I clicked some photos in my phone and transferred them to memory card, but even when I remove the card I am still able to see those images in photos section! Where is it saved? Im sure there are no leftovers in Mass Memory Images folder.

My phone is not on warranty now . how much charges willbe born by Nokia Care center if i want to rectify this problem .

I've tried a battery pull many times but no change. Also I have checked the card and it is firmly in place and never needs to be pushed in anymore than it is.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWell basically i have bought this amazing phone xperia play, however downside is the internal memory only 400mb ( i mean seriously) but anyway ive been 'app exploring' and downloaded so many to my sd, but some were un movable from the phone i do not know why. so upon getting full i thought it will be a good idea to give it a reboot, upon doing that, when i revisited the phone ive lost all my apps on my sd card, funny enough i still have my photos and media on the sd card.
also in the settings>applications?managing applications and in the sd section its showing 2.90 gb availible of 7.99 or somrthing, basically the apps are there but i can't view them(thats what i gatherd from this issue)
i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?

When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted.Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. What is wrong with my 5230, why it doesnt find my memory card and why inserting it makes so slow? I would like to get it work because it has all my music and pictures etc...

I find that all my photos are stored locally on my Galaxy S5. I asked the ATT people about how I can get those photos stored on my SD card, and they couldn't work. I can't find a basic users manual anywhere, and the on-line forums seem to focus on much more esoteric issues. Is the only solution to periodically use my PC to manually transfer files to the SD card?

I can plug my card reader into the lapdock and see all the files, but have found no way to to advance through pictures in full screen, nor a way to rotate vertical shots. I added a 128Gb class 10 PNY SD card and it mounted perfectly, copied over about 40Gb of data and all was well.
A while later a message popped up on the screen "SD card removed unexpectedly. It can be damaged. Always unmount SD card before removing it."
I am unable to access the SD card via the phone in any manner, if I remove the card and put it in a USB micro-SD adapter and plug it into my laptop it mounts just fine and I can access all of the data. I have run Windows check disk against the SD card an no issues were found. The phone is still unable to mount/read the card.
I went as far as to remove the partition from the SD card and reinstalled it back in the phone, it was then detected and the phone auto-formatted it, and then I was able to copy my data back onto the device... and about 10 minutes later the same error popped up "SD card unexpectedly..."
I have a second identical SD card, I tried using it and the same exact problem happened.
I need some body, tell my how can I install ovi content on the memory card when I use Wifi on my handset 5800.cause all programs immediately goes and installed on phone memory and it is almost full

Having great fun in doing so but not always given the option of where to save them to with the end result that they are saving to the phone memory which keeps filling up and then giving me an error message. Can anyone please tell me how to move apps from the phone memory to the card memory. And can anyone also tell me if I have an icon on the 'Menu' screen and the 'Apps' screen, does this mean the application has been downloaded twice and do I need both or can I delete one (presumably the 'Menu' one)?

All is well except when i connect to PC via USB cable and select 'Mass Storage' I get the message 'Memory Store Unavailable' on my phone and cannot access the contents of my memory card. I have the latest firmware on the phone. As I noticed that my memory is geting low, I deleted my music using File manager and deleted some Saved pages. Problem is that used memory is still the same like it was before I deleted the files. I suppose that my deleted files gone to recycle bin or something like that? How can I REALY delete it (without reset)? I'm having a small problem here. The memory of both memory card and internal memory of my N900 is read only. I tried a reboot, reconnecting, ... Nothing helps.I connect it to a Debian and windows XP, none of them work.Any suggestions somehting like fsck? I know fsck is on the device but I don't know how to use it well?
