hey, i dropped my new x10 mini, it fell down real hard , now i'm able to make calls, display is good but it shows sd card removed in the notification panel. tried switching off and on and pressing on/off and home buttons together stll problem remains. sd card not recognized when connected to pc too. ...not even able to use the camera... apps are dead..

View 8 Replies View RelatedWell basically i have bought this amazing phone xperia play, however downside is the internal memory only 400mb ( i mean seriously) but anyway ive been 'app exploring' and downloaded so many to my sd, but some were un movable from the phone i do not know why. so upon getting full i thought it will be a good idea to give it a reboot, upon doing that, when i revisited the phone ive lost all my apps on my sd card, funny enough i still have my photos and media on the sd card.
also in the settings>applications?managing applications and in the sd section its showing 2.90 gb availible of 7.99 or somrthing, basically the apps are there but i can't view them(thats what i gatherd from this issue)
I had my official mailbox set up on E72 and recently i removed the mailbox due to issues with sync. Mailbox got removed without any issues, however when i click on email one touch key, it still goes to the old mailbox & asks for pwd for connecting. Shudn't removing mailbox clean up everything? I also see this old mailbox name appear under email>global settings>homescreen>. This is strange and annoying. Is there a way i can clean up old mailbox w/o doing hard reset?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIm using an Xperia mini pro which I bought a month ago. It's been woking fine till yesterday. From today morning I cant see anything in the gallary. Its just blank with a blured background. It shows "loading files and albums" then nothing happens. It has an SD card (sandisk 4GB). I checked by connecting to laptop. The files are intact. The music player works fine and it plays music from the SD card. But nothing shows up in the gallery. Tried clearing gallery cache and data from application manager. Restarted the phone several times but no hope. All the files can be seen when the phone is connected to the laptop.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter a update my X10 mini pro doesn't boot anymore and now it only hans on the SE logo at the very beginning.I tried to use PC companion and SE update service to reinstall/update the firmware but in SE update service I get that I allready have the last version. and on PC companion I get a message that there is no software available for my phone.I even tried to get a own custom firmware to run on it with flashtools but i can't get the x10 mini pro's stock firmware its on xda-developers but its in a zip file while it has to be in a .ftf and i cant seem to get the zip file converted in to a ftf file. I think when i have done that it will work again... but i cant find any tutorial about converting to ftf in any kind of way

I added a 128Gb class 10 PNY SD card and it mounted perfectly, copied over about 40Gb of data and all was well.
A while later a message popped up on the screen "SD card removed unexpectedly. It can be damaged. Always unmount SD card before removing it."
I am unable to access the SD card via the phone in any manner, if I remove the card and put it in a USB micro-SD adapter and plug it into my laptop it mounts just fine and I can access all of the data. I have run Windows check disk against the SD card an no issues were found. The phone is still unable to mount/read the card.
I went as far as to remove the partition from the SD card and reinstalled it back in the phone, it was then detected and the phone auto-formatted it, and then I was able to copy my data back onto the device... and about 10 minutes later the same error popped up "SD card unexpectedly..."
I have a second identical SD card, I tried using it and the same exact problem happened.
I have purchased the xpeia mini pro SK17i on Nov.11I am using Airtel Gprs on my phone, while i am surfing on internet or downloading from internet then no one can call me.because my netowrk operators give the message that mobile is switch off or out of covergae area

In the past few days however, i dont know what i did wrong, but i suddenly could not see my facebook pictures from my mini pro's gallery. I synced a number of times but i only see the "new from friends" album but not my own gallery. Ive turned autosync on and off, restarted a number of times, signed out my account and signed in again, but nothing seems to help. there is no problem with my wifi by the way.

A friend suggested that it may just need updating, which made sense because I'd been getting update notifications, just hadn't got round to hooking my ohone up to my laptop. So I did just that and installed the 'companion' but when I try to update, it's asking me to insert a memory card. I've never taken it out! Not once. So i've turned the phone off and on again, as you do.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 3G enabled SIM which works fine on galaxy fit.But in my xperia mini pro, when I select WCDMA the network disconnects and shows "emergency calls only".I have shown that to my service provider but he says thats the phones fault.I have also tried another 3G SIM from another provider in my phone but the problem persists.This is a HARDWARE problem, I got it rectified at SONY service center (free of cost!!!).They replaced the PCB( Printed Circuit Board).

1 select sd card in settings on the X10 then select unmount sd card.2 take out the card with the phone still switched on since I can't remove the battery there is no obvious way to depower it
3 put card in my pc's card reader and copy its contents to a folder on the pc (using copy and paste?), I have seen some mention of hidden files - is there any trick here?
4 put the new sd card in the pc and copy the stored contents onto it
5 put the card into the X10
6 what now - how do I get the x10 to accept the new card?
My Xperia X10 mini got switched off automatically and since then it is showing that "sorry, the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, with an option tab for 'Force close'." And since then it is not rceiving or sending any signal. It is also not getting connected to the PC. My repeated attempts by switching it OFF-on have yielded no results. That sorry window doesnot allow me to access anything in the mobile but for some duration of milliseconds when it is force closed with the option tab.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using 64gb class 10 sandisk sd card. So after updating to lollipop i have been getting these errors frequently and i have to restart the handset to fix it temporarily. I had this issue on kitkat as well but happened only rarely like once ot twice in 5 months.
These two things happened unfortunately,
1) I had dropped my phone on carpet from 2 feet after lollipop update. I wonder if the phone couldn't handle it and the connector for the sd slot has loosened.
2) Few days back i removed the sd card without unmounting it from settings and immediately got the error and kept happening after that.
3) I have tried 3 different cards and all give the same error while writing files or making changes on them.
4) this error also popped up weirdly last night without the sd card, but only once.
My 9700 is only about a month old and it keeps saying that the media has been removed. Or ill go to look at my pictures and I only have access to the ones saved on device memory.So I've been popping it in and out to have access to it, but now when I put it in again (and its pretty annoying having to do this constantly) it's like it doesn't even recognize that its there. I want to try and fix it myself before taking it to robbers, any idea whats going on here?

I've tried a battery pull many times but no change. Also I have checked the card and it is firmly in place and never needs to be pushed in anymore than it is.

Im using the 1520 and 1-2 times a day I have to restart my phone and "scan" my SD card because I get the message that I removed the card. It actually quite frustrating because it takes about 15 minutes to actually scan the SD card not to mention that I have to wait to reboot the phone.
I basically put all my movies, apps, and pictures on the card...using a 64GB Transcend PRO. I dont think the card is corrupt because I literally got it about 2 months ago.
I can not get both my SIM and the SD card in the phone, only one of them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recieved my Xperia mini today and I have a problem with the SIM card slot. When I try to push the SIM card into the slot only about the first three millimeters go in and then it blocks, almost as if something was was already in there.I take it that the SIM should normaly just slip in to the slot with only slight resistance. Am I missing something or have i been unlucky and the slot has a defect?The SIM is in the correct position and the right way round.
