It looks like a lot of the other WiFi networks around me is also missing when this is happening. It will suddenly come back again and work as it should for several hours.
I have i locked to 2,4GHz, WiFi always on, scanning is on.
Had the same problem when I used Auto 2,4GHz/5GHz.
All other devices is working as they should. Have also reset the wireless router. (Netgear X4 R7500)
I have a problem with my nexus to 6p , lose the phone connection and I can not get it back , it says only emergency calls and need to reset the device to return the network....
hey, i dropped my new x10 mini, it fell down real hard , now i'm able to make calls, display is good but it shows sd card removed in the notification panel. tried switching off and on and pressing on/off and home buttons together stll problem remains. sd card not recognized when connected to pc too. ...not even able to use the camera... apps are dead..
I have purchased the xpeia mini pro SK17i on Nov.11I am using Airtel Gprs on my phone, while i am surfing on internet or downloading from internet then no one can call me.because my netowrk operators give the message that mobile is switch off or out of covergae area
My Iphone 3Gs disconnects during outgoing calls very regularly when reception is fine. Message on phone is Call Failed. Is there a simple solution for this this or does it require specialist Apple fix
