HTC Desire HD :: When Sign In On Existing Skype Account It Shows The "no Emergency Calls"?

when i run the Skype app (downloaded from android market), it starts normally when there is a internet connection available and stops me and tells me when there is not.now with internet connection available when i sign in on my existing Skype account it shows the "no emergency calls" issue and asks to accept terms and conditions. after i accept goes back to log in page and throws up the signing in block with a circle motion animation for a little while and then it goes away and stays in the log in screen.

Just picked up a Lumia 920 on Rogers. When going through setup, it requests I log in to my MS account, so I tried to log in to the account I'm using for SkyDrive and my Surface tablet, but no luck. Says Invalid account or password (I know it's correct).It's a hotmail account. Does that make any difference? I figured since I'm using this same account for my Surface Tablet login that it shouldn't be an issue?

I have a 3G enabled SIM which works fine on galaxy fit.But in my xperia mini pro, when I select WCDMA the network disconnects and shows "emergency calls only".I have shown that to my service provider but he says thats the phones fault.I have also tried another 3G SIM from another provider in my phone but the problem persists.This is a HARDWARE problem, I got it rectified at SONY service center (free of cost!!!).They replaced the PCB( Printed Circuit Board).

I am having some weird problem with Nokia E5. I got this phone with *supposedly* pre-installed skype ver 1.5(16) that I cannot find anywhere even in App Manager.
When I try to update to a later version it reports it will upgrade the existing version but the installation halts. "Unable to Install!"
How can I get rid of the existing *ghost* version is there anyway I can do that?

i just installed the Skype application on my iphone, and i can't sign in to my account, although the account is working on PC and had no problems with it, i am using the 3G not the wifi connection, as i was not able to create an adhoc ,

i was able to sign in my skype account on my n900 before and used it couple of times.but now whenever i try to sign in,it says wrong username or password,which i dont understand at all.i used that same username and password 2 minutes later on skype website and the software on my pc and it worked perfectly fine.Anyone encountering this same problem.btw my skype is preloaded in n900 and i sing in through voip service in settings.

My mum just gave me her old iPhone 4 and told me to wipe all the old info etc off it. So I did what I thought was factory reset, now it just has a logo of a cable pointing to something that says itunes and has a slider to slide for emergency numbers. I don't even have a mobile so don't know about iphones now I think I have seriously messed up her old phone.Â

I am the web admin for a few domains. I have a client who recently switched to a Curve 9300 from Nokia... I have spent weeks now talking to various Vodacom SA representatives, trying to add her pop3 email account under the BIS server.
I have tried by logging into her BIS accout, and the Vodacom support centres have tried the same. It always returns saying "Contact your system administrator, incorrect username or password.Despite this the username and pwd IS correct, as she can access her mail from OUTLOOK, or Outlook Express, or via webmail, also if i add her details on my HTC Snap I can login and retrieve her mobile mail with no problem,
On her previous handset with the company, a Nokia, she also has no problem accessing mail, so it is confined to the BlackBerry RIM service.i have a suspicipon that her domain name cgm.co.za is "blacklisted" on the RIM service... but offcourse Vodacom keeps pointing the finger and saying that the hosting company (hostica.com) is not working... if none of the settings worked on ANY other email device or phone i would agree with them, but this is a Blackberry ONLY problem

I just got a Nokia Lumia 710 a week and a half back from Wind Mobile, and just yesterday it started saying "No Service - Emergency Calls Only" So I looked through everywhere and tried turning it on and off, removing the sim card, etc, and nothing works.

There are far too many complaining about this, are there any fixes for it yet? I have this problem also. Its intermittent at the moment, I can recreate this occasionally or just coincidence? If I try making a call while the signal bar is red, I can't make the call so if then I hang up, then the emergency calls appears even though the signal bar goes full (blue). If I reboot the phone it works fine for a short while.

I have an XperiaX10 and since i did the latest update it just keeps saying emergency calls only/no Sim Card.Everything works fine and I can use everything apart from make calls or recieve and send texts.I have removed SIM card several times all to no avail.I read on a forum about trying to reupdate and tried this, it came up saying no updates but it said repair. Therefor I did repair, seemed like a whole update again as I have had to redo everything , but now I can't access my emails!

Friday at 15:00 Did my mobile just turn off. It will not light when it's charging up, so i have an idea it may be that it does not detect the battery. When I try to turn it on, screen stays black, it does not vibrate, it does nothing.

I've been using my Vivaz Pro on O2 for about 2 months now and I've been have an intermittent problem. The phone will suddenly not allow me to make calls, when I try to make a call it says "Emergency Calls Only" even though I have a good to full signal AND I can still receive calls and send and receive text messages. Also when this problem happens the power button no longer responds, so I am unable to lock or turn the phone off so I have to do a battery pull. Even after removing the battery and SIM and replacing it all the problem is still there. Then it will just work again at various times. This is very frustrating. I have tried contacting O2 but I just get pre- typed messages back which are NO HELP at all, they are obviously not understanding my problem and think it's a network issue or Im somewhere where I cannot get a signal.I was also disgusted that Sony Ericsson used the Nokia OS on their phone, I vowed to never buy a Nokia again after having 4 Nokias and having problems with them all. I go back to trusty Sony Ericsson only to find its got Nokia software Low and behold I'm having problems.

My stepson lost his phone so I turned off service and reported it lost. In the meantime I got a new SIM issued and put it in my old Blackberry for him to use. 4 days later he found the phone. I took it into AT&T to have the SIM changed over and we are unable to get past the screen that says Emergency call only and displays a number pad. The screen saver says in red Iphone is disabled connect to iTunes. I did bring it to my house to try and connect to itunes but when I did that it asks me to put the password of the phone into the phone, which I cannot do as it only will let me make emergency calls...

How do I do it? and why do I keep being asked for an Enterprise Server password/code - what is it and where do I find it. Also, while we're getting all techy, my son has a curve and he has fb, twitter yahoo etc on his download icon, but I don't.

A year and a half ago when I got my BB Pearl from my employer I set it up to also receive email from my existing personal Comcast account. Just before Christmas, my BB suddenly stopped receiving any emails from that account. I have rebooted the BB multiple times since then, including removing and replacing the battery. That didn't help. Today I finally decided to just delete the Comcast account info from the BB and start over on adding it as an existing account. However when I get to the account password field, the normal keyboard function that swaps letters isn't working, so I can't enter my correct password. For example suppose my password is "spry". What I get is "aoet"--the keyboard won't switch in the alternate letter if I delete and re-type, as it does for every other piece of text I've ever entered on the BB.
