How do I do it? and why do I keep being asked for an Enterprise Server password/code - what is it and where do I find it. Also, while we're getting all techy, my son has a curve and he has fb, twitter yahoo etc on his download icon, but I don't.

May 14, 2011I bought my first BlackBerry (Curve 3G 9300) on Friday and tried to setup a personal email account on the phone via the setup wizard earlier today.The phone said that an update to 6.11...... was needed in order to do this. I let it update, now the phone is just hanging after starting up. If I do a start up after removing the battery it comes up with a black screen with the BlackBerry logo and a progress bar below it. The progress bar moves along until the end, this takes around a minute. It then shows something like a little clock over the logo for about a second. Once this disappears the phone says with the logo and the completed progress bar - and just hangs there.

Apr 18, 2012I've transferred my apps/games/etc to iTunes already. Every now and then I get bored of a game on my iPod/iPhone and I delete it. I can delete it because I also know I can download it again, since I have all my previous purchases saved on my Computer (in iTunes). Can I sync individual apps/games to my iPhone and leave what I had on there without it being deleted? I know I can manually choose a game/app and transfer it via iTunes, but is it possible to do this without having to re-arrange and start "fresh"?
The only other way is to re-download the app/game directly on my iPhone. I have over 200 apps on my iPhone, thats why it bugs me (having to re-arrange and organise all my stuff). If I come to transfer an individual app/game, iTunes resets my phone to default and I have to manually setup everything. All I want to do is ADD one app, without affecting the current structure/layout/apps that are already installed on my iPhone. Is this not possible???

I go online at the sprint.blackberry.com site to add my emails - it won't let me add this one - if I put in the info as an established email - it asks me for the server name. I talked to tech support a good 40 minutes with no help what so ever! I even looked into it like they may have canceled my email - but when I enter it as a new one it says it's taken. So anyone know how I can add my existing blackberry email account to this new phone/network?

Jul 30, 2012I need to reset an existing email and setup is now asking me to login with a user name and password, this has not been the case in the past on my phone. I do not have a password enabled on my phone. It will give a forgotten password option and asks for a username. No matter what email address I give it tells me the password was successfully sent to my blackberry, but it does not appear in any of my email addresses. I have shut off the phone; taken out the sim card and battery and started back up and that doesn't change it either.

Mar 7, 2011I am the web admin for a few domains. I have a client who recently switched to a Curve 9300 from Nokia... I have spent weeks now talking to various Vodacom SA representatives, trying to add her pop3 email account under the BIS server.
I have tried by logging into her BIS accout, and the Vodacom support centres have tried the same. It always returns saying "Contact your system administrator, incorrect username or password.Despite this the username and pwd IS correct, as she can access her mail from OUTLOOK, or Outlook Express, or via webmail, also if i add her details on my HTC Snap I can login and retrieve her mobile mail with no problem,
On her previous handset with the company, a Nokia, she also has no problem accessing mail, so it is confined to the BlackBerry RIM service.i have a suspicipon that her domain name cgm.co.za is "blacklisted" on the RIM service... but offcourse Vodacom keeps pointing the finger and saying that the hosting company (hostica.com) is not working... if none of the settings worked on ANY other email device or phone i would agree with them, but this is a Blackberry ONLY problem

When going through setup, it requests I log in to my MS account, so I tried to log in to the account I'm using for SkyDrive and my Surface tablet, but no luck. Says Invalid account or password (I know it's correct).It's a hotmail account. Does that make any difference? I figured since I'm using this same account for my Surface Tablet login that it shouldn't be an issue?

Jan 17, 2010A year and a half ago when I got my BB Pearl from my employer I set it up to also receive email from my existing personal Comcast account. Just before Christmas, my BB suddenly stopped receiving any emails from that account. I have rebooted the BB multiple times since then, including removing and replacing the battery. That didn't help. Today I finally decided to just delete the Comcast account info from the BB and start over on adding it as an existing account. However when I get to the account password field, the normal keyboard function that swaps letters isn't working, so I can't enter my correct password. For example suppose my password is "spry". What I get is "aoet"--the keyboard won't switch in the alternate letter if I delete and re-type, as it does for every other piece of text I've ever entered on the BB.

I'm trying to set up email but atm its only giving me the option for setting up work email account with a BB enterprise server - I just want to set up a normal email account using my normal hotmail account but i cant get any further along as it asks for my enterprise activation password - which i obviously dont have?
Also - a few friend have gien me their pin so i can add them on BBM, i type the pin and it says contact pending but the person/s im trying to add get no notification that i'm trying to add them - we try it the other way with me giving them my pin and get the same result WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

BB Curve :: Cannot Setup New Email Account
Sep 6, 2011I am a consultant and have a client that has a BB Curve. He has been using a certain provider inet for his email. He has now changed to a different provider (for technical reasons). I have tried to setup his new email account for the new provider - I also use a BB curves and have performed this operation for over 50 of my clients. However in this scenario, the Curve keeps asking for his account id and password. We have tried to enter it and it says that the Username cannot be blank. If we exit and re-enter the setup tool, and then enter the same info again, it says that the username and/or password is incorrect. His credentials have never - ever changed.
We cannot get his password (or acct info) sent to him by BB (RIM), because he no longer has the email address of record. Of course I tried entering a different email address to send it to, but of course it doesn't get to his phone as there is no eamil address setup (except his old one). The provider here in town (TELUS) has been quite useless in helping and have been quite specific that we need to talk to RIM, well of course this seems to be the only avenue available.Can someone direct us to the appropriate area or resource in order to proceed with setting up his new email account.
